We loved this hotel. Great value of money. The noise isolation is not the best so perhaps you need earbuds in the night. Everything needed for a one night stay is in the room. Helpful staff. DO TRY THEIR RESTAURANT! Though there's no alcoholic drinks but the lamb dishes we tried were amazing. Wow! Portion is big price is very reasonable. Also seems to be really popular among locals. For breakfast there's a QR code menu so one can choose his own combination. Again good taste big portion. We were thrilled.

Friendly staff all round. They are capable of doing personal favours (go beyond what is expected of an establishment). The food is really tasty and there is variety to the menu. Generally, a lovely place to stay and I will definitely come back. Above all, you feel welcomed in this place. The bathroom is simple and functional and the water was hot and the water pressure was fine. Overall, a nice feeling to lodge here.

I love natural yoghurt and would have wanted that perhaps on the breakfast menu. Also, I enjoy only certain fruits, such as berries and so maybe that could be thought about. Also, perhaps, greater availability of cold sparkling water would be encouraged. And finally, a kettle in the rooms would be nice. No need for coffee or tea as guests can provide this themselves.

This is a great hotel not so far away from the airport (20 mins). It had a secure underground parking for our rental car. Our room was fine, well equipped, and clean. The staff is phenomenal and helped me out with booking bus locally as it was not possible online. The breakfast is amazing, a full meal where you can choose and combine from many options. We also had dinner there and it was fantastic, they have very high standards and their chef is talented.

Everyone on staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast portions are very generous. They were very kind and flexible on the days I woke up late and let me order breakfast anyway. The restaurant area is nice for getting some work done.

The room windows do face the street, so if you are a very light sleeper, this might not be the hotel for you. But personally I slept very well and enjoyed my stay!

The staff are amazing & professional, and the variety of food is excellent,especially for breakfast, I like the fact that you can customize it to your liking.The rooms are very clean.For the Muslim brothers and sisters, their is a prayer room situated in the basement/parking,Big up the entire samra team for your efforts,when am in Nairobi definitely this is where am going to stay,.

What I didn't like is the traffic noise sometimes outside in the night,if I open the window for fresh air in my room,if you close the windows then is a bit better,but I guess it depends on the room allocation.

I unfortunately got sick on the 2nd day Inn due to too much partying on my first night Inn.. Samra kept an eye out on me and fortunately there is a hospital across the road.. literally across the road if needed. From room service to restaurant , I have nothing bad to say about the people. You might get slightly overwhelmed during lunch time, as a good number of outsiders come in after mosque prayers for something to eat. Construction will be a problem for a while (if you plan to be indoors during the day) , as digging has just started for some apartments next door and your windows are not sound proof. Food/drinks -Good and cheap food. Freshly done daily.. -Juice is fresh as well.

Construction Constant traffic flow with constant hooting. I guess this what you will get being on a main road.

Our check-in was very smooth and the employees were very friendly all the time. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. We can highly recommend the restaurant. The food is very delicious and you can enjoy everything in your room if you want. We could also leave our luggage after check out till the evening to go out in the afternoon.

During the night it was very loud, due to the street next to the window (Budget room). It took very long till the water in the shower was hot. The breakfast was ok - you were able to choose between different dishes of four categories (meat, egg, starchs, additional items) - for us as Germans it was a bit difficult to find something to eat.

How l have not come across this little gem of a hotel is beyond me. Everything about the hotel was to my liking. The staff were curtious, friendly and well mannered. The food was tasty and in no way bland. The breakfasts were delicious, l could not manage to finish everything that l was was given. The room was more than adequate, the Internet was always good, the bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Added touches like shower gel from a dispenser and even a mosquito plug in, made it even better. All in all, a very satisfying stay and whenever l'm going to Nairobi again, l will definitely be booking this hotel.

Bit of a nit pick here, but the room could do with air conditioning, although the fan was adequate.

They are super friendly and very kind. Very clean, and calm place. We were in a hurry for the flight and unfortunately, we could not have breakfast at 6:30. But when the staff found out about this, they made breakfast for us at five o'clock in the morning and packed it in beautiful packages for us to eat at the airport. The breakfast was also very delicious.

I ended up at the Samra Hotel "by chance" as the other accommodation I had booked was uninhabitable. I checked in late in the evening and at short notice without any problems. Very hospitable and professional. The breakfast and food in the restaurant is top class. The room was very clean and exactly as in the photos. Super friendly and helpful staff! I will definitely be back! Many thanks and a clear recommendation.
