The hotel is very near to kumamoto castle and in a shopping district. Plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy. Parking is possible next to the hotel. The hotel has a large public bath available. The rooms are very spacious and each have a separate shower area and toilet.

The rooms were somewhat run down. They were styled as traditional but compared to other hotels missed the original feel.

Good location in large Japanese style hotel. Room was a good size, breakfast great and onsen on 6th floor a bonus. Parking a couple of minutes away in a multistorey carpark that hotel has agreement with.

The location was really good, right in the city center. Around the area was a lot of shops and restaurants. The breakfast is really really good

Location was excellent to visit Kumamoto castle and the arcade. The breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious.

The bath facility was difficult to access. There wasn’t much explanation on what to bring to the big bath from the room, like a bath towel. Also, no bath mat in the room’s shower.

Breakfast not super good & onsen very basic but maybe it was just my experience but I found it small and two annoying French men were shouting at each other in there? Japanese guests too polite to tell them to shut up
