The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the train station. There are many restaurants, convenience stores, and a Donki nearby. The room is relatively large. The bathroom and the toilet are separated. The facility is clean. The coin laundry is of high quality and is cheap. There are also scales at the lobby for weighing suitcases and our weights.

One point to note is that the train station, Juso Station (十三), is part of the Hankyu Railway (阪急電鉄). If you are going to the Central Osaka Area, such as Shinsaibashi (心斎橋), Namba (難波), Nihonbashi (日本橋), or Tennoji (天王寺), you need to change to the Metro at either Umeda (梅田) or Minamikata (南方), and the transportation fee will be higher.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel during our trip to Japan, and for us it was convenient. It's just next to Juso station which is operated by JR, so as we had a JRpass it was convenient for us to go on an excursion to Nara. However, you waste a lot of time to visit Osaka, since it's far from all the interesting touristic areas, and you have to go 1-2 stations with the train to reach the metro stops, so it could take from 40-80 minutes to get to some of the touristic neighbourhoods in Osaka. The rooms are very spacious and beds are comfortable.

They clean rooms only 3 times per week, but I would expect that they do a thorough cleaning when a room is checked out before the arrival of new guests. At our arrival the toilet seats had dry pee stains on them. This is a business hotel, so don't expect coziness or breakfast. The staff at reception were always very busy and hard to approach, did not welcome us and simply pointed at a self-Check-in computer where we added our data and the keycards were given automatically by the machine.

The location is just a 5-minute walk from the train station. The area has many stores. The room was big, with plenty of space. The value for money was excellent.

The only thing I did not like was that cleaning the rooms is being done only three times a week, and if you want to clean the room during the days you are staying, it's an extra charge. The same goes for ordering food - you must pick it up yourself. If the delivery goes to your room, they charge you extra. And lastly - the checkout is at 10:00, if you are late for checkout, they charge you automatically

It is in easy walking distance of the station, and there is a convenience store right around the corner. The staff are very friendly and efficient, English was no problem! The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well suited for my admittedly basic needs. The shower had good water pressure.

I will say the terms and services book in the room had incorrect pricing in article 9 for late check out. When I asked at the front desk about doing so I received higher prices than was listed in the book. Hopefully that will be fixed to avoid confusion.

Perfect location to use as a base for visiting the wider Kansai region - Jūsō station is a stone's throw away and offers quick and easy access to Kōbe and Kyōto (not to mention that unlike JR, the Hankyū line takes you straight into the center of Kyōto). The only reason you might want to avoid this area would be if you have a JR rail pass or intend to visit Ōsaka primarily. The price was incredible, especially given the generous room size compared with similar hotels. Staff are very friendly and checking in and out was easy.

This hotel is surrounded by a number of run-down love hotels, but it's nothing like a red-light district and the area feels very quiet and safe, day and night. I wouldn't hesitate booking here again. WiFi suffered from frequent and protracted lag and could be improved.

Wonderful stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful in accommodating our requirements. The check-in process was brief, the room is quite spacious considering Japanese standards. Room was cleaned well, and the amenities provided daily is as expected of Japanese hotel standards. All the amenities were high-quality. 2 supermarkets are conveniently located a minute-walking distance. Bus stations aren't far (also 1-2 minute walk) that has access both Osaka & Shin-Osaka. If quick access to these train stations is a top-priority, then I would not recommend this hotel since it takes 10-20 minute to get to the station depending which one, and the busses are frequent (every 10-20 minutes)

Lantana offered a big, comfortable and clean room. The staff were lovely and professional. We had our luggage and online order sent from another hotel and Lantana received them on our behalf. They were in the room on the day we checked in. Great service.

We arrived before the check in time, and the room was available. All other hotels had let us check in early free of charge. There was an extra charge from Lantana hotel to check in under 2 hours early. We paid in order to get to the room but it was odd to have to pay extra.

- Very big room in comparison to Japan standards. Separate toilet, wash basin area, bathtub and shower area. So, when one is using toilet, the other one can get ready, thus saves time. - Great hospitality by the reception staff. One gentleman even too extra efforts and greeted customers in their native language. All of them were polite welcoming and approachable. - Work space, Hi-Speed internet and all amenities that you can think of for a comfortable stay was present in the room. - Train station is 4-5 minutes walk away. 2-3 station away to get to city centre. - Great neighborhood with many restaurants, supermarkets, 7-Eleven and Family mart. There was even Don-Quijte store at a radius on 3-4 minutes' walk which is open until 1AM. - Microwave is available at the reception area for guests use with spare cutleries.

- The only downside is that the cleaning is carried out only on Mondays and Fridays. So if your check-in is on Monday for 4 nights, there won't be any housekeeping. However, we were instructed to place the waste bins and towels outside the door before 11AM and hotel staff were kind enough to clear the thrash and provide new towels and amenities every day. So, it wasn't an issue for us.

We loved this hotel. Juso does not have many things to offer in the evening, but you can still get great food around the station. Station about 5min walking and trains leave every few minutes to go to Osaka Umeda. Spacious rooms, super clean, bath and shower, quiet but close to the city center.

As in nearly all of Japan: The level of English at the reception is for some staff limited, but they are extremely helpful with the little translator machine. You will always manage to get your point across.

The double room was big. Neat and clean room and communal spaces. Convenience stores nearby. Comfortable bed. All the necessary amenities were provided. Welcoming staff with decent English. Despite the location, I still felt safe around the area.

The location: the area the hotel was in was questionable, it was hard to find, and the nearest station is not the most convenient for travelling around the area.
