All the staff at the reception were very helpful, friendly and gave us warm customer service. They go all out to meet our requests and to ensure that our stay was an enjoyable experience. The location is excellent with the Monzen-Nakacho subway station just a couple minutes walk away and 3 train stops to Tokyo station. Perfect for families with kids as there are few playgrounds and parks nearby. There’s a pharmacy and Family Mart just round the corner. Many good restaurants, cafes, Family Marts and a couple of supermarkets very nearby. Couldn’t ask for a better location. The rooms are bigger than most hotels in Tokyo and the rooms we were in had a washing machine which is so handy.

The housekeeping can be improved.

Excellent location with plenty of restaurants and convenient shops. Near subway stations and reachable to most key tourists spots within 30 mins. Streets generally quiet and orderly. A couple of shrines nearby which made the New Year celebration gave a little festivities mood. Hotel is in good condition with coffee dispenser which was great. Staff were friendly and helpful and check in was smooth. Room size is decent at 170sqm which was just right for a couple with some room for luggages. Toilet is in good condition and clean. Water supply was strong and no leakages. Hot water was readily available when taking bath which was greatly appreciated. Always enjoyed the Japan toilet seats with gave nice and warm experience. Toiletary essentials were fully provided and cleaner was helpful in cleaning the room regularly by changing towels and clear rubbish etc. there are four rooms per floor so not noisy. There is a working area by the lobby which is useful for some reading and work. Overall, we had a great and pleasant stay that exceeded my initial expectation. Keep it up and maintain the high standard and hopefully the good price too. I'll definitely consider your hotel chain when next visit Japan. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Last but not least, we had a free airport limousine transfer provided by Booking.com which was greatly appreciated and made our arrival much easier and pleasant. The location is just steps away from bars, restaurants, the local shrine and the Metro station. The room has a washer-dryer (yep, stick your clothes in and they come out washed and dried), and either a tatami mat bed or a “western” bed (we have stayed there twice). I love the place. This is not a swank upmarket hotel with lots of cafes and restaurants. I’ve stayed at those in Tokyo and they’re good but generic. (And I prefer if someone else pays for them). The TokyuStay is for a different clientele. It is a fantastic small hotel for tourists and business people with no on site dining but clean and good.

Nothing to report. The rooms are smallish and the location urban. But this is Tokyo so that’s hardly a negative. You’ll be disappointed if you want a cafe or similar in site, but they are steps away so no challenge.

Great location next to metro station and two very interesting temples - highly recommend participating in the Goma fire ceremony in nearby Fudo temple. Also lots of nice restaurants in direct neighbourhood. Very helpful staff. Room, bathroom and bed of good size and good amenities. Washing + drying machine worked well

Airco worked well but could do with some more English explanations how to manipulate it. Same is true for washing machine: works great, but Google Lens is required to understand how to operate it. One final remark: it would be great and safe if the elevator doors in the Annex wouldn't close so quickly and briskly.

The staff were amazing. English friendly, but also friendly in general. The room was amazing, had facilities to help not only adjust to the Japanese weather but also made the stay more convenient. I would stay here again if in Tokyo. The service around were convenient (Family Mart and places to eat). Close enough to the metro to head to Tokyo Center.

Good hotel for the price you pay. Nothing to fancy but a good day to day hotel.

Our room had great amenities: shower, bathtub, desk, small dining area, kitchenette with fridge, sink and microwave, balcony with a view, and a laundry washer-dryer combo. Three twin mattresses pushed together was enough for our young family of four. Important to us was the proximity of this hotel to the subway, restaurants, shops and playgrounds since we were traveling with young children. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We utilized and appreciated the complimentary items in the lobby, the coffee, and luggage hold service before check in and after check out.

It is located near the subway and bus stop. It is close to shopping, restaurants, and historical temple/ shrine. All rooms are equipped with own laundry, most rooms have small kitchen. Those are very valuable for long stays. Hotel staff is always helpful. Definitely my favorite place to stay

The washing machine, microwave and mini-fridge were amazing to have! The instructions were a little complicated, but once we figured it out, the washer/dryer was easy to use. The room was spacious for Tokyo and the AC worked well. I also liked the shampoo and conditioner ❤️ Bed was comfy. Location was great, too. We got everywhere where we wanted to go. Would stay here again.

Quiet area, close to station, close to convenient store, and has washer/dryer combined that actually works very well.

Can be loud in the morning when the other rooms are being cleaned. A lot of old stains on the carpet inside the room.

Optional limited housekeeping on a daily basis. Near cheap places to eat. Near train stations. Has suggestions of services and tourist spots at lobby.

Confusion between red light and green light - small message in card folder should suffice.
