Right on Odori Park next to Sapporo TV Tower. Walking distance to tons of places including about 15 minutes to Susukino (Sapporo's Entertainment District). Typically small rooms for Japan, but stylishly done. Staff was amazing! Amy went way out of her way to help me find a great sushi place for dinner as my preference was fully booked. She spent a ton of time and found a world class place. Very relaxed and stylish bar area (with $15 AUD glasses of good champagne). Easy check-in/out. Just a great experience.

The airporter bus wasn't the easiest as it drops you about 4 blocks away, but you can take a train and transfer to get off at Odori Station which is basically under the hotel.

I loved the style and comfort. Woodwork, photos on the wall, wood carvings in the hall gave a strong sense of Hokkaido. About a 15 minute walk from the station, through the underground passage. Convenient to stores and restaurants. I loved the turntable and vinvyl record in my room. A wonderful touch. I stayed for 5 nights and it felt like home. Will definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was poor. Cold egg, day old pastries, limited selection. Over-priced. Not a problem because there are so many other options for breakfast in the area, but it is too bad that the breakfast isn't better, considering the high quality of the hotel. I had no problem with the lack of a TV, but this may turn off some guests.

I had an incredible stay at The Royal Park Canvas Sapporo. The flexibility and accommodating nature of the staff made everything so easy and stress-free. The facilities are absolutely amazing — modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The location is perfect — centrally located and close to shopping, restaurants, and transport options. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapporo. I would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved the design of the room and hotel in general; truly gorgeous without sacrificing comfort or quality. Unbeatable location that’s basically connected to the train station and mall(s) + across the street from the TV Tower and park. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff with easy check-in/out.

Extremely small thing but the framed art over the bed flexes and moves ever so slightly when the AC/heat is on, which caused it to click and pop loudly every few seconds until I stuck an earplug behind it to create a gap between it and the wall. Again, very dumb and I feel silly bringing it up, but if it happens to you, just stick something back there and you’re good!

One of the BEST hotels I’ve stayed at! We went around the Christmas season so we loved it that the Christmas market was right in front of us! There was also underground access to the train station right in front of the hotel so you don’t need to walk in the cold. The lounge area on the 2nd floor was absolutely fancy and I loved the breakfast at the French restaurant on the ground floor. The room is a bit cramped but we knew that when we booked the room, but I love that the shower area is spacious and there was great water pressure. The shower/bath area is separate from the toilet as well.

Lets talk about the 500 JPY coupon. You can get this coupon when you dont have room cleaning service. We used the coupon for drink at hotel's bar. LOVE IT!!!! The view from this hotel either from the room, the lobby, the rooftop are all STUNNING!! This is a great location if you like jogging at the Odori park Highly recommend.

Great location right next to subway entrance. Lovely view of Sapporo Tower. Room big enough. Rooftop bar and view fun. Staff we did interact with were very nice.

Wish room had wardrobe or hanging rail rather than the flat rail with hooks as habging clothes got in way of entrance. No coffee in the room and no iron either. Washing machine was available but no matter when we went, it was being used, so we never managed to do our laundry during our 3 day stay. No TV. The self service check in on the second floor felt impersonal and having to go there to get water etc was a bit of a pain. Missed having someone to welcome us or say hello when we left or arrived back after a day out as we bypassed reception in lift to room.

Perfect location! Right next to the tv tower, and subway. Few minutes walk from the center where there are lots of shopping and restaurants. The room was so beautiful! We arrived from Kyoto where the rooms are tiny, and here they were bigger. You had a record player in the room that really sets the mood! We didn’t have breakfast but it looked very Japanese style. And the rooftop- oh my god!!!! So cosy and lovely. They had fireplaces and sitting decks. You can get marshmallows and roast theme in the fire. Very sweet atmosphere

The location was excellent. It is close to the bus stop which makes it so helpful to reach the place after a flight. Its opposite the Sapporo tower. Its a pleasant walk to the Beer Garden and the downtown markets. Everything is within walkable distance. The hotel is a regular business hotel with polite staff. We used to get a fantastic breakfast from the bakery next door.

I wish I had taken 2 rooms as the sofa bed, although comfortable took up most of the space. One room really cannot be shared by a family of 3. It gets very congested.

Overall convenience of location and small things in room like outlet locations. Heated, Japanese toilet is always a plus (although the norm). Great bathroom, shower, and view of the tower! Restaurant, rooftop (bar), and lower bar also exceeded expectations (we purchased breakfast, which was so authentic and fresh). Free amenities to grab as often as needed ie bottled water, bathroom items like cleansers, face masks, tooth paste..

Room felt smaller than advertised (shower was massive, the actual room could have used that space). I don't remember there being a desk, for example. As intl travelers, we had large luggage, which was difficult to move around. There was small storage under the bed, which would have worked for smaller bags.
