My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Our room was a great size, providing ample space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. It was immaculately clean, well-appointed, and featured all the amenities one could need. The real highlight was the free upgrade we received upon check-in, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The hotel's location is absolutely brilliant. It is conveniently close to the metro, making it incredibly easy to navigate the city. This made our sightseeing adventures hassle-free and allowed us to maximize our time exploring the numerous attractions nearby. There's so much to do and see in the vicinity, from cultural landmarks to vibrant shopping districts and delightful restaurants. Breakfast each morning was a delight, with a wide array of delicious options to suit all tastes. The quality and variety of the food were impressive, providing the perfect start to our busy days. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. They were amazing – always friendly, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and valued as guests. Overall, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. With its spacious rooms, prime location, excellent breakfast, and outstanding staff, it offers everything you could possibly need for a memorable stay. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional hotel experience.

Location was great but also bad. We arrived late at night so when leaving the hotel to find a nice restaurant we turned 2 corners from the hotel and ended up in a very run down neighbourhood and felt very unsafe. Once we went back to the room and done more research we found that if we came out the hotel and walked the opposite direction that we were in a lovely area. I would just definitely recommend doing your research on where you want to go before just wondering around

Staff in breakfast/dining area was exceptional, fantastic crew, good atmosphere, great service. Loved their good mood and smiley faces.

Communication at front desk was not great upon arrival. They just kept us waiting, were not clear if/when somebody would come and pick up the car. It looked in first instance typically Italian with people behind the desk talking to each other but nobody giving us an update. Also, there was an event in the lobby and people were standing in the middle of the passage to the reception. Staff was there and standing at the side but nobody took any action to let the hotel guests pass with their luggage. This caused irritation before arrival at the front desk. In shower, the body wash was empty.

Beautiful interior, rooms and spa. 25 minutes walking distance to the most attractive points of Milan. Breakfast is nice, but it could have been a bit more diverse, especially when you stay longer than 2 days, and the menu gets boring. Some extra not-sweet food to take from the bar would be appreciated.

Stuff is sometimes too clumsy. Dropping cutlery can happen to anyone, but when it happens 10 times during breakfast for four consecutive days, it becomes recognizable... Don't be in such a rush :) We arrived at 15:30, which was half an hour later than the check-in time of 14:00 that we had indicated earlier. We had specified that we would arrive between 14:00-15:00, but unfortunately, our room was not ready upon arrival. We had to wait in the lobby for around 30 minutes and were initially told to wait just a few minutes. It would have been better to say the room isn't ready, so we could take a walk and not wait for 30 minutes. As a kind gesture, offering a cup of coffee could be considered to make a long waiting time more bearable.

No air con. Apparently they turn it off October 1st but the room was boiling so we didn’t sleep well. Music was on in the hotel all night so couldn’t sleep with window open

We booked the superior room for a 4 night stay in March. The room was spacious, with a large bathroom. Plenty of wardrobe space. The location is good for walking to main center (we walked everywhere - about 15-20 mins). Staff were very helpful. The bar is lovely and there is a generous amount of snacks given when you have a drink at the bar.

The breakfast is not worth the money (regardless of whether it's discounted for the second party). The selection is poor and even with 25euro each, you still have to pay extra for certain items. Go nearby instead We went in February and there was no a/c available. The room was unbearably warm and we struggled to sleep without the window open (which is only possible with ear plugs due to noise). The staff put on the a/c very briefly and then it went off again. This meant for uncomfortable sleep every night.

Beautiful entrance, room was spacious, staff was nice and helpful. Everything was very clean. The location is on a main street and very central, but you can’t hear any noise from the street. No noise could be heard from other rooms. We went for the spa and massage, and while the spa is small, it’s pleasant. The couple’s massage was very nice.

A few little things were slightly broken in the room. The sink faucet was loose, the waterfall shower would jut water out to the sides, the shower door hooks didn’t shut properly…everything still functioned, it was just little things that could have used more care.

This is a fine and very well positioned hotel. There are many public transport options in the vicinity so you can move around Milan easily. Corso Buenos Aires is a big boulevard and when you go out in the morning the feeling of a big city meets you right away. It is actually not very far away should you choose to take a walk to the city center and reach Duomo. Rooms are maybe on a smaller side, but comfy. I have to mention one especially important detail. The mini-fridge in the room does not make any noise! The reception was professional and friendly.

Breakfast was of good quality but organized as only half-buffet so to say. It is of course very nice when you have an option to order eggs to be cooked the way you like, but being forced to order things like a plate of cheese, or a plate of charcuterie, and then wonder what you will get, well that is totally not my thing. I guess we could have "negotiated" with our server, Corrado, who is by the way one wonderful person that really made us feel welcome throughout our stay, but still that steels away the experience of browsing through the selection on your own. In conclusion, I do not see this inconvenience as a deal breaker and would gladly return to the Colombo.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, right in the city center, within walking distance of major attractions. There’s also a metro station nearby, making it easy to get around, and plenty of good restaurants in the area. The room was spacious, providing a comfortable stay. However, it didn’t have a balcony, which would have been a nice addition. Overall, a great choice for those looking for convenience and comfort in the heart of the city!

We didn’t include breakfast in our booking, but one morning, I decided to try it at the hotel. Unfortunately, the price was quite high, and the quality didn’t match the cost. You had to order items like eggs, cheese, and ham, there were not as a buffet, but the selection was quite limited. It wasn’t the best breakfast experience.

The location is fantastic, located on Buenos aires street, full of shops and restaurants. Its approximately 25 mins from the central train station (walking). There is a portable bidet in the bathroom which was a great surprise! The lobby and corridors smelled very nice and clean.

The room is quite small for 2 people, the bed isn’t comfortable (both the mattress and duvet), and the towels didn’t feel/smell clean. The room service isn’t 24/7 unfortunately, they close around 10pm. Also they don’t bring new water bottles everyday like other hotels.
