The accommodation is located in a quiet residental area with restaurants, bars and cafés. It’s a 10 minutes walk away from the busy parts of town on the other side of the river. The connection to public transport is very good The rooms are moderately large. (There is little space for large suitcases) The bed is very large. (The mattress is a little too hard for my taste.) The hotel has an incredibly spacious common area, which is beautifully decorated in mid century-style, where tea and hot water are offered. In the mornings cereal and coffee are offered. The staff is very competent and friendly Smokers: the first Smoking room I encountered in Japan that wasn‘t designed to judge and make you feel uncomfortable. I could actually enjoy smoking a cigarette - a spacious, clean room with a window and seats, that did not smell.

Overall our stay was great. We slept on the futon on the ground. It was very clean. I love the fact the facility didn’t smell like mold. The majority of the room is covered In tatami so just keep shoes off. I liked that they provided us with new towels even though we only stayed for two nights. They had a laundry room, make sure you bring coins with you. They’re 200 yen for washer, 100 yen for 20minutes in dryer. There are only 2 washers and 2 dryers so if it’s busy you may need to wait. They had nice refreshments in the lobby. Publix transit was close by. Did not have to worry about sorting trash.

This place did not have a ramp or easy access for individuals with luggage or with disabilities. You will need to walk up some stairs to get to The property. Found a baby shoe under the futon. They might not be cleaning thoroughly

This is a small hotel located in a quiet neighborhood. Aeon mall is just nearby which is a plus. You take what you need (like ice cube and kettle) from the common area to your room. The room is at good size for 3 proper beds (thick mattress on the elevated floor). Staff is "out of sight" and will appear when you need them. I personally like this idea.

The hotel is a little bit off the central area though the tram station is nearby and it brings you to all major tourist spots. We have no complaint with the amount we paid for a good sleep.

Very small room, but at least you have your own room. It was very clean and quiet. The lounge downstairs is very cool and has in my opinion AMAZING coffee (drip bag, but one of the beszélni ones I've tried), and it's also nice to hang out there. The wifi was okay. Location is great and the staff was very kind, they also speak very good English. Parking was available on site. Laundry is also available and is quite cheap.

The bathroom is laughably small (still gets the job done). The room is a bit unhomely, it wasn't a great feeling to be there.

Very good price-value ratio. Spacious and clean room. Walking distance from the Kumamoto City Center. Resters Bed&Co is a newly renovated hotel, where one can only still see the old hotel from the bathroom.

The breakfast is basically non-existent and the lounge is quite empty and uncomfortable. There are only very few restaurant options close by. It would be very nice if plates, bowles and cutlery would be available in the lounge for outside food like in a hostel.

The stay was really great. Within walking distance to lots of good restaurants. The staff were all very friendly & helpful, especially with organizing a parking space. Really loved the provided instant ramen as a quick snack through the day. The western bed was comfortable, if not a little bit firm with a thin mattress covering (I could feel the springs under me). Great for a solo traveler!

The bathroom in the single room was quite small. I would usually leave the door open to not feel too closed in. The shower curtain also did not completely close so I had to find a way to make sure water didn’t spray over the sink.

Good location just across the river from the city center. Within 5-10 minutes walking you are in the shopping street. - The room itself is relatively spacious.It comes with an arm chair, a fridge and a hair dryer but no kettle. You can ask for a kettle at the front desk. - There are a couple of restaurants in the immediate area, most are in the city center though. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. - Private parking is offered at a fee. - The value you get is excellent.

This was the second time I stayed on the same trip. The room was comfortable and spacious for 1 and had all I needed. I continued to enjoy a nice cup of matcha tea at the end of the day in the common space. Parking is easy and convenient, staff are sweet and friendly

In my second stay the bathroom and toilet facilities were more compact and squishy, which made it a bit more clumsy to use, not a big negative.

The room was exactly what I needed, towels and pajamas provided, close to the nearest bus stop, wide common space with tea and noodles free for the taking, luggage storage after check-out, and really really kind staff!! The price-quality ratio honestly surprised me!

The entrance is one staircase up and the bathroom seemed a little bit old, but that's honestly all I can think of!

Very good hotel, you immediately feel like you are in a high-quality accommodation. The lobby is new and huge, the rooms are big, and the AC is controllable. The staff were great, had amazing English and helped us with the parking space as well as recommendations for traveling to Aso (they even called the place for us to get more information regarding the specific day). Location is central - and within walking distance to the shopping arcades, castle, or Luffy.
