Great location to everything! Felt like a fancy hotel with all the Christmas decorations up and the decor in general. Comfortable bed.

Two things: first night the clock alarm next door went off but no one was in that room so it buzzed until we called guest services to turn it off. And the other issue was our tub took way too long to drain. Had to shower standing in our ankle high dirty water but we were already unpacked by the time we discovered it and didn’t want to move rooms. Would still stay here again but will check the tub before unpacking.

We booked the king suite with the ocean view and the room and the views were incredible. We LOVED seeing the ocean out every window and having space to set up our daughter’s crib in a separate room.

The staff at the check-in counter weren’t very welcoming but everyone else was lovely — room service, cleaning staff, bellhops and athletic facility staff.

We had a harbour view suite which gave us a lounge with picturesque windows a desk, 2 armchairs,TV ,fridge a balcony over looking the harbour the bedroom had a chaise lounge,armchair, 2 deluxe queen beds,tv and a balcony with views of the house of assembly you could sit out on both balconies also a pod coffee maker Was within walking distance of the main shopping and cafe/restaurant areas, the big red bus stop. It has a cafe at ground level and their restaurant Fathom serves up very good meals.

The shower being in the bath it was a bit awkward getting over the edge of the bath. Perhaps some grab rails would make it easier for us oldies

the view from our 8th floor balcony was a city view. It was so perfect! We could hear the clip-clop of the horse and buggys as they travelled down our road. The bagpipers were playing across the road from our hotel. We watched not 1, not 2 BUT three lovely ships arrive early evening and watched them depart, fully lit up in the night. We enjoyed in room breakfast service before checking out in the morning. It's the first time I've been out of town since COVID!. Thank you for the lovely visit.

We are used to a HUGE wall mounted TV at home. This rooms TV was tiny. However we weren't there to sit and watch TV!

Great location - super view of the harbour - comfortable beds - plenty of room - Fathom was a welcoming bar/restaurant. Great service. Food was good (not great) - easy Valet service. All in all good value for an upper end hotel.

Rooms need a little love - still well kept but starting to show a little age - older baths etc - little power to charge phones (1st world issues I know). AC was a little suspect - the temp didn't really change regardless of the thermostst setting. Breakfast was alright - nothing to shout about - pleasnat but slow service (more to do with staffing levels I think).

Excellent service at main desk from when we arrived. Pleased with underground parking and lift to rooms. Room was lovely luxurious bedding linen bathrobes. Coffee tea maker. Good size entrance hall and bathroom shower was wonderful. Big winds let in light and had drapery for sleeping. All staff throughout hotel were friendly helpful excellent service. Lounge was tastefully designed excellent drinks and service comfortable couches chairs marble tables. A classy soft lighting and music. Beautiful bar. Lobby itself was very big and spacious with high floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the water. Had a very tasty breakfast very comfortable chairs tables excellent service

Everything in every way was excellent.

We had a great stay at Hotel Grand Pacific. The location is excellent, right on the Inner Harbour, one of the most beautiful spots in Victoria. From our window, we could enjoy a wonderful view of the water and boats passing by. The room was spotless, with very clean bedding and comfortable mattresses. Everything was within walking distance. Highly recommended!

We booked two rooms and arrived after 4 PM, but unfortunately, one of the rooms was still not ready, so we had to wait a little while for housekeeping to finish. To be fair, the front desk staff were very kind and offered us complimentary parking as an apology, which we appreciated. Another small issue was that the air conditioning in one of the rooms wasn’t working. Luckily, it was a cool night, and having the balcony door open helped a lot.

Rooms were large and clean; beds & pillows comfortable; fridge in room; bathroom clean; balcony with sliding door I could open for fresh air. A very cozy bar/lounge and a nice social room for Happy Hour with outside patio seating. Directly across the street from the Victoria Clipper pier and an easy flat walk to the Empress Hotel and pick up for the Hop On/Hop Off bus.

There was nothing not to like. If I had to nit pick - I'd say the rooms were a bit dated and worn. However the location and friendliness of the staff made it a perfect choice for me.

Great location, good amenities, clean space and great staff. For context- this is a little more upscale than we usually book- but I brought my daughter up to Victoria for her 16th bday and we splurged a bit. Ate one time at their restaurant, Fathom, which we both thought it was better than expected. Pool, sauna hot tub and steam room were great, but packed the entire weekend. Was hard to find a time to “relax” in there. Also, their gym is open to the public with membership, so there was always someone using the facilities which was just fine for us but might irk some hotel guests if you think you have the whole gym to yourselves.

bummed we had to pay $10 to “rent a microwave” for our room to warm up our leftovers from a prior meal. Our king size room (not suite) didn’t have one.

The bed was comfortable, but I am 6'3" tall and when the bed was made each day and the sheets tucked in, the top sheet was not left high enough up the bed to begin to reach my chin. Every night I had to untuck the sheet and move it up higher on the bed so that it would reach at least up to my chin while laying down.

Very poor TV station selection. You need to pay for a more comprehensive TV channel selection. We could never find a decent show on TV to watch. Very annoying. Much better at home!
