This is a great hotel, very good value compared to similar hotels in the same area. Aesthetically, it feels like a modern take on a Japanese business hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. facilities are excellent - ice water machines on every level, large coin laundry, and its nice to have a traditional bath in a modern hotel. The breakfast buffet was a highlight. Good mix of western and Asian cuisine, and the kitchen staff run the place like a well oiled machine. Coffee machine that can do more than just hot or ice coffee. Family mart just around the corner if you need a late night snack. Restaurants and izakayas just on the other side of the over pass when you want dinner.

If I have one complaint it would be the location isn't as convenient as the map lead me to assume. It LOOKS close to Osaka station, but its probably a 15-20 minute walk depending on which exit you come out (and just finding your way out of the station is a bit of a nightmare). It's just a bit far if you're dragging a heavy suitcase after a long flight. It's also about 5-10 minute walk to the nearest metro station(s), so if you're planning to PT around the city you'll have to factor in some walking.

I like location of hotel. It is near Umeda Station. Streets around the hotel are lively with a bunch of restaurants and shops. Room was fine, sink in bathroom could be bigger.  Breakfast was ok.

We did not fully understand how room cleaning is functioning. I think it cloud be briefly explained during check in. Also, vending machines are weird. They only vash for 30 minutes. When I added more money with attention to prolong the time, it just took it and did nothing.  So, I needed to add more money again after it finished. As I see everybody was starting mashine twice because of the short cleaning time.

Easy to find. Good breakfast. Clean. Good kettle for tea and coffee. Good inhouse information on the tv with regards to how crowded the restaurant was.

Tight crowded feeling in reception and because the attempt is being made to make each guest do their own self checkin I felt it was as impersonal and unfriendly as buying a train ticket. Lobby is very small and crowded at the time I arrived. The room was tiny with no space for opening a suitcase so i had to block the tight entrance way with my luggage. This makes for a danger if one needs to get out of the room in an emergency and access to the bathroom was awkward.

Everything was brilliant, Osaka is an amazing place and the hotel and stay added to that. The location was perfect for us, easy to find, close proximity to the stations and connections to the various routes / attractions. The area was quiet and had various amenities (Family Mart / 7 Eleven) within very close walking distance. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and shower was very powerful. The bed was firm and we found it comfortable, the room was adequate for us, we had two large suitcases and managed to use the space comfortably. The various supplies provided at reception such as face creams etc were all very good products. We didn’t opt for breakfast at the hotel as we wanted to go out and try the various options available. The hotel did allow for a small fee to have tea and coffee. The staff were very helpful and even went out of their way to provide scissors and sellotape as we required it to pack some things before leaving.

Good facilities with onsen

Didn’t love the location, had to catch cabs each time to get into Dotonburi so wouldn’t stay again based on the location

Location of the hotel is a little bit away from public transport which did at first present a problem. We booked the hotel because the other options didn't look any better (we didn't want to be in the downtown tourist area) and the one hotel which we had stayed at before because of its good accessibility had been a disaster. The accessibility issue here was that we were arriving in Osaka Station and we had to find a wheelchair friendly route through the underground maze which is Umeda (because it was pouring with rain). Once at the hotel check in was easy but the wheelchair posed a problem as although we could get it in through the room door there was an obstruction which prevented it getting into the actual room. In all fairness to the hotel although I had advised them that we had a wheelchair I had not given specific details so we had to upgrade to a bigger room. This was accomplished speedily and at a fair cost so I would compliment the hotel on its assistance. The size of room and its appointment were excellent as was breakfast and once we had cracked the Umeda maze it was remarkably close to transport. And the pillows were good.

We were at the back of the hotel. The front faces on to a major elevated road so it may be slightly noisier. Our room was absolutely silent.

I love the happy hour event at the lobby bar, it gave me and my family a great time together after walking around all day. And I want to give the hotel a heartfelt thanks because I left my wallet at the room but they kept it for me. My wallet accidentally fell off and went under the bed. I called the hotel and asked them to look for it, and they not only found it but also kept it safe. I’ve already left Japan but luckily had a friend who was in Osaka, I asked my friend to pick it up for me. The hotel was very cautious that they checked my friend’s identity and asked her to video chat to ensure that my wallet was safely returned. Thank you so much for saving me the trouble to reissue everything in my wallet!

The public bath could be crowded, and might be better if staff can check and clean the hot bath pool every few hours.

Very clean , great breakfast and friendly staff - loved the shower pressure :) If you are prepared for smaller rooms and slightly off location this is the hotel for you!

The location : you need to walk for 12-10 minutes to the central station - We knew that in advance- and planned for it - but absolutely something that should be taken under consideration when booking in case you need to walk with heavy luggage etc. The rooms are very small- If that is something important for you you should think about it- we couldnt open our luggage on the floor :)had to be moving it on the bed and then under the bed. completely fine for a couple of days but could be an issue if you stay longer.

Wow what a great hotel. Highly recommend staying here while in Osaka. The rooms were large for Japan standards. The happy hour and free coffee teas were a great bonus and worth the stay alone.

The onsen was a bit dirty, the water had a film on it. I witnessed a foreigner just jump into the pool without bathing first. Better instructions in more languages (Russian/German/French) might help. The bed was the hardest we slept on while in Japan, woke up several times feeling numb in places and felt like I was developing pressure ulcers.

This hotel is outstanding in every aspect an hotel could offer.. the room was always very clean and the cleaning staff were always smiling and friendly.. The reception staff were also very welcoming and very helpful indeed.. nothing seemed too much trouble.. the room itself was very clean and comfortable. The was an added bonus that just a few feet away from the hotel was a metro station.. very handy indeed.. the hotel also offered a breakfast service and although I didn't try the facility was there.. tea, coffee and fruit drinks were also offered free of charge withing the breakfast area for most of the day.. this hotel is HIGHLY recommended.. I would love to return there one day
