Great location to get around Sapporo. The price was affordable for a solo traveller, and a reasonable value for money - which is why I chose Toyoko Inn! Free breakfast and good drinks. They also have an ice machine, which was funnily convenient because I sprained my ankle one day before, and the ice was helpful. Room was great, spacious and clean.

Breakfast didn’t get refilled enough. Almost no food was left at around 8:45am (15 mins before breakfast time ends). In other Toyoko locations, breakfast would still be available around that time.

Very clean, the facility is up to standard. Everything in the rooms is standard and great. The food is what you would expect for the price, no complaints, I don’t expect to be served gourmet, it’s a good breakfast.

I stayed when the hotel wasn’t packed so I had plenty of access to coin laundry and dryers but I can see it being a bit busy during peak season. Nit picking though, I thought it was great.

Free breakfast was included in the stay, with a little bit of variety everyday. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

A little difficult to drag luggage through the slippery road when it's snowing, got to be careful while walking and trying not to fall down. It would be great also if there's some indication on whether the meat served during breakfast was chicken, pork or beef.

The included in the room price Japanese breakfast was served buffet style, with guests required to don disposable gloves while serving themselves. Masks were required as well and if a guest wasn't wearing one, was told that a mask was required to partake. Breakfast items varied daily and included eggs, fish, pickled vegetables, boneless fried chicken, Japanese curry, rice, Japanese mixed rice, miso soup, sausage. Most items were warm or at room temperature, but there was a microwave oven available in the lobby area if one wished to heat their food. These were simple foods, perhaps giving one a taste of daily Japanese life.

The location was great as it is about a 5 mins walk to the Sapporo Train Station. It is also close to shopping areas and convenient stores.

The breakfast area is too open as it is in front of the reception and main door of the lobby.

It was very near to the Sapporo JR station which made it easier (and cheaper) to travel to other tourist spots. There was an underground shopping area/way to the Odori park which can protect you during the summer from heat, and winter from cold. A bit a lot of walking, but you’ll never realize you are already there.

This hotel is ideally located near Sapporo train station. The area offers plenty to explore, including Family Marts, shopping malls, and restaurants. The hotel breakfast is simple but good value for the price.

It's a good place for It's price. The rooms are higger than the inns in Tokyo and well insulated. The location is perfect.

Breakfast starts way too early and the smoke alarm has a bright green light

I have stayed in countless hotels, hostels and home-stays in my decades of traveling life, They always give at least one bottle of water. This hotel charged me over 16K for a night but didn’t give a single glass of water for free, no welcome drinks were given too. I was expecting some welcoming gesture after paying 16K for a night.

The location is near the Sapporo Train Station. Best breakfast, I love a hotel that serves big amounts of breakfast. Facilities are complete. The staff are nice.
