In the city center near the train station Very close walk from every main attraction (15m) Regard the hotel: - staff from the breakfast team, they were helpful and friendly and always available. - comfort of the beds and pillows, very good - breakfast was okay good, a good amount of options for the price

- check in was quite fast, meaning nothing was explained, was straight to payment and any doubts we had we could call to the reception, which made no point as we were there available at the time. - the room cleaning was ok but you could see a lot of dust all over the room, in the glasses for the tea, in the plugs bathroom etc, so clean wise it could improve a bit. We stayed 2 nights and in the 2 day morning , after the room clean up the staff left a wet towel on the bed. Overall happy with the stay !

You can see the hotel from the main train station - it’s so close. Petite France and Notre Dame are a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was included in our stay which was delicious and very comfortable. Very quiet rooms and excellent AC - something we missed in other hotels. Staff are helpful if you speak to them and ask for help. They keep to themselves, otherwise. Hotel has a cute early 20th century lift that adds to the charm.

Others have mentioned before and we also experienced it - we could opt to not have the room serviced which we did. Left the room to go to Carrefour for a bit and left the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. Came back to have the room made, which was annoying as I had left my clean clothes on the bed. The following day, housekeeping knocked then barged in through a locked door without waiting for a response. I was changing and when I pointed out to the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, she apologised and left. There should be some kind of chain or lock system for privacy and staff should understand their own policies. If you give your guests the option to not ask for housekeeping, then that request should be respected. Found this lack of privacy very odd.

Our room was really comfortable, with a lounge area which had a sofa bed and big bedroom and bathroom. It was very clean and the toiletries provided were nice (Nuxe). Complimentary water was provided everyday, and there was ample choice at breakfast (hot and cold food, juices, coffee, tea etc). The staff are all lovely and helpful. They also provide luggage storage which was really helpful as we arrived before check in and had a late flight out to catch. The location is excellent, right next to Strasbourg central station but very quiet. There are plenty of options to eat nearby, and 3 tram lines to take you into the centre. It was a great base for visiting all the Christmas markets. And try the complimentary hot apple drink in the lobby! It’s delicious!

We couldn’t work out how to get the heating to work, so it was quite cold in our room on arrival. Front desk staff were able to help though thankfully. On one of the days housekeeping didn’t replace our towels, but likewise this was quickly resolved. Very minor things which were rectified quickly.

Excellent location - very close to the train station, car rental provider, car park, and walking distance to superb restaurants, cathedrals and other beautiful sights. Spacious rooms with very large and comfortable beds, and spacious bathrooms. Very helpful, polite and patient staff. Good air conditioning and interesting automatic heating towel rack in bathroom. Large TV (with many channels) in each room. Able to completely black out room. A desk and bench space.

Non-secure wifi; lots of splash area of shower and nowhere to have towel nearby; cleaners left an open shower drainage hole, and fittings on shower floor (staff organised fixing immediately); limited extras (very limited coffee, no snacks or milk, no iron or ironing board, no teaspoons, limited bathroom tissues, hand wash and body wash …but did have 2 bathrobes and 1 pair of slippers in 1 room); 1 room was booked with a view, but had limited view; no power outlet near desk; one toilet’s half flush wasn’t working properly.

plates at breakfast could be cleaner and some other parts in breakfast buffet. Scrambled eggs were a bit gross to look at but you can boil your egg which was nice. I asked for an hour late checkout for 15 euros but the big manager, Mary Lou vetoed it which was a bit disappointing the way it was done. She kind of told off the nice guy at the desk in French.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The location is excellent — right in front of the train station and within easy walking distance to the Strasbourg city center. The staff were amazing: very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I especially want to thank Lea, Benoît and other staff for their exceptional assistance. They handled my special request with genuine kindness and professionalism — something that’s unfortunately missing in some other hotels. I truly appreciate and thank them for their outstanding service. Also, I really loved the charming old elevator with the iron gate — it added a nostalgic and unique touch to the whole experience. My room had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the train station, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

My recent experience at this hotel was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the hotel's prime location impressed me. Situated just a short walk from the heart of Strasbourg City, it offered easy access to the city's attractions while providing a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The pillows were plush, and the linens were of high quality, adding to the overall comfort. A standout feature of the bathroom was the inclusion of Nuxe bath products. The staff were attentive, professional, and spoke quite good English.

Leaving and if I have to nitpick, the bathroom could benefit from a few towel hangers.

For physical reasons I needed a walk in shower as opposed to the more usual deep tub shower. Every aspect of that bathroom was top notch in appearance and functionality. While there was a convenient newer elevator, the antique elevator in the lobby was a fun touch and totally reliable. Staff were wonderfully friendly and also very helpful with questions or requests of mine. The breakfast was exceptional with great variety. I loved the central location, just across the plaza from the train station, and a convenient walk to many of the most interesting parts of the city.

My room had a single flaw, and it may have been unique to my room. I had lots of windows but no view. Up to a height of about 6 feet the window glass was heavily frosted such that I could not see anything . Maybe it was because of a active construction site on the other side,, I don't know. But I disliked not having any view. But there was plenty of natural light, just the same.

We checked in way earlier than the hotel suggested (due to hotel changing that’s why we arrived at 11:30 already), but the blond elegant lady at the reception were so kind letting us know that we might be lucky there are rooms would be ready after our lunch. And since I have my little Pomeranian traveling with me, she asked about her name and being very friendly to my dog. After our meal, we came back to see our luck, and the long hair handsome guy from the reception told us we have been upgraded, and the room is ready :) After entering the room, there are dog bowls, bed and even a cute toy on the table with a card written: to our amazing guest Kugel (my dog’s name)!! It’s so amazing and so sweet of them!! Not even this, the hotel has an amazing beautiful old elevator, the room is not very big, but very stylish, even though facing the train station but still very quiet, shower is very clean and bright, pillows are very firm, bed is comfortable, not too soft, I really enjoy staying at this hotel :)

The cleaning lady knocked our door at 9:30 in the morning even though we hang the do not disturb sign on the door, and after we haven’t got the time to react, she even tried to open the door with the hotel key card … My dog was scarred and barking so loudly, and she didn’t even react to it, after I opened to the door, she still didn’t realize it is not the room that she was supposed go to…

Located in front of the station is easy to arrive if you travel by train. Breakfast with good quality products and sufficient choices. Friendly and very helpful staff.

In the evening the area is not the most pleasant one (if you travel alone). There are construction works at one building located in close proximity and each morning at 7 - 7:30 they started work and the noise was quite annoying. I had a room on the 6th level - very small (compared to the rooms I had in my previous stays).
