Easy and quick check-in. The lady at reception was very kind and friendly. Offered us breakfast for free which I really appreciated. This is our second time staying here. The pool was warm and clean and opening times are great. We will be back for sure.

Breakfast was excellent with everything to cater for dietary needs. Room clean and very comfortable. Nice touch being offered water and cake on arrival.

We used the spa and although the hotel room, restaurant and reception were exceptionally clean, the spa let it down. The floor areas did not appear to be clean in the changing rooms and the walkway from the ladies changing room to the pool was very slippery. I would of liked to have seen some details in the room about the spa for example towels provided, we found ourselves taking towels from the room as this was unknown. The towels we were provided in the spa had dirty stains which didn't give a good image.

Room was ok. Food was generally good. The location was good.

Communication could have been better. Staff did not inform about registration of car at check-in. Also, enquired about a group discount at reception. The response was to give me a number to call in another location. After a 45 minutes call directing me to 4 different people, I was sent back to reception and finally got an answer. This request certainly did not need a 45 minutes phone call. Cups in the breakfast room were generally unclean. I used disposable cups instead. Also, a used cup remained in the room after housekeeping had cleaned the room. Overall, it did not feel like a 4* hotel, and slightly worse than some budget hotels I've stayed in.

Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was spacious and well decorated with a nice seating area and large TV on the wall. The room felt cool, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and spacious (unlike some other hotels). Breakfast was tasty with a good selection of hot and cold food (I had the self-service Full English whilst my wife had cereal and egg on toast).

There was a problem with the bedside shelf, which led to a drink being spilled (this was reported to reception who dealt with the matter). The bathroom was quite cramped but the large shower made-up for the rest of the bathroom. Breakfast: the sausage quality was quite poor: the bacon was overly salty: there were no hash browns available.

Everything you need it's there an more!! Facilities are brilliant caters for all needs and people even dogs!! Little touches you've made here are brilliant....water and blackcurrant on arrival for example 👌

Staff! Both reception and bar staff could have been a bit more enthusiastic especially the man behind the bar! My second time here and both times it looks and sounds like he doesn't want to be there.When working with the public it's only right you make your customers feel welcome and comfortable and most of all happy, if they're not smiling that's not making the customers smile and just feel at ease and like you're a chore not a guest... it's not very good customer service skill to lack in my eyes! Let the hotel down for me have to say! Having worked with the public myself I know it ain't always easy but it is part of your job! The biggest part of working with the public is making them feel you've done your job correctly by the customer leaving overly satisfied!

We had an amazing time here! A special thanks to Anu, the receptionist, who checked us in and provided us with all the information we needed about the hotel. This hotel definitely offers good value for money! There are plenty of free parking spaces, and the location is great if you have a car. It was pretty quiet, we didn’t hear the motorway, even though it’s close by. Our room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We had an iron and hairdryer in the room, and the shower pressure was good. The heating worked well, and we didn’t have any issues with it. The only thing missing in the room was a fridge, but it wasn’t a big deal. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices. While it may not be amazing, it’s quite decent by UK standards and suitable for the level of the hotel.

We were on the ground floor the swimming pool was nearby. The disable room was big and the bathroom. It was comfortable to stay there. Everything was on the ground floor. It was walking distance. The staff were great especially Bradley and Georgina were great great always helping us and the children And fulfil our needs. It was a good Easter break holiday. Thank you so much.

The room for a good size but the bathroom was small and toilet shower to near each other was not enough room to move around in the shower room and the bathroom so we had to change our room because having knee problems it was hard to sit down on the toilet And also there was no fridge mini size in the room to keep your cold drinks other hotel in Holiday Inn have mini fridge in the rooms and water was provided in the room every day that was the only we did not like otherwise the room sizes were good, but like I said The bathroom into a small for big size people chubby family members

I asked for a special request for my little boy and the hotel staff went above and beyond, he was greeted with colouring books and Easter eggs, complementary, we had special messages on the mirror and on cards in the hotel, honestly could ask for more. Breakfast was amazing so much range even had a kids station with pancakes fruit and waffles. Staff were lovely and made my little boy feel very special, so I really appreciate all the effort that went in would 100% stay again.

Swimming pool was not clean, my only complaint water was murky and bits on the pool floor.

Good location, amenities and breakfast.

I requested for accessible room with shower for a disabled person. I made the request at the point of booking, followed up the day before arrival and was moved from one person to other to confirm the request. It was not done until i reached the reception the next day and the lady at the front desk helped to sort it out.By then all the facilities on the ground floor were booked. So we were allocated a room downstairs and the hotel didn’t had a lift. Really inconvenient for disabled person and poor customer service. Not visiting again.

Parking availability, free parking and check-in was very quick. The room was beautiful, stylish and very clean. Good amount of towels, pillows and hot drinks provided. The room had a smart TV which was great as I was able to load Netflix and watch what I wanted.

Understandable it was a late check in (11pm) but the staff looked miserable. Wasn’t very welcoming as we expected it to be. Nobody smiled, there was no eye contact during the check-in process until they had given directions to our room. On the day of check out, there were no thank you or goodbye.
