The onsen was our favorite part of this hotel. After a full day walking and exploring the sights, it was so relaxing to take a dip in the onsen. (If you're a first timer, I recommend to read up on onsen etiquette first, as this is a public onsen.) There's also a sauna, cold plunge, lockers, and dressers. Afterwards, we went up and lingered at the lounge area overlooking Sapporo city. Rooms are good enough size for Japan standard. Clean and new hotel. Hotel is an 8-minute walk to JR Sapporo station if you pass through the North Exit / Bus Terminal. Convenient that there's a FamilyMart beside the lobby, a money changing machine, and a coin-operated laundry machine at the 25th floor.

The facility is new and the in-room wifi is extremely good. The onsen is superb.

Some staffs are not very helpful and there was a communication problem in English. The onsen was super crowded, even in weekdays!! There is no free wifi in common area in the lounge on 25th floor.

Onsen every day! The size of the corner room was good. Family Mart attached to the hotel and a drug store across the street were 2 pluses. The lounge "with a view" was a very relaxing area to chill in between activities.

Not to sound like the Ugly American, however, the front desk staff did have some challenges with English - very untypical of the Granbell hotel in Shinjuku (previous stay). As other(s) have noted, the bathroom could use better lighting for practical applications - and the tub could use some safety grab bars. If you are looking to be in the middle of Sapporo, this is not the location for you. Several taxi drivers did not know where the hotel was, however, I was able to direct them OK using Google maps.

It was a very new hotel and close to Sapporo station. We had a corner room on level 21 which had floor to ceiling windows - amazing views. The pillows were great and the beds really comfortable. Really large room - ample space for suitcases. A convenience store conveniently situated in the lobby

We arrived 10 or 15 minutes before check in time but because there were staff at the check-in desk, we thought it was ok to check-in. The staff member was very unfriendly and told us to wait - a visible sign stating "Check-in is strictly after 3pm" instead of this unfriendly encounter would be preferable. Having frequented many onsen and bathhouses I was particularly looking forward to the communal bathhouse on the roof. Unfortunately it was very busy and felt unclean. The floors were very slippery and felt slimy. Although we stayed for 4 nights I couldn't bring myself to return.

The highlight of our stay was the breakfast each morning. It was absolutely delicious, with more selection than we knew what to do with. So many delicious local vegetables, regional dishes. It was really outstanding. The rooms were very nice, clean, and comfortable. The gym was sufficient, and the lounge for the spa & onsen was so relaxing, with an amazing panoramic view of the surrounding city and mountains beyond. Moreover, the location of the hotel is perfect. A quick walk to Sapporo Station, and we walked from the hotel to almost all of the places we wanted to visit with ease. We can't wait to come back again in the future. The staff was wonderful, overly accommodating, and professional.

The lighting in the bathroom wasn't great, but it didn't impact any ability to enjoy our stay.

Roof top onsen has several hot bath. 26th rest area is big and have beautiful view.

Located outside busy area, 10min walk min to shopping area, but on my last day realise there's pharmacy and supermarket opposite. Gym is located on 26 where you need to take off shoes and bring up and put on from 25th but sign is not clear so had see others just walk with shoes in onsen floor 25th floor … Room not clean unless you stay more than 3 days… this was not stated when booking at all. Only 3 washing machine available for the whole hotel!!

Booked 3 rooms together with family. Very clean and spacious. Liked that there was a separate sofa and plenty of room to open big luggage plus shopping bags. Loved that there was a pharmacy opposite the hotel and convenience stores at hotel lobby and another around the corner. Indoor onsen was convenient but crowded. Near to car rental offices too. There was a playground just outside the hotel and my niece enjoyed it.

Not all the staff are friendly if you can't speak Japanese. Think that this is more of a teething issue as they are quite new. Overall staff still try to help. If you have small children or come during winter, you may not want to walk from JR station as it may be a little bit far. Otherwise, with friends/family who don't mind the walk, it's ok.

We enjoyed our stay wholeheartedly. It’s a brand new property strategically located within 10 mins of (slow) walk from the central station, the room looked like no one lived before us in it. The rooms are not spacious, but ergonomic and convenient. The automatic check in experience was quick and efficient. The staff was friendly and helped us with luggage delivery to another hotel. They provide you with the most comfortable pajamas - I even wanted to buy smth similar somewhere. On the first floor they provide all the necessities to choose from - toothbrushes, vanity sets, razors and a great selection of teas. It’s great and sustainable that they don’t overpack the room with disposable things you might not need, but you can pick up anything you need from the stand on the first floor. The onsen is spacious, nicely designed and has great views. Buffet breakfast has both Asian and European options - and a great variety of options to choose from.

The coin laundry is a great feature (and you can check the availability status on the in-room tv!), but only 3 machines for a 24 store hotel was definitely not enough, and also 2 machines were broken, so only 1 was actually working. Also, lighting fixtures in the room and especially in the bathroom could have been better - they don’t provide enough lighting for doing make up or shaving.

New & clean hotel. Booked corner junior suite and to our surprise, it is very roomy with enough spaces to open luggages for 4 pax. Very well thought layout in the room. Bed, furnitures are very new & comfortable as it is a new hotel. Missing floor towel & requested via the room phone, very fast service as the towel came immediately.

many tour groups, tourists etc as it is a big hotel. Noisy with kids running around. Onsen is constantly overcrowded & not as clean vs other Japan hotels with onsen facilities. There was a fierce competition for coin laundry (only 3) with many people hogging & queuing up for it. Would be good if the hotel add more laundry machines in the future.

people in the reception have problems with their English. They also do not know basics of their job: my card was refused two times before I guessed that I need to put it inside rather than tap it - the lady at the reception just suggested that I use "another card". The breakfast is over-over-over crowded, sometimes you even have to wait to get in the breakfast room. I asked to send the bill as pdf over mail, still do not have it.
