The location is perfect for walking the beach, finding restaurants and bars within a short walk, or walking into town. The grounds are very well-kept. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. All you need to do is relax by one of the pools or on the beach. The staff takes care of everything for you and they are so friendly and helpful.

Let’s address the noise issue you’ve all read about: yes, there is construction noise. I would challenge you to find a place to stay in Puerto Escondido where you will not have construction noise! It is a booming place and with that comes noise. It may last until early evening but certainly doesn’t go into the nighttime. It starts again in the morning around 8:00am so if you like to sleep til noon you may need earplugs. We were worried about it before we arrived but once we experienced it we were ok.

Beautiful property in the perfect location. We are definitely going to stay here when we return! They are constantly adding new features and the staff is incredibly polite and amazing. Prices are also very reasonable. My husband and I did not hold back on spending and we only spent about $500 on food and drinks a seven night stay. Highly recommend

There is construction on the right side of the facility so make sure you request the left side if you don’t like to wake up early

The location of Casa Kuaa is ideal for anyone wanting to wake up and view the ocean out of their window. It s a little oasis off the busy strip in La Punta. There is a children's pool and an adults-only pool, with plenty of lounge chairs to relax poolside or beachside. There are games and hammocks also.

For the price per night, the rooms could have more amenities - a coffee maker, extra towels, t.v. The rooms seems a little bare-bones, although still stylish with a beachy, bohemian vibe.

The location is fantastic, right on the beach with private beach access and a short walk from restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and attentive. Various amenities to choose from, we had massages which were amazing. Great breakfasts too. Lots of sun-loungers to choose from.

The room was very small. There was a lot of building work going out outside which could be loud in the mornings. Also the restaurant could have more dining options for dinner.

The room was fantastic though expensive and not included breakfast for the price. The pool and being close to the beach was extraordinary

Noisy (!). Highly noisy. There are constructions and renovations all around the hotel and you literally wake up at 6am out of the noise. At night there’s a bar behind the hotel and the music is so loud and the walls are so thin you literally can hear it all. For the price I would definitely expected to have a decent breakfast. Breakfast isn’t included in the price.

We love being walking distance to anything in la punta, and only a ten minute cab ride to zicatela. The private beach is secluded and has a full service bar and you can get a massage right on the beach. When you’re ready to return to the action you can walk to any of the beach bars or to the bars in la punta.

Everything. I loved every second here. The premises are so nice and chill, it’s just about the right size. You can hear the ocean all the time, even from the room, which I really liked. We only had the standard double room, but it was spacious, clean and comfy. There are two nice pools, lots of sunbeds inside and outside the facilities directly at the beach, and some nice hammocks. The beach is super nice, and at least when we were there in February, totally safe to swim. The location also is amazing, in the second row which is 2 mins walking, are lots of nice restaurants and shops. The owner was very nice when we had a problem with our credit card, and also the rest of the staff was super helpful and nice. Judging from what I could see from the beachfront, Casa Kuaa seemed to be the best hotel in this area. It is great value for money, book it if you get a chance!

If there was one tiny thing, the staff at the bar is a bit slow but I didn’t mind much.

Perfect location on the beach. Uniquely designed units in a well landscaped garden with pools. Great food. Nice bar. Friendly staff. A short walk to the main drag with tons of food options and shopping. Long Beach walks! Nice for both families and couples as the pools were designated as such.

Shower pressure was very poor. But nice bath soaps!

It's really a lovely place. At first I was anxious because on road side it looks rustic, but as soon as you step in you're transported to a gorgeous grown up resort style feel. It's very well done with well kept gardens and the beach is right there with beds for use. There is a little beach bar and the food is amazing. The room is better than it looks in the photos. It was easily the best place we could have booked. It's short walk down the beach to the bars and restaurants. Air con was good. Bed was super comfy. Shower was great.

It's a little pricey but for us it was worth paying the extra

Absolutely phenomenal. Blown away at the location and the friendliness of the staff. On the water and in walking distance to amazing restaurants and cute shops. Stayed with 2 kids. We were worried about the construction we were warned about but we hardly noticed. La punta is absolutely adorable. We will definitely be back .
