I got the room on the 3rd floor..Really loved it ..Big room with a king bed..The sitting area in the room was really nice ..Deco of the room was really outstanding..Bathroom was huge ..Nothing to complain about in that room..Everything was perfect..Staff was very polite, friendly and so helpful. Has a person who doesn't normally have breadfast..This is one of the best breadfast I had ..The breadfast was so delicious 😋 and outstanding..It made me feel at home during my young days ..Everything was perfect from the porridge, spaghetti , nasi Lemak with the chicken rending, Bihun and lots more . Enjoyed every moment of my breadfast..Only thing I feel maybe a coffee machine could be installed so guest can get a latte for breadfast will be great ..

We loved the unique blend of Dutch and Baba Nyonya architecture — it gave the hotel a lot of charm and authenticity. Our room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. It was a lovely touch that the air conditioning was already on when we arrived, especially in Malacca’s heat. The location is excellent — right in the heart of the heritage zone. We could walk to all the major sightseeing spots, including Jonker Street, Dutch Square, and the riverfront. Breakfast was basic but decent, with an egg station available. Parking is limited and located at the back, but staff were helpful in guiding us.

As it’s a heritage building, you’ll hear the occasional creak from upstairs and some street noise, including music from the colourful trishaws that pass by. This didn’t ruin our experience but is something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a hotel full of history, comfort, and convenience.

Breakfast - simple and good. delicious. Location - perfect. Room - Clean, big and comfy Private parking secure too. Walking distance to many good food places.

The room is large. The location was excellent and conveniently situated near Jonker street and the attractions. We were surprised by the variety of breakfast options. Security parking was also provided by them.

For breakfast, there should be a wider selection of beverages, such as Milo, cappuccino.

Beautiful old building with lots of atmosphere. Very friendly staff. All sights within walking distance.

No hot water in the shower. The breakfast was very poor, only two choices (Malaysian or American, which was actually British given the beans and sausages that came with the eggs on toast) and not very tasty. The beautiful authentic blinds in the room are not blocking the light and sunlight properly, and very loud plumbing sounds so needed to wear my eye mask and ear plugs.

The rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable and decor is lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Our rooms were on the third floor and there are no lifts. Stairs are steep. It is not suitable for seniors to stay here. Didn't like that the screens / toilet glass walls in the rooms were not fully covered by film sticker. One part of the toilet glass there was vertical blinds, which didn't fully provide privacy. The film of the toilet doesn't start from the top of the glass panel. As the bed is placed next to the bed, we had the light shine on our face if someone switches on the light at night. There wasn't a night light. One switch controls all the lights. You are either in total darkness or have bright lights on.

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, cheerfully served in pleasing surroundings. The hotel has been carefully and well restored, the room was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. The hotel is quiet, excellently located within walking distance of points of interest. We greatly appreciated the way the restoration of the hotel had preserved its historical character. Altogether we have had a delightful stay in a charming place, and could not be more satisfied!

For us, it was perfect. My only caveat would be that if you find stairs a problem, this would be a difficulty. And I would have loved to have more detailed information on the history of the house and its use.

Love the suite - elegant and comfortable. The suites are well designed ala Peranakan style, as advertised. The staff are excellent - resolved issues almost immediately. Special thanks to Sofia and Amni, who were ever so responsive and helpful. Also, special thanks to the engineering team.

No elevators. It is not recommended for people with limited walking ability. However, the staff and management are sensitive enough to accommodate requests in order to resolve this issue. Thank you, Najwa & Sofia.

The traditional Malaysian decor of this hotel was beautiful and intricate. It made us feel like royalty. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, a road leading off jonker street (the main street attraction) but also much quieter and some interesting buildings nearby.

Nothing much - don't forget to turn on the switch for water heater if you want hot water ! It was off when we arrived but staff were very helpful to show us.

All staff were friendly and helpful. Daniel was very understanding that we have a infant and definitely needed a quieter room. He went the extra mile to ensure that we have a pleasant and comfortable stay. Not forgotting that he also treated us with their local nyonya Kuey which are all very delicious. I really appreciate Daniel hospitality throughout our 3 nights there. Thank you.

The poor soundproofing and also the floor that make noises when you walk. Having said that we understand that it is a old building. If there is a chance to improve, these two points will help to improve the stay.
