Looks like it does in the pictures. It’s a small oasis which is close enough to the Main Street in La Punta, but still feels like you can get away from everything if you want to. We really enjoyed our stay here and the cleaning staff seemed nice as well. It is true that you don’t have any general staff walking around but on WhatsApp they respond quickly so for us this wasn’t an issue at all and even added to the tranquility and privacy. The room we booked was a bit on the smaller side so there’s not enough room for 2 full backpacks/suitcases, but this wasn’t really an issue for us. Other than that the property is clean. It’s true that the showers don’t always work properly in terms of temperature, but we’ve found this to be true in all of Oaxaca, so I am not sure we can really fault the property for that.

This is not the hotels fault, but I think it’s good to mention as it could ruin someone’s stay if they are already afraid of dogs. The area is mostly safe, but the final bit (couple hundred meters) you need to cross to get to the hotel feels a bit dodgy. The area there gets more residential and there were some nasty dogs in the streets close to the property and they attacked me and my boyfriend without provocation. We thought this was maybe only during the evening, but we also saw them attack another girl during the day who was just running past. After that we stuck to the big main roads to get to the hotel. We had a friend who stayed in a different area and this also happened to him in one of the more residential areas so it seems a thing about the La Punta area in general.

Absolutely loved our stay here! We booked the two bed villa and the space was amazing. We loved the lounge net over the entrance, the free drinking water station in the open kitchen and, although we didn't use the pool area much, it was great to know it was there and was well kept and maintained. The villa was cleaned every day and the onsite staff were wonderful. The location was great, a little hard to find at first but just a short 10/15min walk to the main stretch, but away from it enough to ensure it was quiet and we got a good nights sleep.

The location is excellent because it is away from restaurants, bars and hostels that could be noisy. It's on a street 5 min from the center. There are a couple of buildings under construction near the house but we did not hear any noise at night. I loved that the pool was cleaned often and thoroughly, it really looked clean and neat.

I wish there was a solution to the access as we were only given one pair of keys for a group of 4. Naturally, groups will divide and sometimes one person might be coming in later than others. It would be more convenient if at least the main gate was openable by a code or if the lock boxes outside the facilities were free to use throughout the stay.

The place was really nice. The pool area is very comfortable and the great for chilling at during the day. The rooms are big and spacious, plus the beds are comfy. In general a very nice stay and the checkin process was very easy.

The location is a bit out of the way, you have to walk about 10-15 mins to the center and it is all downhill, so this means walking back is all uphill. I would recommend getting a scooter or some sort of transportation to get around.

We really like this stay in Puerto Escondido. We can’t really fault it. Especially the people who worked there! It’s well designed, although its very new and needs a few finishing details to make it really shine. It was quiet and restful. We enjoyed the pool

It’a a new place so they may need some time to fix some minor issues. The roof on the top terrace leaks. The little kitchenette downstairs is really too hot to use during a good part of the day but all those areas are useful and important. We arrived early at midday (there is no check in area. It’s remote check it) and sat in the downstairs area for half an hour. We left because it was just too hot. Seems to be the normal in PE. Everywhere is very hot. A few fans might rectify these minor things.

Loved the architecture and the lay out. The swimming pool was great. It was a quiet place, spacious villa for four people. Loved the net at the top of the stairs to lay in.

The common room in the villa was very warm with no AC or fan. One of the showers did not work properly and we were not able to use it. The dish rag and sponge in kitchen stunk!

Beautiful and spotlessly clean building in a really nice location. The beds were amazing and I’d definitely stay there again anytime.

Very small thing, but I asked for a late checkout and the hotel was completely empty but they still wanted to charge me for a late checkout. It would have been nice to be offered that free if charge if no other guests are there anyway.

Property is great, very safe and comfortable!

Nothing wrong with the property but the condo itself. No air conditioning in the living room but bedrooms did have, that is why I gave it a 9 instead of a 10. Other than that, the place was awesome!

Clean, new, nice pool that was cold (exactly what you want when the weather is so hot). Had a nice rooftop and kitchenette

Not much for the price point

a great place to stay in La Punta that is clean, has AC, a pool, huge bed and good bathroom with excellent shower pressure. it’s about 8 mins up from the Main Street so was really quiet at night but so easy to get into the hustle and bustle. gorgeous pool with garden and a lovely roof terrace to enjoy a sundowner on.

would have really appreciated drinking water in the room but there are water facilities at the pool area
