We were very pleasantly surprised by this smallish boutique hotel. The staff, location and larger room size were great but it was also one of the lower cost offerings in Susukino. I congratulate the management for their professionally run establishment. Snow sports enthusiasts might like; front door bus transport to 3 different ski centres, free waxing room, free parking, free coffee/tea and free open bar for 30 minutes each day of your stay. It is in the heart of the shopping district and next to the famous fish market with abundant eateries nearby.

Location is great, walking distance to odori station (doable with 3 kids including a 1yo in winter). Also near odori park for a quick jaunt. Good size for a hotel in Japan. Baby cot provided was perfect. Other kids amenities (including toys and childrens pajamas!) available on request. Coffee and tea in the lobby. Also free lounge use every afternoon with drinks and snacks tho we didn't get a chance to enjoy it. Will definitely stay again!

Would be great to have laundry on site or even in the room, as provided by some Japanese hotels. Not a must but nice to have especially with young kids

The location was great! Close to all amenities with great access to the subway from several entrances. We were on the 4 floor at the back at first. The room only had indirect light so was too dark for us - this room would suit a night person who likes to sleep in. However, as day people we asked to be moved to a room with more direct sunlight and the staff accommodated us on a higher level same room layout.

Our first room - the second was excellent. The breakfast was a bit bland but did the trick for nutrients and energy.

Breakfast was great - a nice mix of Japanese and Western breakfast foods. I’m usually not keen on Japanese-style breakfasts, but some of the dishes were SO GOOD!! The Night Lounge is a great feature…very generous, very enjoyable. The onsite parking lot was very cool! So convenient, too!

The ONLY thing I wasn’t happy about was that our ‘double bed’ was actually two single beds that had been pushed together. This makes it quite uncomfortable to sleep on or near the middle of the bed as my partner and I like to do.

Amazing location, you can walk to the fish market, shopping area, night life area, and Odori Park. It is also convenient to many metro stations. We loved the 30 minute happy hour, they had a ton of different types of alcohol. The room had a huge bed.

No laundry I went to the hotel they have a partnership with but they only had two 4.5 KG machines. I then walked to the coin laundry place ten minutes away.

Location is close to everything that we wanted to visit & public bus to Sapporo Beer Museum Plenty of restaurants nearby Hotel also hv lounge with drinks or make your own cocktails & snacks which is a nice way to unwind after getting back to hotel. Each family can only stay 30mins but if there's no other ppl around it is ok to stay a little longer. Friendly staff

The location was good. There's also a lounge from 4PM to 11PM with some small snacks and drinks (for free!) There's also a coffee machine that you can access the whole day (I think from 6am??) The staff were also nice. You can also ask to change to another shampoo or conditioner that is available in the front desk.

The breakfast is a bento that you will take from the front desk every morning and eat at your room (maybe because of covid.) The bento was really nice, except that it's the same set every other day and so after some days I got a bit tired of it.

The staff were attentive and kind while trying their best despite the language barrier from English to Japanese

The only one downside (which was not an issue for me particularly but could be a problem for someone else) is that the bidet in the toilet of my room did not work and appeared to be broken upon inspection

Hotel location just right in front Nijo market and Tanuki Koji Street 2. very convenient for food & shopping. the free drinks session is an advantage for traveler, have variety of choices. Hotel a little out date but room size is large enough to open 2 big suite case.

Breakfast is simple and the free drink session 30mins is too short for enjoying.

I've been to WBF twice before and they are the best hotels in Japan by far. Friendly staff, all kinds of amenities, plus room is absolutely great. I did work while I was there so I really needed the space and quit. Perfect room and perfect hotel.

There is absolutely nothing I didn't like. I will try to go to any WBF I found available while in Japan.
