Location and view of the bay was superb. Staff were excellent with Kelvin always going the extra mile. The variety for both the continental breakfast and hot breakfast was also excellent and we dined in the hotel on 2 occasions and enjoyed both the food and view at the same time.

We chose the Biarritz for the location and view plus their policy document stated ‘Pets are not Allowed’ as my wife can suffer an allergic reaction to cats and dogs. On 3 different days dogs were allowed whilst owners were dining outside. One couple allowed a dog to sit on a chair whilst eating and a group took both of their dogs into the lounge area after dining. Those areas became no go areas for us. The hotel should either abide by their policy or remove the ‘Pets are not Allowed’ from their guidelines. Allergic reaction to animals can be extremely serious similar to food allergies.

We had an incredible view of the bay from our room and balcony--watching the sunset was beautiful. The room was huge, spotless and well furnished. The whole hotel seemed to have been recently decorated and furnished and very attractive. Breakfast was excellent and the one evening meal we had was very good. There is a little coffee bar open all day and if no staff around can tell reception what you had. It is an pleasant walk through the garden to the beach though as it is on a hill may be more difficult for anyone with walking difficulties. Best of all-the lovely staff group, everyone friendly, helpful and kind. So lucky to have found it.

Only comment--bed was firmer than we like, but that is personal choice.

BREAKFAST NEEDS A PROPER MANAGER TO RUN IT, THE TEAM IS VERY KIND BUT CLEARLY THERE IS AN ABSENCE OF GUIDANCE. REFILLING THE BUFFET, CLEARING AND RELAYING NEED A DIFFERENT GEAR. BUFFET IS QUITE DECENT, NOT IN LINE WITH THE ISLAND, WITH THE PLACE, WITH THE HOTEL. NOT HAVING A FRESH BREWED COFFEE/CAPPUCCINO, BUT JUST A MACHINE, MOVE THIS BREAKFAST TO A BUDGET HOTEL RATHER THAN A PRICELESS VIEW BOUTIQUE ONE.

Exceptional hotel, fantastic stay, nothings too much trouble and one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. Everything was immaculate. Management always helpful even on their day off, as were all the staff. The new menu is great and it gives a lot more flexibility to eat when convenient to you. Fantastic views out across St Brelade’s Bay. Thank you to all at the Biarritz Hotel.

The only thing we could fault was not being able to get something to eat a couple of times but this has now been rectified with the new menu. So nothing now.

The hotel was stunning with stunning views. The staff couldn’t have been anymore helpful and welcoming, the food was very good too. Our room (S1A) was fantastic with the most amazing view over the St Brelades bay. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the beds were made daily with new towels and tea/coffee etc replenished everyday. Jason (the manager), the restaurant manager and all the staff are a huge credit

Beautiful terrace leading from the dining room with a wonderful view of the bay. Nice clean rooms, bed was reasonable and everything we needed was in the room except air conditioning. Staff were friendly and the manager was very visible when on duty. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice and the English breakfast was very consistent in quality which couldn't be said of the porridge though! The ready access from the terrace down to the beach was a big plus and we used this everyday to walk down to the beach for a walk and quick access to the lovely walk over the headland to the next scenic cove.

The menu was very limited and didn't change throughout the week which made good choices hard if using the restaurant. There were a few daily chefs specials but very limited. The sweet choices were not good and were disappointing on the whole. The young staff were very friendly but the service was incredibly slow which led to some noticable frustration from other guests. Our room was very close to the terrace, in fact within touching distance of our balcony which made privacy a bit of a challenge and the noise at night from other guests using the terrace was intrusive at times. We would definitely not want this room if we stayed again as it was also subject to a lot of light triggered by sensors when people used the terrace or steps.

The hotel location could not have been better with fabulous views over St Brelades Bay. The room was spacious and comfortable albeit that a walk in shower would have been preferable to having to climb into the bath to shower. Breakfast was very good but both that and the dinner menu could do with a bit more diversity. The staff were all very friendly and helpful but putting them in black uniform and wearing white gloves for service in the restaurant have the overall experience of stepping back to the early 20th century. They would look far better and give more of a holiday vibe were th ey to wear lighter coloured smart shorts and tops. The hotel fails to capitalise on its prominent position with a bar that looks no bigger than a cupboard and areas that are not utilised to full potential. Especially the outside area where the table umbrellas are not even large enough in area to cover the width of the tables. This makes it a!most too uncomfortable and not to sit outside. Don't get me wrong this not a total gripe, we really enjoyed our stay I just thought it would be useful to mention where it would be possible to make the clients stay that much better

Great Hotel in superb location overlooking St.Brelades Bay. Stunning views from our Balcony and the Hotel Terrace. The staff were just amazing, so friendly and helpful. They certainly added to our enjoyment of our stay. The hotel was so clean and well presented. It looks as though it has recently been refurbished. The Breakfast was really good.

We only ate in the Hotel once in the evening but it seemed a little disorganized. We did have to wait quite a while for our meal to be served and the bar was unattended whilst dinner service was underway. We were very happy with our room which was perfectly clean and comfortable. The water pressure for the shower wasn't the best and personally we don't like showers over the bath. Perhaps walk in showers would be safer

Hotel was exceptionally clean & spotless, Staff were amazing, polite & could not do enough for you. Housekeeping was amazing - I think this is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Room was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast we only had once & although well presented & cooked I think my Husband got the wrong order & we didn't realise at the time. Asked for full english & it came with 1 egg, 1 rasher of bacon & 1 sausage, no mushrooms, beans, tomato etc. It didn't ruin the holiday though we were there to see family. Off course the view was amazing. Would def return.

Glorious views, best in the bay. The sun deck is lovely, and there's a great path down to the beach. Staff are great, it's really clean and we had robes and slippers which was a nice touch. We stayed in a superior twin room with sea view - although there are rooms with better views than ours which was at the side and nearest the road. St Brelade's bay is one of my favourite places and we love the hotel!

The room was directly above the smoking bench (room 112) which was a bit grim during our picnic lunches so I would avoid this room. Also the hotel adds a 10% tip to anything you buy automatically - even if it's just a beer, without any clarity or transparency.
