Great, authentic, and non-touristy location. A bunch of shops and restaurants. Easy to get to the airport on the direct line.

NO LAUNDRY at the hotel. Also, be aware that breakfast is not served at the hotel. Rather you need to walk a few minutes to a cafe near the subway station where you can select 1 of 4 simple breakfast meals (i.e. ham and cheese sandwich and coffee). I actually enjoyed having my breakfast outside and people-watching to start my day

The hotel is 5 minutes away from Ninghyocho metro station with direct connections to main sites of Tokyo: Asakusa, Akihabara, Shibuya, Shinagawa, both airports, etc. Lots of restaurants around as well as a few grocery shops. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The staff is very helpful.

1. The breakfast is simply BAD (served in cafe Excelsior). Choice from 4 "sandwiches" which look nice on the picture, but not that nice in reality. Every day. It was a torture for the kids, it was a torture for adults as well. One day only 3 types of "sandwiches" remained, shrinking the no-choice even more. I dont'recommend to apply for breakfast option - there are several cafe next to Ninghyoco station, so without "breakfast included", unlike us, at least you would have choice. 2. Very little rooms.

The hotel is located within 5mins walking distance near Ningyōchō station, in a seemingly residential area. There is one single lift serving 10 floors of the hotel, with most of the amenities located at the lobby. The check-in/out process is automated, with English speaking staff present to assist. Convenience stores are located right at the doorstep. The bedding and linen were great, and the room was at the adequate size for a single traveller. Luggage could be easily stowed away beneath the bed, and a small desk was provided for users.

The air-conditioning and heating in the room is centralised and is unable to be adjusted manually within the room. As such, there were times that the room felt stuffy and humid at night, which made the sleeping experience very uncomfortable.

Rooms are cosy, it was very comfortable. Good aircon. Loved they changed the yukata and towels everyday, and they provided coffee sticks and creams. Fridge in the room was really useful during my stay. Very close to the Airport Express line subway. Just 5 min walk. Perfect.

Rooms are a bit stuffy, since they are very small. There is missing a shelf where to place clothes. I kept everything in my luggage. They suggested to place the luggage under the bed, but I preferred to keep it just against the door.

Rooms are well equipped with toiletries, hangers and hooks making the space feel larger. Beds are comfortable but pillows not so much, I should have asked if they had a different style but I didn't. Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations, I recommend staying there. They allow you to leave your luggage before check-in.

The pillows are not the greatest. There was a pillow with a sponge like net, which I did not adapt to, and the other one had some beads inside, quite odd. AC centrally controlled, so we could not change it to match our preference. Luckily, it's wintertime, and I simply opened the window to cool down the room for a bit.

It was very clean, very good location and very comfortable. The staff is young and full of energy and a good attitude. They will help you in the best way they can. Language seemed to be a minimal barrier but it was by far the best service we had during our trip to Japan.

It's a bit unclear how the cleaning and garbage disposal works for a first timer in Japan. There were also conflictive room neighbors and while the staff tried to prevent them from forming a scandal, the conflict continued all night regardless.

The hotel is located quite close to Ningyocho station. The hotel feels quite luxurious, especially compared to the cost of the room. The itself was larger than other hotel rooms I've visited in Tokyo, there was enough space to comfortably open suit cases. One thing to be aware of is that the toilet seat is not heated. This is something that I'd gotten used to when visiting Japan in winter, and was sorely missed when it's not available. It's not a major issue, but this was the only hotel during my stay where the toilet seat was not heated.

For tourists out exploring all day who prefer a hearty breakfast, one toast is simply not enough.

I enjoyed my stay at APA Hotel Ningyocho Ekihigashi. The hotel location is great, the personnel are polite, and all the amenities have been provided. Price/Quality ratio met my expectations. I marked comfort level as good due to the fact the room is a standard small one suitable for 1 or 2 travelers.

The only thing I would mention is breakfast which is served at the nearby Excelsior Caffé. Compared to other hotels, including other APA hotels in Tokyo, breakfast was pretty much simple, still enough to start the day.

Great location in a quiet district in the vicinity of several stations from which you can get everywhere very comfortably. Helpful staff, impeccable cleanliness and all the amenities in the room.

The staff misinformed me about what day I should bring my baggage to them for it to be sent to the airport in time. That might be a language misunderstanding, and anyway I could leave everything in the hotel after check out for several hours no problem. The pillows were maybe the most uncomfortable we've had during the trip, my back started to hurt after a couple of nights.
