I usually stay at this hotel for work, but this time it was a personal trip. I booked it because I have always felt comfortable here during my work trips. The staff are really so professional and very personable at the same time. The rooms very clean and comfortable, and this time the staff gave me a free room upgrade which was such a lovely treat. I wish all Radisson Blus around the world were this clean and professional! The pool is the real winner for me - perfectly heated, clean and quiet. And finally, the proximity to and ease of getting to/from the airport is a real plus too.

Nothing I can think of

As you would expect of a Radisson Blu, the hotel is very well appointed and the rooms were vast! We ate in the Chophouse restaurant on our first evening and had a superb meal (other evenings we were eating out with family). Breakfast was very good and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or efficient. The reception staff in particular deserve a special mention.

Essentially this is a business hotel and as such it succeeds brilliantly. Our usual Nairobi hotel couldn’t accommodate us for our week’s stay, so we chose the Radisson. It didn’t seem geared up for a longer stay. The rooms were vast, but there was very little shelf space and no drawers - so completely unpacking a suitcase with a whole week’s clothes wasn’t really feasible. The pool is a bit of a token effort and could do with a design upgrade.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing, offering a great variety of delicious options. My room was spotless and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Highly recommend!

However, one downside was the security at the entrance constantly asking for tips every time I entered with my car. While I understand this practice is common within us Africans, it could be annoying and uncomfortable for certain guests.

There is one thing — some of our money went missing. Unfortunately, we only noticed it after we got home. The money was in a backpack, and the backpack was only in the hotel. In any case, do not leave money in the hotel

I loved that the Radisson Hiltop was environmentally responsive, Great city view and a clean, spacious room. Excellent choice of meals and very kind staff - Salla, Keffa, Duncan, Ruth and my airport drivers Jack and his colleague, were very kind. I like that the night manager who checked me out at 5 a.m. on Saturday, Oct 07, gave his word to resolve my double billing situation. I had presented an AMEX card for billing at reception when I arrived, and shortly afterwards, my Visa card used to make the booking was charged AGAIN! I expect Booking.com to step in to help to resolve this quickly.

The internet service dropped sometimes. Being double billed across two cards also disorganised me financially.

The staff were great! The staff at the hotel are professional and friendly, especially at the reception and Buffet!

For long stay visitors basic needs should be addressed better. EG more towels,water,tea etc Also the security should note the vehicles of your in-house guests to avoid all the time explaining at the gate.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was tidy. The restaurant served delicious food, and the bar staff were friendly. Everything was great.

I don’t understand why meals at the restaurant can’t be charged to the room. This should have been communicated to me during check-in, informing me that all restaurant expenses cannot be billed to the room.

The place has high security standards. Even though it’s safe but you feel safer. The place is clean and fantastic, there are two restaurants, and a bar that can serve quite delicious food and drinks too.

The gym needs more equipments and the spa is out of service. After that it’s worth it.

The facilities are very nice and modern. The rooms were clean, they had everything you needed. The restaurant options were also great. Breakfast very good but very crowded.

They were doing renovations or fixing items therefore it was noisy. We complained as we couldn’t sleep and they immediately stopped.
