While the rooms are small, they make great use of space and are very clean. We travelled as a family of 4. 2 adults, 11 & 13yrs. We stayed in a room max 6 comfort 4. I do think you could not sleep 6 unless very young children. Location was great close to trains, 7/11 and walking distance to Shinjuku centre. Easy check in and out process.

Upon entry there are stairs approx 8 to check in. I would be wary if people had a lot of luggage to take down or were elderly as they are quite steep. A very minor detail but a few tea bags/coffee would have been great to go with kettle/coffee cups.

The check in and check out option is easy. The place is very clean and uses every bit of space needed to have a relaxing stay. The beds are comfortable. The space is small but it’s exactly what is advertised. As a family of 5, and 5 luggages we didn’t feel too cramped. We spent most of our days outside, so the property is perfect for sleeping. Towels were changed regularly. There’s only a small refrigerator which is enough for a few drinks and maybe some food stuff. It’s a 15min walk to Shinjuku station, definitely doable. There’s a launderette nearby and a few market options.

Location is easy walking distance to restaurants and train. Staff are so friendly and welcoming when we see them for cleaning. We stayed 7n family of 6 and it was tight but definitely exactly as we expected and no complaints at all. So many 7-11 and close by for coffee / alcohol etc. beautiful shrine close by and cemetery. Supermarket close by which we purchase pre pack food for Disney. Very small fridge and not too cold so we bought ice to keep drinks cold.

The check in asked via email to send through passports photos and details which we did. But to check in with the code we had to enter photos again which was annoying.

Location was ideal, it was only a 3 minute walk to the closest station (Higashi-Shinjuku) via an underpass, and about a 10-15 minute walk to the heart of Shinjuku and Shinjuku station. Our room was the perfect size for three of us and the beds were very comfortable. The room was compact but it had everything we needed as we just wanted a base for the week. Check in was very easy.

We didn’t see a single member of staff at any point, which wasn’t a problem for us as we didn’t need any help at any point. It would have been good to have a vending machine on site for emergency snacks and water, but it is only a two minute walk to 7/11 so wasn’t a problem.

Very close to Subway station all the shops were near very clean easy to check in good communication

It was a little small for five adult adults to fit in bathroom is small too. As an American traveler do small for my comfort, but I guess for Japanese architecture it’s OK and the area we were living in this little pricey so it was acceptable. We were hardly in the hotel because we were always going out but when we come in, everything feels tiny. It’s more like Airbnb than a hotel. There’s no reception or staff of a scene although from messaging staff was very responsive.

Clever design and efficient use of space, perfect for a family of 5. Appreciated 2 separated sleeping areas. Quiet neighborhood, and the mattresses were probably the most comfortable of our trip. Very affordable option, with the tradeoff of being a bit further walk from a train station. However, it was still close enough we could walk home from dinner in Shinjuku.

While I appreciate that the place being unstaffed means more affordable rates, the check-in process was pretty tedious scanning passports and taking photos of 5 people (3 young kids!). However, we were able to access our room without difficulty.

Fantastic stay. The room was 3 fits max 5, and we were five adults. Was tight, but it worked! The price was so great it was more than worth it. Two spots of suitcases under the one bed and 4 cubby holes near the door we used to store our backpacks. The other larger luggage was kept in the walkway but didn't impede movement too much. Walking distance (7 minutes or so) walk to the subway station. There was a small elevator to go up and down and only two rooms per floor so not too crowded of a place. It was very quiet as night, but I didn't hear any noise from the road or other tenants. We stayed 7 nights and got a full clean on day 5, which was nice with daily replacement of towels.

It could have been a little larger but it did say MAX 5 in the posting so we can't complain. The only option for booking was non-refundable which removed some flexibility for changing plans.

Disappointed for receiving unpleasant notice to request us from keeping our noise down. We had been very conscious and cooperative, yet the staff accused our noise or disturbance. It's unpleasant to guests experience unnecessarily.

The hotel was very clean, fresh and modern. It was close to corner stores, restaurants and everything we needed as a family with a toddler. A quick walk to the station and straight into the heart of Shinjuku. Staying at this hotel gave us the best of both worlds, close to the bright lights , the huddle and bustle of the city but set in quiet suburban area , when we needed some down time. The temple behind the hotel, is also a nice little place to relax and stretch the legs.

The only 2 faults I have with the hotel is space (which I knew would be a problem) and the signs stating to be quiet. The space is very very small, which was fine for us as we weren’t staying very long and we literally just needed somewhere to sleep. But travelling with a stroller (very small travel stroller) and a very large suitcase made life a little awkward due to lack of space. Also the signs everywhere to be quiet were a little daunting. As a mother of a toddler I felt on edge whenever we were at the hotel, hoping that we were being quiet. It wasn’t easy to relax.

Location was close to Shinjuku action but far enough away to still be super quiet and settled for my little family. Room was cute and had good bedding for all the family. Compact but still room to move around (Room for 5, comfortable 3 - we wer 2 adults, 2 kids 7/10). Big TV with Netflix login available. Bathroom spacious for compactness of room/hotel. Great value for money. Close to metro stations and not too far from great bar/ shopping district. A little coin operated laundry about 25m left out the door and across the road, but some further away as per google. Out of the 3 hotels we stayed in Tokyo/Kyoto (both bigger name/larger hotel chains) our kids liked this one the best. Liked the Japanese fusion feel of room.

We weren't able to dispose of excess recycling but rubbish and recycling cleared every 3rd day so by the time we queried trash was removed the next day.
