Our room 2606 was large, comfortable and very clean. The A/C was nice and cold as we wished and it was lovely having a bathroom with a hot tub and a separate shower. The restaurant where we had breakfast is very well located. The lady who prepared our omelette was wonderful. She does a very good job with a smile on her face. We received first class service from the staff. Special mention for Caroline at guest relations, Violet and Benson at reception. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We shall definitely be back next year, God willing.

Breakfast choices could have been better, although I understand one has to consider the guests from different cultures.

We liked the fact that you have special rooms for people in a wheelchair

The special room for disability is on a floor that is not accessible with the elevator and the slope is too much for people in a wheelchair. Even I - his spouse - could not manage it so we needed support to go to or from the room each time. The staff were very willing to do this but this is not okay. Also in the bathroom an extra handle at the right side of the toilet would help a lot. Now people are using the holder for the toiletpaper to push themselves - which already was coming out of the wall halfway.... which can cause a dangerous situation. Besides this, everything was very good.

Nice room with good view. I was in room 2404 (Deluxe Double Room) so I can say just about this side of the hotel building Decoration items and facilities were a bit old, but cleanness was good and housekeeping did it well Breakfast was good, fresh with reasonable verity

Hotel located in the south part of the city. It was good for me. But for the people who like to visit city center or they want to visit Nairobi as tourist, it is a little far from the city center or tourist attractions. (Except Nairobi National Park)

We used the Boma as a 'hub' between excursions and traveling back and forth between different destinations in East Africa, and stayed a total of 5 nights. We were perfectly happy with our choice and will book again next time. The Boma is a well-run property close to both airports, rooms are comfortable, spacious and very clean, food at the restaurant is very good with a decent choice. Best of all however is the friendly, professional and efficient service provided by all the staff! Everyone was keen on making sure that our stay was comfortable. We felt listened to and any issues, which were only minor, were taken care of immediately and followed up on. Their level of service is as with every hotel and hospitality business in Kenya, quite exemplary! The taxi drivers (organized by the hotel) were all very professional and reliable although unfortunately, we only took down one name - Simon who drove us a couple of times. Caroline in guest relations was amazing, making sure that we were perfectly happy with our accommodation.

This hotel needs to have the big 5 gallon water dispenser in lobby for guests. They need to reduce single use plastic! Raise rooms rates a few shillings to pay for it. Also, we had to pay 700 shillings for a cup of tea at the cafe. It was more than a beer! We thought it was a mistake but that’s what they charge which is ridiculous.

The Boma Nairobi is a modern hotel, with the facilities being a bit older but still well-maintained. The spacious rooms were a pleasant surprise for us. The staff was very helpful and friendly, making our stay comfortable. Another pleasant surprise for us was that the BOLT app works in Nairobi, making getting around the city hassle-free.

The restaurant was also satisfactory, though I expected a bit more from the buffet dinner for 3000 KES. Compared to the à la carte menu, the buffet didn't offer much of an advantage, and I would prefer to choose à la carte next time.

The breakfast was good, but terribly over-priced! Good selection. Fresh fruit was excellent! Coffee was excellent in the lounge and service was good! Especially appreciative of George, the manager, who was very attentive and helpful. He personalized our stay and made us feel very welcome! Security was first rate and we felt safe and comfortable for the duration of our stay.

Menu options in Bistro and the restaurant should feature more Kenyan and African cultural dishes. International menu choices limited our opportunity to immerse in Kenyan culture.

The Boma was a pleasant suprise. Not exactly a 5 star hotel, more like 4 stars but still with a style. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable with fresh bedlinen. Bathroom was a bit outdated but ok, had both a shower and a bath. The pool area was nice. The staff was welcoming and the wifi was good. Really enjoyed the breakfast - very tasty and a wide choice of dishes. The whole hotel is a bit vintage which adds charm. We enjoyed our meal at the hotel's restaurant with good service and delicious food. For us the location was perfect jus a few miles from Nairobi Wilson airport.

Great facilities, not much things around so need to use a cab for going anywhere.

The reception was not helpful and the worse is they aren’t accepting that they can make errors . I asked for a late check out and I understood it was complimentary and this for having as a customer in the near future. After speaking to her colleague today. I was told I will be charge 50% rate for checking out at 6pm and cannot admit any wrongdoing at their end. I thought treating clients is key, especially when there is no downside as the hotel is empty but this is definitely not how it feels in this hotel from a few members of the staff.

Great hotel, professional and very friendly staff, huge room with king size bed, extremely clean and everything was u to the level. The restaurant has delicious food, and again, all the service staff awesome. I would really mention the waiter in the restaurant Lydia, she was so professional, skilled and patient every time I had visited the restaurant as well as Kaisha in the coffee and cake lounge in the lobby. Awesome people. Thanks!
