Great location to everything! Felt like a fancy hotel with all the Christmas decorations up and the decor in general. Comfortable bed.

Two things: first night the clock alarm next door went off but no one was in that room so it buzzed until we called guest services to turn it off. And the other issue was our tub took way too long to drain. Had to shower standing in our ankle high dirty water but we were already unpacked by the time we discovered it and didn’t want to move rooms. Would still stay here again but will check the tub before unpacking.

We booked the king suite with the ocean view and the room and the views were incredible. We LOVED seeing the ocean out every window and having space to set up our daughter’s crib in a separate room.

The staff at the check-in counter weren’t very welcoming but everyone else was lovely — room service, cleaning staff, bellhops and athletic facility staff.

Excellent service at main desk from when we arrived. Pleased with underground parking and lift to rooms. Room was lovely luxurious bedding linen bathrobes. Coffee tea maker. Good size entrance hall and bathroom shower was wonderful. Big winds let in light and had drapery for sleeping. All staff throughout hotel were friendly helpful excellent service. Lounge was tastefully designed excellent drinks and service comfortable couches chairs marble tables. A classy soft lighting and music. Beautiful bar. Lobby itself was very big and spacious with high floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the water. Had a very tasty breakfast very comfortable chairs tables excellent service

Everything in every way was excellent.

Great location, good amenities, clean space and great staff. For context- this is a little more upscale than we usually book- but I brought my daughter up to Victoria for her 16th bday and we splurged a bit. Ate one time at their restaurant, Fathom, which we both thought it was better than expected. Pool, sauna hot tub and steam room were great, but packed the entire weekend. Was hard to find a time to “relax” in there. Also, their gym is open to the public with membership, so there was always someone using the facilities which was just fine for us but might irk some hotel guests if you think you have the whole gym to yourselves.

bummed we had to pay $10 to “rent a microwave” for our room to warm up our leftovers from a prior meal. Our king size room (not suite) didn’t have one.

The hotel is old style. Furniture, floors and rooms are old fashioned. It is clean and the rooms are very comfortable. The location can't be better, located on Belleville St. right next to the Legislative Assembly building. Upper floor rooms should have great view, our room on the 2nd floor not so much. It was a good value overall.

I don't like very much old-fashioned rooms and furniture, I don't find them very practical, but maybe that's more of a personal preference. Also, the price is on the high side - that applies in general in hotel stays in Victoria.

Good location , the bed and pillow is comfy

1. The alarm in the room somehow rang at 06:00 am for no reason. ( I didn’t set up the alarm ) My kids were waken up due to this alarm in the room. 2. This is a 4 stars rating hotel. me and my friend together paid about CND$1000 however there is no even 1 bottle water ( have to pay for it ) in the rooms and also you need to ask for slippers from the staff. When I pay that much amount of money normally we would expect to have few free water bottles in the room.

Upon arrival, we received an unexpected and delightful upgrade to a room with a harbor view. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and return to Victoria, where we had honeymooned 40 years ago. We enjoyed the onsite restaurant several times, and the location was perfect for walking to area attractions. The view of the harbor was lovely and we enjoyed the balcony throughout our stay. The room was spacious, with plenty of counter space in the bathroom + an additional sink/counter just outside the bath made things extra comfortable. The mini fridge allowed us to enjoy some of our leftover afternoon tea treats the next day. A++

The day before checkout, housekeeping missed making up our room even tho we had turned on the request light. However, when I let the desk staff know this as we were checking out, they graciously removed one of our 3 days of parking fees in apology, which I truly appreciated. A++ for customer service regarding that particular oversight.

The restaurant was stunning and elegant. The staff from the front to the kitchen were always operating on the highest level of efficiency. I had 8 seperate experiences at the restaurant, therefore I must have interacted with (I believe) the majority of them. Both classy and cordial, the many different servers all displayed a refreshingly elevated level of pride in the menu! An astutely coordinated team!!! There is much more. Excellent bartenders with a fantastic knowledge of pairings regarding individual palates and top quality spirits. Kevin made my evening. A great conversationalist with a solid demeanor and fun insights. Room service was also great. Very prompt and thorough service. Each time, I enjoyed nothing short of professional delivery and placement of the perfectly prepared order in my room. Thank you all... kitchen, bar, and serving staff! My room was also very agreeable. A 1 bedroom suite. Great view of the inner harbor and the massive heritage buildings on Government st. Warf st. And Bellville st. The 7th floor floor view was stunning at night and in the day mesmerizing with architectural detail. King bed in the bedroom. Great living room space. Very private and enjoyable room with wich I have ZERO complaints of any sort!!

No pool or spa... under renovation. Weather was great in victoria regardless! I only had free time to use pool a small amount of time during my 2 week.stay.

530 - The room was excellent. We loved the balcony for morning coffee. View was fabulous. Security was very good. Fathom lounge and Terrace were fantastic, with food reasonably priced and delicious, servers were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Baggage room was a bonus, both before and after check-in. The front desk staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient. Cleanliness throughout the property was very high.

I can't think of any negatives other than to say it's a pity the trees in the forecourt were cut down.

Loved our corner suite with 2 rooms and 2 balconies. Plenty of room for 4 of us (2 teens) to spread out. View was lovely and location was great. Walked everywhere.

First desk agent would not let us check in early. But went back an hour later and a different person gave us a great corner room. I think we were in an older room but it didn't bother us a bit. We found it quaint and charming.
