A unique experience with various antique furniture. We felt the history of the building and the great Lithuanian hospitality at the breakfast.

A poor connectivity of WiFi. It was not connectable from the room. Also, the bathroom was a little disappointing because of the size and amenity.

The location is great! Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff were perfect! Breakfast served until 10:30 for those who like to sleep in. Breakfast was of very high quality. Each room is named after an author and the decor matches the author. The hotel is very charming and full of plants and paintings.

The ancient wiring meant that it wasn't possible to switch on the bedside light, without all the other lights being on at the same time. There were also a few teething problems with the internet, but it worked fine in the end.

Charming old style hotel in a calm and easily accessible area in Old Town. Spacious parking on inner yard. Entering hotel and rooms with code so very independent living. Nice breakfast, personal and ´home like´ interior. Kettle in room

No fridges in rooms. Was informed there was but when I asked it turned out no rooms have fridges. Staff can store things for you and bring back (when working, reception close at midnight). No mini bottles in bathroom, just dispensers. No blackout curtains- it got very light when sun got up. Kettle and some tea and coffee but no milk (you can order from restaurant though). Wall to wall carpets everywhere, didn´t bother me but might if you are sensitive. Breakfast starts at 8. More like a 3 star hotel than 4 star as announced.

Gabriela was exceptional. She was professional and thorough, helpful and friendly She accommodated us on our stay at the Shakespeare hotel.. she always had a big smile on her face when greeting us. We enjoyed our conversations with her. Yanos was also helpful, and friendly when we stayed there. He was always helping us when we required help and was efficient. We had many conversations with him, he was available to talk and help us when we needed it. Another gentleman that worked the morning shift was helpful also. We had a shorter time with him. He was very efficient and addressed our condolences cerns when we had any. The staff who worked the breakfast room. Were friendly and very efficient. They did their job with professionalism.. They all made our stay very enjoyable at The Shakespeare Hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The location was excellent too.. We noticed a smell in our room 302. It was a sewer type of smell. We told the front clerk about and he was going to have so.eone check it out. They did and it was less after that. It was better but not completely gone. The bathtub was very deep and required caution getting in and out of it to shower.

For visitors of Vilnius who like to explore the city the location of this hotel is really fantastic. Everything is within 10-15 min walk reachable. The hotel itself has a relaxing atmosphere, decorated with furniture that is not antique but simply old, heavy and robust chairs and couches, nicely chosen colors and lots of open woodwork (but how the construction of building is remains somewhat a mistery) simple roomy rooms that have everything. Good beds and great breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every moment. You can hear you neighbours shuffling with chairs and sometimes aloud laugh, it was never a real issue. Friendly and polite staff (young) sometimes a bit reserved maybe.

Heating, it can be very warm in the room (winter was -9C at night, -5 during the day and 20cm snow) bit difficult to get it right, opening a window is a solution.

Absolutely beautiful, very comfortable hotel. The room is large, very nice interior, there were slippers, an electric kettle with coffee and tea bags, a large bathroom with a jacuzzi. The bed was large and very comfortable. There was also free parking in the hotel yard, where there was a lot of free space, so after checking out of the hotel, we could keep the car there for half a day while we visited a few more museums. I really liked that the rooms are unlocked with a code, so don't need to carry any cards or keys when going to city. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.

Some devices are old (e.g. air conditioner or hair dryer), but they worked well and didn't bother us.

The hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town, which is very convenient for walks and sightseeing. A pleasant bonus was the free parking, which is a rarity in this part of the city. The room is spacious, equipped with a kettle, tea and coffee, and the large bed ensures a comfortable night's sleep. The breakfast is tasty and quite varied. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help.

Among the drawbacks, I'd note the weak soundproofing: noise from neighboring rooms can sometimes be heard. The building is old, which adds a special atmosphere, but in my opinion, it could benefit from a light cosmetic renovation. Overall, the impression is positive and I can recommend this hotel.

located in a historical building in a small, quiet road just in the city centre, in the middle between the cathedral/castle square and the S. Anna Church, also very close to the "republic of Uzupis". The hotel is not too big and is tastefully furnished with period materials and furniture. Self service breakfast with all you need, good quality and variety, in a wonderful breakfast room. At my arrival, I realized I had lost my wallet in the taxi. The staff did everything they could to help me (by the way, they couldn't reach him, but the taxi driver spontaneously came back to return my wallet)

Shakespeare Boutique Hotel is one of the loveliest places to stay in Vilnius . The brilliant location is just one of the highlight . The best part of the property is the sheer charm it emanates, the tastefully designed rooms, corridors , lobbies , restaurant . Besides the comfort , the staff is simply wonderful. Special thanks to the chef and restaurant staff for curating finest vegan breakfast every morning ensuring a wonderful start to my day . Please do not start your trip to the Baltics with Shakespeare Hotel because after staying here , you won’t like any other Hotel !
