This hotel is quiet and good-looking. The location is near the omicho area, and it’s very convenient to go to other visiting spots. The room is clean and large. And the staff are very very warm. Because of the earthquake we were trapped in amaharashi area and there is no public transportation to go back to Kanazawa. Thanks to Miyoshi-san, he drove for over two hours to pick us back to the hotel, and arranged a new room for us. The word is not enough to express my thanks in the difficult period. Hoping your hotel can recover soon from the earthquake and everything can go on well in the future. ❤️

A fantastic smaller hotel in the heart of Kanazawa. Location is great for doing just about anything you’d like to do during your trip. About a 15min walk from the main train station. The staff are so polite and welcoming. The building is older but nicely renovated. Everything is very clean. The rooms are so cozy and comfortable. Size is appropriate for Japan. There is art/photos in the rooms and a real plant. It is a very charming place that is different from the bigger, chain hotels. I’m also not sure what it was, but I got the best sleep here that I’ve had my entire trip. Do yourself a favor and stay here! Oh and definitely try one of their special ginger drinks at the mini cafe they have on the first floor! Delicious.

Cozy cafe at the hotel entrance with great coffee and relaxing jazz music. Room was beautiful and very comfortable. The pajamas were so soft! You can purchase a pair - I wish I had! The location is fantastic. Just a 15 min. walk from the train station, right next to the Omicho Fish Market and a short walk to the castle grounds and Kenrokuen Garden. They rent bikes and there's also an electric bike rental station just down the street. We rented e-bikes every day and easily got around town to see all the sites. Even rode them up to the lookout on nearby Mount Utatsu. You do need a Japan phone number to rent online. Maybe the hotel would let you use theirs? The staff were very friendly and kind and spoke English well. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again!

The breakfast was the only disappointment. It was just a piece of toast and a tiny portion of yogurt with granola. And I mean tiny, like a few spoonfuls. It was only 500 yen but hardly worth it. Better to spend your money on a bigger meal that will sustain you until lunchtime.

The staff was quick to offer to help us make any reservations we needed. They were very kind, and they helped us with a lot of questions we had. We had never shipped luggage from one hotel to another before. They pretty much did the whole thing for us. The rooms are huge for a Japanese hotel. Big bed with room on all sides of the bed. My boyfriend brought a huge suitcase (bigger than common checked suitcases), and we had plenty of room for that, my luggage, both our backpacks, and all of our souvenirs. The location was great. It's pretty central. Right next to the market, between the castle and the main historic geisha district. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very affordable and cozy single room for a solo traveller, without being cramped. The hotel had all the amenities that you could need- private bathroom, elevator, laundry facilities, vending machine and the staff were cheerful and kind. The location was a 15 minute walk from Kanazawa station, and a two minute walk to omicho market. Similarly Kanazawa castle park and it's surrounds are only about 10 minute walk from the door of the hotel.

My only criticism would be the mattress could be a little more supportive. And that a good set of earplugs may be needed on those rainy nights, which are frequent in kanazawa (bring an umbrella!)

Me and my wife stayed at Hotel Pacific for 4D/3N and had a very good stay. The rooms are very cozy with very good light seeping in from the windows. There is a cafe downstairs at the small lobby that is very cute and a water refilling station. What really worked for us additionally was the fact that it was close to Omicho market (~150 mtrs) and Kanazawa castle (~700 mtrs). It is also very close to the bus stop and is convenient to get to Kanazawa station by bus (only a stop or two away). The staff is really helpful and helped us in our stay. We would highly recommend staying here at this hotel considering the good value and would look forward to staying here in future as well.

Staff is extremely nice and allowed me to check in a couple hours earlier. Location is great, just around the corner of the big market, castle and all the major sights of Kanazawa. Room itself is pretty spacious for Japanese standards, super clean and bed was comfortable.

The only thing I would point out is the laundry, particularly dryer. I washed my clothes for 2 hours and they came out not smelling very fresh and the dryer didn’t work at all. Everything was still wet after using additional drying cycle. Do yourself a favor and use a coin laundry outside instead.

The staff of this hotel were absolutely fantastic and super friendly! The size of the room was surprising quite large, especially as it was just a single room, however it felt like you weren’t cramped and had space to move around! Location is pretty decent, it’s a 20 minute walk from Kanazawa Station, but bus transport is close by and other sightseeing places were very close

Maybe a bit more details on how the room cleaning service works, or where to put trash for those staying for longer. But it is very minimal complaints as everything else was basically perfect

The location was a huge plus, 3 minutes away from the famous market and around 10 minutes to the Kanazawa castle and beautiful gardens! There were also nearby bus stops, and the central station was 20-minute walk, and 10 minutes by bus. The hotel's fantastic coffee shop on the first floor made the experience much better. The smell of fresh coffee really helps start the day, and their coffees are yummy! I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again! The room was also amazing and spacious in relation to Japanese standards; the amenities were simply great, and the room had a nice style.

Honestly nth, the wifi wasn't super fast but wasn't a big deal.

This place had impeccable vibes! The owner also was a host and gave the best hospitality in my whole stay of Japan. He gave helpful advice of where to go and was so accommodating to us even after we checked out. They held our bags until the evening when we left. He has an eye for aesthetics. As a Californian, I found the California theme to be very fun. The cafe was amazing also. Great coffee and for ginger fans excellent homemade ginger tea and ginger latte. Wish we had time and energy to use the rental bikes. Whatever I didn't like about the pace was outshone by all the positives. I feel like this place could be the centerpiece of a Wes Anderson movie.

The only downsides I had were the rooms were on the smaller side and hot in the evenings while we were in the remnants of the heat wave. I found that to be standard though in other places in Japan so it is probably something an American sees as a downside. Perhaps we didn't find the thermostat.
