Great value, good sized room for 4 people at a very reasonable price. Facilities clean and tidy. Big shared common room downstairs and a good laundry. Subway is a bit far away, but there is a train station to Namba very close. Great access to Namba and Shinsekai.

The neighborhood is what it is, an area that has quite a few homeless and itinerant people, mostly of an elderly age. This is due to the support systems in the area I'd guess. However, they are not a nuisance and not unfriendly and you will not feel unsafe. There is a train line right next to the building and the trains run from early to late. They are loud and you'll notice it. We got used to it. But it may annoy some.

We booked this for a group of 4, and the value for money is the first reason why we chose this hotel. It’s comfortable and of a pretty decent size. The location is also a stone's throw away from one of the train stations going to Namba, which is really convenient. Speaking of the location, I know many of you are curious about the "safety" issues mentioned in a lot of reviews here. Let’s put things into perspective. I can understand why some people may find it looks "unsafe" because there are some homeless people around the area; however, it always depends on what you consider unsafe. My friends and I come from a country where unsafe means you are really in danger, like crimes and those kinds of stuff, but I am telling you, this area isn’t like that. We never felt unsafe, and there was no reason for us to feel that when we were there. My advice is if homeless people or just a regular residential area will make you feel uncomfortable, then don’t book it. But if you’re okay with staying in an area with real residential life, then give this place a chance.

There is only one pillow for each bed which we think is common in hotels in Japan because we had the same experience in Tokyo.

The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly and spoke a good level of English. We arrived a little early but they were accommodating with allowing us to leave our bags until 3pm check-in. The room and bathroom also very spacious and spotlessly clean, and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your trip to Osaka!

The area of the city in which this hotel is located is not the nicest or cleanest, but it is only a short walk from a metro station on one of the main lines for accessing tourist attractions and more central areas.

My friends and I chose this hotel for our visit to Universal Studios Japan. It was a good location, an easy walk to a train station. Only 30 minutes from the park, in an area close to Osaka nightlife. The room was clean, and suited 4 guests very well. Check in was easy and simple. The staff spoke customer service English well, although my group can speak some Japanese this was appreciated.

The neighbourhood was described to me as 'unsafe' and I can understand why. My group of young female travellers did see that the streets were dirty and the area seemed rougher. However we never felt unsafe or in any danger. Many cities have central areas that are very 'lived in' and the value for money was high, so we did not see this as a problem. However less confident travellers may want a warning about the street conditions in the neighbourhood.

Nice position, close to public transport and to many locations. The room was clean, big enough to fit three people. Recommended

The area where the hotel is located is not the best in Osaka: dirty (if compared to other places in Japan) and with a few homeless people. If you don’t mind then, it’s a great location anyway. We got no problem at all

-We stayed with them for 6 days. But since we were not instructed how to throw out our trash, all of them piled up until our last day. -The neighborhood may not be preferable for families, or solo travellers. But it was still safe to go around at night.

This hotel met all our expectations and there were a lot of local gems near by which made the stay better. What we didn't know of was the amount of homeless and abandoned warehouse buildings nearby which made stepping out of the hotel feel very contrasting. However, the area still feels safe and friendly as most keep to themselves.

... Something that needs to be mentioned is the closeness to the train stations - great accessibility but train sounds are inevitable.

We had the family room and the toilet is just FANTASTIC. Clean, nice and very comfortable. The shower is great. The hotel have everything you actually need. There is also a laundry space. I was very pleased.

I'm sorry but the matrass was terrible and the pillows are to hard. I feel even guilty to say it because all the other things were just great.
