The exceptional friendliness of all the staff. Special mention should be made of the courtesy of the chef Dino, who not only has dinner improvement and suggestions or modifications for us, but also for all hotel customers

Since the internal pool and especially the salt room has limited sunbathing areas, which is to the disadvantage of many hotel guests, due to different guests who use the sunbathing areas unlimited (especially in the salt room with only 2 loungers, where guests stay up to two hours!!!), unfortunately you can hardly use these spa facilities. Here, as in many hotels, a time-limited reservation, for a general benefit for all hotel guests, would be an advantage and solution

This was an amazing place to stay. We had a superior room on the eighth floor and had a beautiful room with a small terrace and fantastic views of the Adriatic Sea. We opted for the breakfast and dinner package, and did not regret it at all. The food was delicious and top-notch. The menus were varied day by day and typically there were various choices available from a set menu. Likewise, breakfast was comprehensive and included fresh fruit, fresh pastries, an a la carte menu, with numerous options and everything was delicious. The barista made very good coffees Our room was very comfortable and well lit The shower was great The old town can be accessed either by a 20 minute walk or else by a short bus ride. We did both. The staff were very pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. A nice touch was that we had to leave at 3 am on the last day and the hotel gave us two breakfast boxes which included sandwiches, fresh fruit, yoghurt and toppings, and a bottle of still water.

Prices for wines were on the steep side

Staff is very kind and friendly. Water in their indoor pool is warm and pleasant for swimming. Nespresso coffee machine was a big surprise. Bvlgari cosmetics are found in the bathroom. Cleaning was good and on time. Champagne for breakfast is a nice touch. Their lobby is really warm and pleasant for relaxation. The hotel is close to a majority of tourist attractions in the city.

Corridors around the indoor pool and spa center are freezing cold and bathrobes too thin for off season. The pool itself is too well-lit in the evening, thus the atmosphere there is not at all romantic. Not any cakes are offered for breakfast. Furniture in the room is not adequate for the property of that rank and there is no carpet. Bathroom does not have any doors, so it is a bit colder there. The room service prices are abnormal.

Breakfast was great ….location was brilliant ..20 min walk to the old town of Dubrovnik which is stunning …..staff were friendly ….views from the hotel lobby were amazing …pool area and sun beds were fabulous ….clean every day in the hotel ….pleasant rooms …

Very big hotel …our room was on the first floor and corridors were very sterile like a hospital corridor …pictures would be good …..the garden view was just long grass which needed cutting , no garden …..took a while to navigate the hotel …..no drinks menu at the pool area which was annoying as everyone asked about one …not much information from anywhere …..didn’t know we could visit the Bellevue beach …thought it was private as no one told us ??

The view is absolutely top-notch—from the moment you step into the lobby to the stunning seaview from our room and throughout the property. The breakfast selection was outstanding, offering a wide range of delicious options. Overall, the hotel provides a consistently excellent 5-star experience in terms of service, amenities, and ambiance.

The room was a bit of a letdown, especially after being wowed by the hotel’s entrance and overall property. It felt quite basic and slightly outdated. The lighting was very dim throughout—while I understand the intention of a cozy ambiance, it didn’t quite work for the bathroom, where brighter lighting is more practical. The patio also felt underwhelming for a hotel that positions itself as 5-star. We experienced an issue with the bathtub, but to their credit, it was resolved within an hour. The room was clean overall, though not exceptionally so, with the bathroom in particular lacking that extra level of polish you’d expect from a luxury stay.

We stayed for 4 nights in Rixos Hotel Dubrovnik and we would give it a 5 star rating! From staff to location to gorgeous food, we left Dubrovnik feeling relaxed and energised! The hotel is located just a short 15 minute walk from the old town. Staff were all very welcoming and pleasant. They helped to book a trip for us to visit Montenegro on one of our days. Breakfast was delicious each morning with a wonderful view. We ate in the dinner Buffet in the evenings and it was more than we could ask for. There was a great selection for all tastes. It was a treat for our birthday and the hotel left a lovely treat for us on arrival which was such a gorgeous addition. Spa and gym facilities were clean and comfortable too. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

The quality and variety of the breakfast were lovely. All the chefs had given careful attention and everything was fresh. The level of attention and care provided by all the chefs was like that of a boutique hotel. Quite impressive indeed! When I returned a few months later following a business trip, I was stunned by the speed with which all the improvements had materialized. You had made the hotel feel like a newly opened one and given me the illusion of sleeping in a new place. Thank you for that! And that seafood restaurant—simply fantastic! So gorgeous and tasteful. What you’ve achieved with the hotel this year is simply phenomenal.

Nearby to old town, had an outdoor and indoor pool, stunning sea views, modern facilities and beautiful bedroom, very friendly staff (mostly)

staff were inattentive at breakfast, outdoor pool didn’t have a good layout and was starting to look tired, very expensive food and drinks, kids club poorly equipped, always slow service at lobby bar, the other restaurants such as the fish restaurant didn’t open until 7:30pm which meant we couldn’t try it as our baby is in bed for 8pm approx, it would have been better if this opened earlier, the same for the dinner time buffet, i’d say opening at 7pm is not family friendly

Wellness & Spa are outstanding. The hotel staff is always ready to make your stay more pleasant. Hotel location is outstanding, about 10 minutes walk from the old town, and a beautiful walk through the Great Park towards Lapad. Everything is extraordinary.

The location is great, just outside the old town but an easy walk or bus ride in. The pool area and the access to the sea is fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a very large buffet, which is excellent.

The towels were threadbare. I don't think I had a whole one! The spa looks lovely but it is obviously large but you can't see how to get in oe what's available. The menu is a bit repetitive room service / bar and terrace are all similar, which as a solo traveller wasn't great. There are other food locations but a bit expensive if dining alone.
