Kind and helpful staff, spacious room and good array of amenities. Each doorman, receptionist and staff member we came across made us feel welcome throughout our stay and didn’t hesitate to help us whenever we had a request. We booked a Superior King Room and loved the layout and the fact that we had a bath. The bed was really comfortable and adjusting the temperature of the room was seamless (often times it’s hit or miss when it comes to changing the heating/fan control settings in hotels). The amenities were excellent and varied. Aside from the typical toiletries such as toothbrushes and slippers, we were provided with bath salts, relaxing herbal sheets for the body and soft feel dressing gowns. The hotel itself is just a few steps outside of Nagatacho Station (Exit 4), and we found it conveniently located for going out to explore the city. Its proximity to the station also meant we could get back to our room (from the station exit) in a matter of a minute or two after long days out - a big pro when your feet are tired from walking throughout the day.

Although it is located alongside a busy road, the double window provides great sound insulation. The room is spacious as well, with the complimentary minibar providing a nice touch of hospitality.

The pillows were really flat while the mattress is rock solid. They used a certain brand called airweave. Not as comfortable as the mattresses used in other equivalent standard hotels.

Everything at the Kitano was great, it felt like a 5 star hotel. we had the corner deluxe room and was ideal for us, very spacious and everything was perfect. The location was close to a metro station and cafe right next door. A 10 minute walk downhill to restaurants etc. we felt really spoilt staying at the Kitano, would definitely stay again!

One tip is taking a Japanese wriitten address of the Kitano with you when you go out as some taxi drivers took a bit to translate it from English

This hotel was outstanding! The staff bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable. (They added several duvets to our beds when I let them know the beds were a little hard for our smushy American bodies). The laundry room in the basement was a big plus and the hotel was perfectly located. 20 mins away from any big attraction but quiet and nice to come back to at the end of a busy day. The hotel is beautifully appointed without being too formal, uptight, or ostentacious. We will absolutely stay here again on our next rrip to Japan.

No complaints at all.

If you are used to travelling to Japan and the incredibly tiny hotel rooms, this is like a breath of fresh air. Spacious, plenty of amenities, complimentary bar fridge and a gorgeous hotel room. Western Travel with Japanese cleanliness and service!

Because space is a premium in Japan, the price is quite steep if you are used to western style rooms. This isn't to say it is not worth it, but it will be quite shocking. The location is very accessible and easy to find, but it is within a quiet district, so it is a reasonable walk to any nightlife.

We were there for a week so it was great to have such an enormous room with TWO closets, a bathtub, plenty of room to spread out. The amenity kits were the best stocked kits I've ever seen. The staff was polite and helpful, whether it was getting us a taxi or helping send our luggage via TA-Q-BIN. There was a metro stop right in front of the hotel which was nice since it was not the most lively area. But, that meant it was quiet.

The beds were pretty hard and the pillows were thin. But, that's Japan.

Very friendly helpful staff. They responded very quickly to our calls and requests from the room. Location is great, near 4 Metro lines. Modern quiet rooms. Amenities and toiletries in the room were luxurious: Nespresso machine, plenty of glasses and wine bottle opener, nice smelling shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bar soap, loofahs, shaving razor, hair accessories, etc. AC worked fantastically in summer heat and even had English mode. The fitness center was also well equipped, also had cold water machine, towels and disinfectant spray.

Super clean room and never seen the hotel that clean to meet my expectation. thank you for all the stuff members to try harder to keep this nice hotel so clean. Housekeeping will come around twice a day to check to see anything we need. This location need to use cab or subway to get around for sightseeing , but hotel is in the CENTER of Tokyo and you can get around super fast and easy all around Tokyo from North West East South. Stuff member will not judge you by who you are even this hotel is use for many high end of occupants. Top of the roof Bar is nice and Breakfast was great. The hotel make me feel very special with kind manner of service.

Down stair sushi shop can only use for people who can spend (Super rich customer ???!!!) 300 dollars for one person. Apparently they save the seat for who can pay the price and we cannot even sit and drink for a bit time in this hotel. I felt a little humiliated that I'm not able to use the shop inside the building. Doesn't matter how good sushi chef is, I'm not pay their rent for my visit. There are million sushi shops nearby and no need stuff yourself for 300 dollars worth sushi!

Staying at the Kitano was a beautiful experience. First, the staff are all top notch and very helpful, responding immediately to questions and requests. The hotel is extremely clean, well appointed and newly furnished. The view of Tokyo from our room on the 8th floor was gorgeous. This hotel is walking distance to the subways so the entire city of Tokyo is readily available via train or taxi. When we travel to Tokyo next time we will stay at Kitano again.

Nothing, it is as perfect as you can get.
