The location was very convenient, only 1 subway stop away from Nagoya station. We were able to find it very easily, despite having young children and luggage with us. The house is well furnished and very comfortable. We are a family of 6, and the adults stayed in the main bedroom, while the 4 children stayed in a second bedroom where mattresses were laid out on tatami mats. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed for a short stay. We could access our own Netflix accounts on the TV and there were games for the kids. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The house had absolutely everything we needed, super fast WiFi 200mb/s down 100mb/s up, all the facilities we needed such as iron, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer, lots of space and a super cool samurai in the hallway! The host was extremely friendly and even offered to taxi us if we needed during our stay, very lovely place to stay I would highly recommend for anyone stopping in Nagoya.

Great house. Living room with kitchen with all you need. Washinemachine and seperate dryer. Wet room with clothes dryer function. Western style bed slept very well. Also 2 parking spaces for your car. Couple of minutes walking from the subway. Very nice host and explains everything very very very well.

Don’t know if this is bad, but the tatami in the bedroom was so new it smelt very much like tatami. And I’m not used to the smell.

Extremely clean and modern house, separate washing machine and clothes dryer, Dyson hairdryer and Nintendo for kids! Host was very caring and explained how to use everything. Yaoki supermarket nearby makes it very convenient to shop for fruits and groceries. Super comfortable beds and indoor floor heating too. We were so sad to leave this house!

Nothing. The host really puts in effort to care for her guests and everything is spotless. She responds very quickly to any queries. Although we were worried about the location at first, taking a subway train from Nagoya station to Taiko Dori station proved to be a breeze.

Well furnished and everything is still in a pristine condition. Heaters provided in living room, bathroom and all bedrooms... Very clean as well... Good facilities with toaster, microwave oven, kettle, cutlery, washing machine, dryer, towels and hangers provided..

None but we discovered a cockroach hiding below the stairs and hubby managed to catch it. Main door is kinda of hard to open.. Need to carry our heavy luggages up/down the stairs at nearest subway station Taiko-dori..elevator only till the first level.

We stayed 4 nights at Samurai House II and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The house is very well equipped and has everything you need. The owner Mikiko is very kind and welcoming and happy to provide information and recommendations for restaurants and local sights. The house is about a 15 minute walk to Nagoya Station and there is also a metro station close by at the top of the street. There are some good restaurants within easy walking distance of the house (a well known noodle restaurant and an excellent sushi restaurant were particularly good). The house has a compact combined open space living room and kitchen with separate bathroom and toilet on the ground floor (the bathroom also includes a washing machine and clothes dryer). Upstairs has a main bedroom, tatami room and additional toilet. The kitchen has tableware, microwave, oven/toaster and small refrigerator. Laundry detergent, kitchen detergent, shampoo rinse, body soap, towels, toothbrush, instant coffee and tea are all kindly provided. The Wi-Fi is good and high-speed. I can highly recommend Samurai House II and would definitely want to stay again when I come to Nagoya.

There are only a couple of things missing that would make the house almost perfect- a coffee machine and access to English Channels on the TV (although we made do with YouTube).

A warm and homely place to stay. The Host had everything thought off from smart TV, Nintendo set, a file on tourist attractions to charging cable. The bed was comfortable and place is very clean. Pretty close proximity to the JR station. Highly recommend for family traveller

As per the pictures 👍 A nice change from hotels. We travelled w extended family, so here it’s nice cos we have our own space yet have a place to gather. gave us a chance to set up our own breakfast the way we like it too!

walking to n fro nagoya station with kids n luggage is quite a big task. taking subway w the stairs too is tough. happy Mikiko helped us to book a big taxi to nagoya meitetsu where we could take the train to airport.

The host was amazing and super helpful finding a rental car for us when most places did not have any availability. She was great at suggesting restaurants and helping us deliver our luggage to our next location. She did that all free of charge too!

Comfortable living space and bedrooms, great location just 3 minutes from the subway but nice and quiet. The host was also super helpful!
