What an amazing stay we had at Traders KL! Firstly, a BIG THANK YOU to each one of you for taking care of us. Everything from breakfast, room cleaning, pool, view from the room and poolside, hotel facilities, staff helpfulness, spa, hotel location, buggy service, and all was just spot on, making our stay at Traders unforgettable! We are not a great fan of long-haul travelling; however, whenever we need a relaxing and fun-filled holiday, we’ll be back to KL and only for another stay at Traders. Traders was recommended to us, and we’re glad we took up the recommendation. Thank you for pampering us :)

Everything was Perfect!

We love the location of the hotel, which is just right next to the KLCC park and very close to KLCC. The buggy service provided is also convenient. The view from there is amazing though. The newly refurbished room looks nice and is of a decent size and the bed is quite comfortable. The bathroom comes with a bath tub, which is nice. The sink area lights up, very practical at night time especially and we don't have to turn on the other lightings. Breakfast spread is nice and delicious, with a variety of food and different stations on offer. The nasi lemak can be improved though especially the sambal and rendang. The staff are among the best I've encountered so far and they really tried their best to accommodate your requests and concerns, especially Hanis (the receptionist) and Sha and Aishah (cafe hosts). The highlight of our stay would be the simple but very nice birthday decoration prepared for my daughter by the hotel, which shows that the hotel is willing to go the extra mile to make your stay at Traders a memorable one.

Upon entering the room for the first time, we noticed there was a cleaning cloth left on the floor near the sofa, but they quickly rectified the situation and apologized to us. The pool is weirdly positioned, which is in the middle of the sky bar, so we did not feel like using the pool. The buggy service is not operational during heavy rain, which is a hassle but understandable. There was one incident where we were waiting for the buggy before 10 pm but the service was just suddenly ended (not so professionally handled in my opinion) when it came to our turn (there were other guests waiting there too), which was so disappointing. We had to ask if he was coming back for us since the buggy was already full but just got a 'no' as the reply.

I like almost everything. The room was really nice. It had everything we needed and even more. The staff is polite and helpful. The location is awesome. The next time we visit KL, we’ll definitely stay there again.

The rooftop bar was much to be desired. It was more like a beach bar, and the cocktails were average. But it wasn’t a big deal, actually. What was a big deal, is a woman who checked us out, she was pretty aggressive and impolite. I had a few questions about my payment and the way she answered them was just inappropriate. It almost ruined all the impression.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked the buggy to the towers, that was very handy. The room was kept very clean.

I was not keen on the swimming pool or the bar.

The hotel's location simply exceeded all expectations. However, what I would like to mention the most is the hospitality of the staff. All of my requests were accommodated (and I used almost every service available, from the spa to laundry and room service), and every interaction with the staff was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to stay!

nice room, in my case with a good view, close to KLCC, nice pool and gym facilities, basically everything worked well. I'd highly recommend if you are going to attend an event in KLCC. The breakfast is generally good. As a vegetarian, I have to say that they do a good job in marking the items. I just hope that there can be some nuts.

Everything is good, except for two: (1) The hotel sent multiple promotional, spam message through booking.com's messaging system, which is really annoying. I wish there is a way to stop it. (2) Rude guests cut into the line twice, and the staffs seemed not be able to handle it. In one case I had a problem with my room key and I was on my way to a meeting that is time sensitive, but a guest showed up later while I was waiting. When I said I came earlier, she insisted for a quick check out but ending up checking multiple times for the email for the receipt and it took a lot of time. One cannot control the guest behavior but they can help the staff to be more attentive to such problems.

The pool area, however, could benefit from improvement. It felt overcrowded and lacked sufficient regulation. The placement of chairs allowed for dining immediately adjacent to swimmers, which diminished the atmosphere and made the space less appealing. Similarly, the drinks at the SkyBar did not meet expectations in terms of quality. All rooms should have tissues and a prayer mat.

Firstly, the staff are amazing and the rooms are impeccable. I checked in late and my requests were met, I wanted a higher floor to take in the full reason I chose this hotel: to watch the towers from my room. The rooms were soundproof (you couldn’t hear the noise outside!) and they used blackout curtains to block light which for me is a huge deal when deciding a hotel. Everything was enjoyable and comfortable. I didn’t use it, but the buggy was great to see used by guests! The area is great if you want to see and be around KLCC and the towers. But it is a 10-15 mins walk to the city itself and the shopping there. There’s plenty of restaurants and cafes around the towers/mall to keep you going, but beware of google maps and it hasn’t quite figured out walking places properly!

The air con was a little noisy even on the lowest fan setting. It’s just white noise I eventually tuned out. The TV remotes were hard to get working and had to press the button repeatedly. These are all minor things though!

The location is the best. Right in front of KLCC park within the walking distance to Petronas towers. It is in the center but quiet. Fast check in and check out. Staff is amazing, kind, very helpful and responding fast to any requests. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and big enough. Comfortable cushions and clean bed sheets. Design of interior was simple, minimal. I had three bottles of water every day. Selection of tea. Electric kettle and all facilities mentioned in the Booking website. Daily room cleaning. The air condition was cooling the room perfectly. The rooftop bar has the perfect view of Petronas Towers.

However I was disappointed with the loud noise of air condition that did not let me sleep. I had to turn it off during the night. The room remained cool so it was ok. I was surprised to have cheap instant Nescafe in the room. I would rather expect to have a mini coffee machine in the room in such a hotel. I could hear in my room the elevators working. On the second day one of the lights in the bathroom stopped working. Breakfast could have had more fresh veggies options. The rooftop bar had cheap vibe and very cheap music. I was expecting something with more style and quality. The food was good.
