As in Japan the room is very small. This room doesn't even have a closet. It has a towel bar with four hangers. The room however is very clean and the staff is very helpful. I like that breakfast is included. It is not the type of breakfast you expect in the US, but there is sufficient variety to have a decent breakfast. The breakfast varies a little bit daily. Small breakfast sausages, scrambled eggs in the form of curds, yogurt, bread, raisin bun, cereals, rice, soup, are always available. In addition, you may get a bun filled with custard and other proteins such as meat balls or chicken. Another plus is that the metro train station is literally steps away and you could get to any of the tourist areas using the trains with transfers of course.

The major negative is it is far away from the busy and tourist area. As such there is not much around there. We tried four restaurants around there and there is none that I would recommend. Transportation is expensive in Japan, so it would be better to stay near the location you want to visit. Besides, you will save time getting to where you want to go.

absolutely LOVE the location. after a full day of walking around tokyo, there's nothing like remembering that your hotel is *right* beside the train station. unbeatable. apart from that, it's across the kiyosumi park, a 10-minute walk away from the modern art museum, and is well-situated close to great izakayas, restaurants, and cafes. can't beat it! it was appropriately local (it had a lot of local flavor, and not too many tourists in the area!) but still connects you to the rest of tokyo. really has everything that you need for the price. i stayed around march (transition between spring/winter) so the AC is set to warm: that's really great, too.

The breakfast was very good -nice variety, plenty of fruits & vegetables, good pastry/bread and beverage selection. It was tasty, easy, fast and good start to our day. We also liked that toiletries and pyjamas are provided...makes packing easier and lighter suitcases. Having the Subway station next to the hotel was super convenient and a definite highlight. The shops, restaurants, pharmacy and grocer within steps of the hotel are also pluses. We also explored the parks, shrine/temples and museum that were also within walking distance. This is our second stay at this hotel. Our first room was in better condition than this recent stay, because this room is more rundown and needs more repairs. The rooms are comfortable but are very basic/standard and lacks character. The elevators were slow. Other features we liked are the laundry machines, the maps and travel information, library with books/games/beverages/plugs/tables/chairs, the food vending machines and the complimentary suitcases storage. There BEST part of both of our stays are the staff. From the front desk, breakfast/kitchen, and cleaning staff, everyone was super friendly and helpful, always acknowledged and greeted us with smiles, and always went above and beyond to make our stay better. 🙏🏻 Thank-you and we look forward to returning soon. 🥰

It would be nicer if the elevators were a bit faster, and the rooms were updated.

Staff are really warm even though they don't speak english fluent they try to translate everything to you in an easy way.

I was just shocked how small the room was. But it was okay with me. Because it is so clean, new and very comfortable even though the room was too small.

The hotel is located in a lesser known district on the eastern side of the Sumida river. However, in terms of location for getting about, it couldn't be better. Literally right next door to Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Metro station. Also right next door, on the other side of reception, is a conbini. The hotel was clean and the room wasn't overly small for Tokyo. There was also a daily room cleaning service. There is a baggage storage area in reception, with some parts having lockable cables.

This hotel is very popular with overseas visitors and as such gets very busy, especially at breakfast time. The lifts are frustrating, constantly stopping at the second floor lobby, even when nobody is waiting there. They also travel past your floor, despite having pressed the call button. You couldn't turn the main room lights out from your bed, so had to navigate around your luggage in the dark.

Breakfast was great & plentiful selections! Housekeeping was great ensuring we had new towels daily although it wasn’t always necessary. They changed are linens when we needed change. Loved that a laundry facility was provided on the property. The Front desk staff was wonderful & always helpful despite occasional language difficulties.

The bathroom had a high step up & step down as well as the tub/shower. It was ok for us however I’m a bit concerned for older Seniors who may have difficulty stepping up & down with no bar to grab hold on to.

Breakfast was varied: smoothies, salads, hot snack and soups. Theee is usefull library, where it's possible to work and get cofee for free. Good LAN internet in the room, not especially quick, but suffivcient for work and planning excursions. The curancy change mashine is in the lobby. Entrance to Subway is in distance 10 m from the Hotel.

Warm water in the shower wasn't enough warm. Rate of curancy change mashine in the hotel isn't especially benefit. It's better to get cash in ATM. There are no choice of the restoraunts nearby the Hotel for diner.

We're satisfied with our stay in this hotel. I requested for a separate single beds but none was available at the time of check-in. Room size is a bit tight but that's common in Japan so I can't really complain. Breakfast was excellent! Location is top-notch, in a quiet corner of Tokyo away from the bustling tourist spots. It is right next to 2 metro subway lines so you're never too far away from any Tokyo attraction.

Food was above expectations and the location was very convenient to the local subway station which was literally next door to the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful couldn't haven't been better. Their English was not the greatest, but their effort help came through in the end.

The room and the bathroom were kind of cramped, there was no storage (closet or drawer space) in the room. So we basically ended up living out of our suitcases for the duration of our trip. But that was ok.

It was cleaned and the room was big for one person, the breakfast was good.

It was a bit further away than I expected but the subway station was right next door so it was quite convenient. I never used to take subway or had to change trains so it was a bit confusing at the very beginning but then I got used to it. For the breakfast choice, if they have more choice of juice and also have other type of milk, like soy milk will be great because I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only have lactose intolerance issue staying there.
