Staff stored and helped us with our many suitcases. Location is close to the station and a convenience store. Everything is clean. In the room there is a small fridge. Mattresses are firm but not super uncomfortable. Doona is warm. Reception has a microwave if needed. Easy space with kids and large groups.

Not a negative just important information: no lift, limited space in the room (we opened our suitcases on the bed and it was fine!). Small space in the bathroom but lucky you don’t spend much time in there!

We liked that our quadruple room is bigger than we expected since we know Japan has smaller than average room sizes. We liked the location since it was less than 5 minutes to walk to Inaricho train station (less busy station) and nearby restaurants and convenience stores. The room is super clean and each bed is comfy and exact size for 1 person. The private bathroom is clean and complete with toiletries and towels. They also provided glasses for drinking, water heater, refrigerator, and a lot of electric sockets and indoor slippers. The staff are accommodating although some don't speak English.

There is no elevator but fortunately our room was located at the ground floor. The taxi drivers are not familiar with the location of the hotel and it has the same name of another hotel located near Okachimachi Station. If there is luggage storage option, this would be perfect.

Really good value for money when you are on a tight budget. Convenient location being near several stations and a mini-mart round the corner. Having all 4 of us in the same room is handy. Used the washing machine and was told to hang them outside to dry was a bonus as everything was dried in under 24 hours. The beds were really comfortable and sheets were clean. Tiny bathroom but a small inconvenience greatly outweighed by the other advantages listed.

Small bathroom.

We were a family of 4 and stayed at the Green Hotel for two periods during our trip to Japan. During our first stay in Tokyo which was about a week, the room was pretty small, but expected. It was fine for our needs as the location was excellent and close to the Ginza Line Inaricho Station. For our second stay, which was for 2 nights, the room was located on the roof top and was much bigger. The beds were also much bigger. The bathroom was separate from the room (ie we had leave the room to access the bathroom), and it was a lot roomier than our previous room.

Our second room had remnants of a cigarette smell, and as others had noted this hotel did not have an elevator. We had rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor and heavy luggage, but the staff was helpful, and this note was expected just something we didn't like.

Very clean. All amenities needed available and comfortable. Great location, moments from 7/11, mini-stop on the way to Inaricho station for the Ginza line. Friendly and sincere service, had our luggage taken up to our room once it was ready after we did early drop off. They managed with only stairs too.

Very very small, little to no room for more than 3 ppl to move around or open suitcase. Noticed some dust settling in bathroom each day. Not sure where from but not a big issue.

Very close proximity to subway. One stop away from the Ueno Stationon the Ginza line (orange) or approx 15 min walking. Easy connection to and from Narita airport. Perfect for sleeping after all day on a town. Shoes are taken off before entering the reception area. On-site washer and dryer coin operated. Clothes will be damp after first dry cycle and will require additional drying time. Tiny bathroom - think bathrooms in the camper with the tiniest bathtub and showerhead possible - literary. All toiletries provided. No need to bring a toothbrush, toothpaste, comb etc. 24h convinince store 2 min away with great selection of breakfast and lunch snacks and drinks. Very little room for any luggage. No elevator. It's definitely not a 4-star hotel and won't work for everyone. You get location over luxury. Very friendly staff.

The room was quaint, had the essentials and a window. Location was great - super close to subway stations and in 5 min radius from 7-eleven, mini stop, lawson and family mart. The duo looking after the place were friendly and can speak Chinese as well.

The wet bathroom was really small and storage space in the room is limited by the size.

Very good location in Tokyo. Located close to a station. No curfew. Room was very good for 4 of us. Bed was very comfortable. Outlets were beside the bed. I love that the private bathroom is outside of the room. Complete bathroom amenities as well. Laundry and detergent were readily available.

We had to climb a narrow flight of stairs to get to the 4th floor.

Funky architecture in the room, with slanted columns cutting the room into two separate sections. But the bed space worked, and there were plenty of outlets and shelves for things like the hot water pot and fridge. Staff was very accommodating and let us bring suitcases a couple of days early and stored them so we wouldn't have to take them with us everywhere. Pretty easy access from Ueno Station, a walk but not too far, plus easy access to multiple konbinis and decent restaurants.

This hotel had the smallest bathroom of anyplace we stayed during this trip. Usable for showers, but uncomfortably so.

Location is great, close to Ueno MTR and another local train station. Room was fine and clean, our bed was just too small for us, we should have got 2 singles. We stayed on the ground floor which was good, because there is no lift, only stairs, was not noisy at night. Can walk to a lot of sights, good restaurants and 7/11s around.

There were people smoking right outside our window and the smell was coming in.
