3 star hotel that deserves an even higher star rating. From booking online to check out, the service was impeccable. The staff were welcoming, the hotel super clean and breakfast sumptuous. They cater for everybody. The rooms were very spacious and the beds very comfortable. The 2 days spent at the hotel were clearly not enough to enjoy all the facilities available on the premises. The location was prime, a stone through from Sarrit Mall. It very convenient for those on a business trip to pop in after business hours for some late shopping. The hotel was also surrounded by several eateries within walking distance. Overall, very good hotel

Good location in Westlands, with Sarit Centre shopping mall across the road. The area can get heavy traffic in rush hour, but with the new express way the airport is now within easy reach. Comfortable room, great buffet breakfast. One of the few hotels that has kept some green space - inner courtyard with swimming pool.

No airco, only a ceiling fan. Sound insulation - I could follow a neighbour's late night phone call verbatim and had to request the reception to intervene, which they did.

The Jacaranda Hotel is centrally located (just off the express way) with a couple of shopping malls nearby. The hotel and grounds are very well maintained. It has a nice swimming pool. There is a restaurant on-site with excellent service. Front desk service is excellent and very helpful. They quickly arranged a taxi so I could visit the national museum.

The hotel itself is very quiet but there is a noisy nightclub somewhere nearby. It went on really long on Saturday evening / night. No party on Sunday, so all was quiet again.

This is my favourite hotel in Nairobi. I always stay here as the location is great. The staff are amazing. The whole hotel is a bit dated, but the good things about the hotel clearly make up for the few short comings.

Its pretty hot at this time of the year in Nairobi. The Hotel needs to start investing in ACs to make sleeping better

Heritage hotel in Westlands from the 60s, lovely architecture, awesome gym/swimming pool. The mall across the street comes in very handy. Fabulous breakfast and restaurant/bar. Spacious garden. Will come back there.

The only issue is the noise coming from nearby clubs - but only in the weekends. The rest was perfect.

This hotel is what you expect. It is friendly, neat, and ideally located in the center of Nairobi, very close to the exhibition center. The beds were good, and overall, the room was good.

The only thing I did not like was that some bird was making a loud noise early in the morning! The rest was awesome! No complaints whatsoever!

Convenient location in the heart of Westlands, with green space and outdoor pool and spa. The rooms are comfortable and come with all the needed amenities. The staff were friendly and accomodating, and the room rate was good.

This place is my place always that I always use during my business trip to Nairobi. Great access to Sarit Mall. Good breakfast, decent Wi-Fi, nice room.

It would be great if the gate to Sarit opens until 9pm or so, so that I can easirly come back after dinner there.

I booked it for the gym and pool and wasn’t disappointed. The wellness Centre looked good and i wish I’d had time to use it. I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. The low level design of the hotel gives you a feeling of light and air as your door is always on the outside and not along a dark or claustrophobic corridor. I loved my view onto the pool and exceptional gardens. My room was big and had a huge bed. I was offered the choice of a carpeted or tiled floor. The breakfast was great as well. Security on the gate was very good. Everyone was so lovely that traveling as a lone woman, I felt very much looked after and secure.

My very strange looking and noisy shower head only ran quite hot water. I like to have a warm shower then run cold to finish off. It was a shame to have no control over the temperature. When I was kindly being given the opportunity to look at another room on check in I noticed it had a very modern looking shower so I’m guessing they just hasn’t got to replacing the one in my room. It was still quite a good shower however so not a big problem. Also the entrance has a waiting area/lounge which would be so much more useful and welcoming if it was brightened up with some local arts and colorful baskets and cushions. Please get rid of those old fashioned chairs!

This is my preferred hotel in Nairobi. I have stayed there many times. It’s not like flashiest hotels by a long way, But the staff are superb. I was unwell during my stay and they simply looked after me. That’s worth more than all the stars a hotel may possess.
