- The room is very clean, and literally spotless. There's no mould in the corner of the shower. - The gym is large. The staff in the gym is also very nice. - The pool is also clean. - The staff gave us a stuffed toy when we checked-in. There are also special welcoming drinks. - We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in different restaurants (rooftop pool side bar, Indian, Italian) of the hotel. All (staff and food and hygiene) are very good. The breakfast is exceptional with different juices and food. - We also went to another hotel called Social House in Nairobi. The staff in Novotel were much well-trained in general. - Special thanks to Ezekiel. We were there during the protest and Ezekiel took very good care of us. - Highly recommend Novotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Novotel Nairobi for my wedding anniversary in Westlands, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's modern design and welcoming atmosphere made for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered stunning views of the city. I particularly enjoyed the amenities, including the fitness center and the rooftop swimming pool restaurant, which served mesmerizing and delicious barbecue meals. The location is perfect, with easy access to local attractions and business districts.

The food at Trunk & Tandoor was a standout, especially the butter chicken & tandoori which made dining in a real treat. The rooftop bar was a great place to relax in the evening, with stunning views of Nairobi’s skyline and a lively but laid-back atmosphere. I also appreciated the well-equipped gym, which made it easy to keep up with my fitness routine. The rooftop pool added an extra touch of relaxation, offering beautiful panoramic views of the city. Overall, it was a perfect mix of comfort, good food, and modern amenities.

The air conditioning in the room wasn’t as cool as I expected, especially during the warmer parts of the day. It made the room feel a bit stuffy at times. Aside from that, most other aspects of the stay were great.

The hotel was really nice. Their staff were very helpful and the location of the hotel was perfect. Easy to get to most places including both Westgate and Sarit mall. We dined at the hotel rooftop restaurant and there was a live saxophonist which was really entertaining. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Special thanks to Johanne who helped us with our luggage when leaving.

The water provided tasted like tap water. Only used it for the kettle.

The hotel was new, fresh, comfortable, and easy walking distance to two malls. The staff was helpful and kind. The restaurant on the 11th floor was delicious.

The service at the ground floor restaurant was disappointing. Both at breakfast and dinner I was ignored for long periods while other tables arriving after me were served. I didn’t return after those two experiences early in my 5 day stay. Not sure what that was about. The food was good though!

It was modern with great decor and outstanding facilities. The staff was exceptional, very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast spread was very good. My stay was very pleasant and comfortable and I’ll highly recommend this property. I was very impressed with the quality of the property. Thanks to everyone who made my stay very enjoyable.

Not much but I didn’t like the fact that housekeeping didn’t tend to my room on after my second night of stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Novotel! The room was nice and clean - and good value for money. The hotel is spacious and has lovely decor for a chain; it incorporates lots of Kenyan elements to make it feel unique. And all of the staff couldn't have been more friendly. For example, Stephen was great when we checked in, sorting our bags for us and showing us round, and Lydia was very attentive at breakfast. The Askaris on the gate were also great when getting ubers at night, stationed outside the gate and ensuring we got in the car ok.

Good location with 2 malls in walking distance with plenty of restaurant options. A plant nursery across the street provides a a lovely pass through. Modern amenities made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Every single person on staff was friendly and helpful.

There’s a window between the bathroom and the room, but there is an automatic shade to cover the window.

I loved a big size of our room. It was good to have a functional gym and small pool for relaxation. I was genuinely surprised by the restaurant manager doing everything to meet our culinary expectations, and I am thankful to him for that.

I chose Novotel in Westlands because of a short distance to the dental studio, where we had an appointment, but obviously, Westlands itself, as a crowded and noisy location it's not a best part of Nairobi where to stay, if you don't have any interest in surroundings.

Great new hotel. Excellent location close to shopping and restaurants. Great restaurant and bar on the rooftop. Large and modern rooms and facilities. Staff generally very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

A few small things to iron out such as… room service took a long time, no remote for the aircon so have to keep getting up to turn it on (has a weird auto off setting), body wash not refilled in housekeeping
