Staff ,Cleanness , location

That I paid high price because it had bath on 14th floor, however , was not allowed to wear bathing suit. In order to use it had to be naked. Well that was not suitable with me or my culture. They should specify on every site that been naked at the bath spa is a MUST. Therefore I, as a customer , was at lost. They should be flexible about that requirement, and make it an option. Don't understand what the problem is. Is it something religious? Disappointed 😞

I think they don’t sell this well enough when they say it’s near universal studios. Your literally staying right if the metro in Universal City walk. You can just walk to Universal 2-3 minutes only because your walking through City walk. The corner view twin room with the view of hogwarts castle was great. I’m said our king delux room did not have a view of Hogwarts. However, the two king rooms we had did have great views of the river. Wish they let us upload multiple photos. There are multiple Lawson’s, 7 Elevens, Ramen, Bubba Gump Shrimp, Wolfgang Pizza, Universal Mario and other stores, and other Universal Studios City walk restaurants right outside less than 1-2 minute walk.

The king bed was two twin beds pushed together.

Superior king room was superb. Clean and bed was comfy especially after walking 20,000 steps Bed was more than roomy 3 adults could easily sleep in this bed comfortably. If you have alot of luggage, this is definitely not the room for more than 2 people since we had use the sofa bed to put our luggage up and out of the way, which was not a problem. Location is idle for train and late night eating since city walk stay open until 10pm. There is 2 Lawson and a 711 also on city walk for those late night snacking. We love this hotel. The bath is deep so you can soak after a long day. You can either take train or the airport limousine bus to get to the hotel. We have done both just note the limousine bus doesn't start until 9am so if you have a morning flight you'll need take the train to airport Trains gets very crowded in am to airport make sure you get on the part of the train that goes towards airport because at some point the one train splits and goes two separate ways .

Breakfast could be more of a variety from day to day but overall was great food

Great hotel with excellent value for money. The room is larger than the average hotel room in Japan. The breakfast is decent, though Asian-style and the same every day. We especially loved the Japanese onsen on the 14th floor — clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need, even facial fluid. It’s very convenient to get to any attraction in the city, and of course, it’s just 5 minutes from Universal Park. We were happy with everything. Highly recommended!

The room could have been cleaned a bit better — there was some dust, and the sofa had a few stains; a deep cleaning would be a good idea. It would also be nice to add some variety to the breakfast, maybe switch up a couple of dishes throughout the week.

Walking out of Universal and being at the hotel within 2 minutes is the best feeling. Staff and rooms very nice as well.

The SkySpa is a gendered Onsen, which we didn't realise until we got there. That's on us, and we understood and accept this tradition, but it is still disappointing as none of us are interested in doing that. Would have been nicer if that was made a little more clear.

My son and I stayed here for 2 nights in January 2025. Everything was perfect. The room, the coziness are exactly as they were described and pictured in Booking.com. The room was clean and all the amenities provided are functional and practical. The location was superb. Just a few steps from the Train station and a lovely short stroll to Universal City Walk and to USJ. Coin laundry is provided at the same floor as the Onsen facility, and there was a seating/waiting room with large glass window with a stunning view of the bay. There are vending machines as well. So if you short of coin for the coin laundry like I was, buy something from the vending machine and voila! I decided to use the Onsen while waiting for my laundry. The Onsen is separated between genders and you must not have tattoo. Considering it was my first time being naked with strangers, I feel rather comfortable and I had an amazing experience.

The sky spa is a great view for visitors, fantastic for photo taking and the vending machines were so convenient. The washer dryer was a nice touch, although it did take a few tries for my clothes to officially be dry. The sauna was an interesting experience,You must be fully naked to enter. I was glad to see that you needed a key to enter the building and move to another floor of the hotel. The walking distance from CityWalk was such a great way to enjoy the restaurants, convenient store (with currency exchange -24 hours open) & also universal studio-without the hassle of finding a train or taxi. Housekeeping did an outstanding job up keeping the room when we left on our adventures.

The only issue really was the bathroom in the room did have an offputting smell. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel.

breakfast can be very busy, we stayed 4 nights the breakfast didn’t change so got tiresome. spa and onsen does not accomodate tattooed people. I understand it’s a cultural thing however this is a hotel next to a very popular heme park attracting many international travellers.

It was great. Clean, modern, close to the train station and close to the park. Check in was smooth and easy as was check out. They took our bags hours before check in and had them waiting in our room for us. We brought takeout into our room for dinner and didn’t want to keep food garbage in the room so we called down to the front desk to find out where we could throw it away. Moments later someone came to take our garbage for us.

I have zero complaints. If I had to be picky I would say in our room there were four sets of slippers, four sets of pajamas, four sets of tooth brushes but only four sets of towels. Which I didn’t understand. We were only three people so it was okay but to be honest I would have liked the extra towel to dry my long hair and because there was four of everything else I don’t understand why there weren’t four towels. But it was fine I made due with one towel and I’m sure I could have gotten another towel had I asked so that doesn’t take away from the quality of the hotel. Previously we had stayed at a different Universal city hotel which was also great but I think next time we visit we will stay here again. It was a really great value for the price we paid.

Stayed at Singulari for 3D2N. Perfect decision for a trip to USJ. Reached hotel at ~9PM. From Itami airport take a Bus departing at ~730PM to Osaka station, then take the train to Universal City. Hotel was clean, but crowded breakfast - lots of ppl woke up early to beat the USJ queue. Breakfast was ok with choices of fruits (sunkist, melons, lychees), rice, spaghetti, salad and others. Hotel staff was helpful, was also able to send my luggage to next hotel in Kyoto and arrived the next day (need to send before 11am) and cost ~JPY2500 (my luggage was medium size). Should definitely go for the public bath outdoor onsen with sky view after a long tiring day at the USJ.

My bed was supposed to be king size but turns out it was 2 single beds sricked together hence there's the line in the middle which was annoying.
