Even though we had issues in the beginning, after receiving another room, everything went well! The staff were very friendly and were eager to assist in any way. The breakfast was good too. In addition, the view of the river was wonderful. We will definitely being use these accommodations the next time we visit Wilimington area.

When we got there, we discovered that there were several issues with the room including the heat not working. The manager immediately got us another room on the same floor. (We had already unpacked.) Not only was he prompt in seeing that our needs were met, he comped the room for that particular night and the parking. Never had a hotel do that for us when issues arose. Great team of people run this hotel!!!

Location and views were great

After check out I received a charge on my credit card. When I called to ask about the charges they said it was for parking, beer, and juice. We paid for parking the first night we were there. And every time we bought drinks (soda) from downstairs we paid for it right then rather than charging it to the card. The lady working on the phone was arguing with me about the purchases. And asked if I had someone else stay in my room. My boyfriend was staying in the room but we were always together. We didn’t buy beer or juice. 3 days later they refunded me finally. After I called a few times and promised I would get a call back.

The night receptionist was amazing. We suffered some very lengthy flight delays, so didn't arrive until almost 3am. She checked us in as quickly as humanly possible so we could get straight to sleep. She also found a space for all of our luggage, so we didn't have to lug 8 suitcases upstairs. 😃. The river front view from our room was outstanding.

The elevator wasn't working, so a few flights of stairs to contend with,. Hopefully they are repaired by now!?

It was a very nice hotel, with nice rooms with a beautiful view of the river. The breakfast was good but the space to sit was very limited at first, but that turned out to be a good thing and there was enough room to sit.

Some towels would have stains, but that can happen. Otherwise everything would be really clean.

99% of my stay. The view was gorgeous, the walk to the concert Pavilion was beautiful and short. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

They don't tell you ahead of time that you have to pay $15 per night to park. Free parking is NOT included in your stay. I've never stayed at a hotel that charged extra for parking.

The rooms are quite nice, with a beautiful view of the river. It was the second time I stayed at this place and both times I was lucky enough to see an amazing sunset right from my room window. The location is quite convenient, right next to the boardwalk and downtown. Staff are super nice, parking is reasonably priced and convenient. Breakfast was included and good.

Breakfast was very good, but there wasn't enough room for us to sit in the breakfast area because it was full, so we had to carry it back to our room.

I did not like the shower. Because it was not enclosed, I thought it was cold! But it did warm up after a bit.

Location, convenience, pet friendly, great view

Very very weak wifi made phone use difficult, daily pet fee where even in NYC it's a single fee no matter length of stay, housekeeping by request only made it difficult and had to take towels to reception for exchange

The location was perfect to be able to walk to Live Oak music venue. Customer service was excellent too! Breakfast was a nice added bonus.

It is an older hotel, so it does have a bit of an old ‘scent’ to the room. Not unbearable and wasn’t a deal breaker. I’d stay here again. But there was no microwave in the room. Again. Not a deal break, just something we could have utilized.

Breakfast changed on each day. Location was excellent for accessing the festival (Azalea Festival). Lot's of restaurants within a short walk on the waterfront.

Would have liked to have a hot tub/pool.
