Literally 3 steps away from the train line. The hotel is beautiful, clean and modern. Good size rooms. The most comfortable beds in our entire trip through Japan. The staff were exceptional. The best service we experienced on our trip. We dropped our bags before check in to go and sight see - when we returned at the appropriate check in time - bags were already in our room. We went outside on a rainy day - not realising the weather, and stood on the street planning to turn back to our hotel to collect our umbrellas, when a staff member ran out with complimentary umbrellas for us. Always helpful with our questions, always a smile and a hello when we passed by. Location of the hotel is 5 minute walk to Osaka harbour, aquarium, and ferris wheel Lots of restaurants and convenience stores around too.

The location of the hotel is little outisde the centre of Osaka. So there are no direct trains. You will always have to change trains, to get to any planned locations. This did not bother us at all because the hotel was so worth it. But is worth a mention.

The service was superb. One of us sustained a leg injury while on holiday, and we sought the hotel reception's advice for a clinic or hospital. I regret not getting his name but one staff member in particular helped us tremendously. He sourced a hospital with a medical interpreter, though unfortunately the interpreter was not available that day. As an alternative we asked where we could buy crutches, which we eventually ordered from Amazon and had delivered to the hotel. The hotel staff including other receptionists continued to enquire after our well-being till check out and beyond. The room was excellent — roomy and beautiful. Lighting was well done. Large comfortable bed, though the pillows could have been better. The toilet was also fantastic, with the toilet bowl, sink, and shower/bath in separated areas. Shower included a stool for sitting down (which was most helpful due to the leg injury). Breakfast consists of baked goods like croissants, doughnuts, etc. and was tasty.

Pillows were on the small side. Hotel was very strict about breakfast hours. We saw on hotel website that breakfast ends 10am and went down at 9:40am, however the cafe sign said 9:30am and we were turned away.

We choose hotel Sails because it was only two metro stops from the Expo 2025 and the metro station was right in front of the hotel. We had a very large room with a table and 4 chairs and a couch at back side of the hotel. We were very happy with this since the rooms at the front side of the hotel probably hear every metro arriving every few minutes. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean. Easy to do your own laundry.

The breakfast was so simple that we picked up food from the convenience store the next few days. very disappointing after reading the reviews. Although we liked our room and that we could open the window at night, we didn’t like the milky glass so we could not look outside. After opening the windows we understand why, rundown apartment block and a rundown garden would have been the view.

I truly can’t think of anything we didn’t like. The location is great! It’s convenient to buses and trains, it’s walking distance to the aquarium, and it’s surrounded with good food. The rooms are a really decent size and exceptionally clean. The staff were all super lovely. The only thing I will mention is that the breakfast is more of what I would consider a continental breakfast, it was primarily pastries. If you are needing something heartier then you’ll need to go somewhere for that. However they do have a fantastic coffee machine that has excellent options! I was very impressed with the coffee here. Overall a great stay!

love it. Just a short walk from train station and you can take a free ferry or the train to USJ under half an hour. It is not walking distance from USJ but you can clearly see its location from Google map. So I don’t agree with another reviewer that it had misleading information. The Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The place is spotless, very huge compared to other hotels in Japan. Very lovely bathrooms! Beds are very comfortable. The place is very quiet and peaceful despite next to the main road. Great blackout curtain and sound-proof glass. Breakfast is simple with pastries, tea, coffee and juice. Quite a few small shops and restaurants nearby. Just Walking distance to Ferris wheel and aquarium.

Very convenient location next to train station, short walk to aquarium and shopping center with lots of food options, and 20 min taxi to Universal Studios. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Property felt brand new - modern and spotless. Room was spacious with plenty of room for our family of 4. They welcomed us with a canvas tote and water bottle to celebrate their 2-year anniversary which was unexpected and very generous - much appreciated! I also love that they did not charge extra for children, and cleaned the room daily, unlike the other properties we stayed at.

Pillows were not the most comfortable would be my only suggestion for improvement, but they were fine for the 3 nights we were there.

Rooms were clean, modern, and large! The hotel is very quiet. The coin laundry machines are nice and cleaned my clothes well and the location is very close to the train station. I stayed here for the 2025 Expo and it was very convenient to go to the expo and go home! The staff were very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was mostly sweets but the matcha latte was very good.

The bidet was not usable. It was dirty and had poop stains and mildew on it. It was surprising because everything else was so clean. Mattress is hard and the AC is not the best.

Customer service and staff was super friendly, always greeted with a smile whenever walking by and always ready to help! Breakfast was free but just okay - your usual bread and pastries, moderate variety - but having complimentary drinks was a nice way to return to hotel with a cuppa. We stayed in a 3-bedroom room, it was very spacious (which can be difficult to find in Japan accom), clean and comfortable. Very happy with staying here

It's a bit of extra travel to and from if your main activities are located at central Osaka, but this wasn't too much of an issue as train station is right outside the hotel with easy access.

We stayed at this hotel as a family of three and had a fantastic experience. On the first day, we explored Osaka, and on the second, we visited Universal Studios. The location is perfect—right next to the train station and just a 10-minute taxi ride from Universal Studios, making it incredibly convenient. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, offering plenty of comfort after a busy day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, ensuring we felt right at home. Breakfast, while a bit limited in options, leaned heavily towards sweet treats and lacked a variety of healthy choices. That said, if you’re traveling with kids, they’ll definitely enjoy it! Overall, a great choice for families visiting Osaka and Universal Studios!

I would love to see a wider selection of bread, fruit, and yogurt offered at breakfast to enhance the variety and overall experience.
