Great rustic small hotel. We booked a 2 full bed room on first floor and the 3rd floor suite. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach over some rough dirt and partially paved roads. Staff was very friendly and greeted us to give us a tour of the facilities and were very helpful in getting us a taxi pickup arranged when my cell phone broke and wasn’t useable. The king bed in the suite is very comfortable and the air movement is fantastic up there and cool. The beds in the first floor room were a little lumpy/ had some hard spots but I’ve definitely had worse. The 3rd floor suite had heated water although the shower head had a failed seam so I felt bad that much of the water sprayed directly onto the wall and wasn’t used! The downstairs shower was not heated but the temp wasn’t uncomfortably cold. There were mosquitos in the 3rd floor room as it’s all open to air but the staff does as much as they can to help. The downstairs room had screens on the door and windows so the mosquitos weren’t as bad although there were ants on the bed occasionally. Overall for the price I was happy with our stay and appreciated the kindness of the staff! I’d come here again but not with my 83 year old mom like we did this trip! The spiral stairs to the 3rd floor were a little treacherous.

Super cute place in a great location! Laurien, who used to manage the hotel during my stay is super lovely! I stayed in two different rooms (first the apartment in the back and then a room upstairs). I definitely enjoyed the room in the main house a lot more, it was spacious and clean. The shared outside kitchen is lovely and there's a nice co-working spot in the garden with good internet.

The apartment in the secondary house could use an upgrade, it seems a bit outdated, the WiFi doesn't reach there at all, the stairs are a bit dangerous and the bedroom upstairs heats up extremely, I couldn't really sleep at night. It would also be nice if shower gel was provided at least.

I had a very important meeting online at night which was the whole reason for us to stay in a hotel for two days, unfortunately the Internet disappeared in the afternoon/ evening the day before and hadn't come back till our check out next day. I know it may be my bad luck only, but still, it tainted my stay. I was waking up at night to check if it works, talking to staff etc, and eventually had to cancel my meetings last minute; Cold water in showers; if you're downstairs, the main common area and the kitchen is just in front of your bedroom window which means it may get loud + you need to keep your curtains shut

The place is very peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are quite spacious, clean and the interior design makes it look very calming. I love the earthy tones and simple look. The staff is also friendly and chill and we had a great stay.

The only downside is that the wifi is a bit weak at times, but it seems to be a common thing here in Mexico

The showers, we knew there is no hot water but the pressure of the water and the condition of the showers/ bathrooms could be improved. You have to shower for a fairly long time to get any sand off yourself and I didn’t even attempt to wash my hair because of the pressure.

Clean and beds were very comfortable. the garden is very nice. Staff was also helpful and nice. We left the hotel in the afternoon and offered to rent a room (full price) in order to leave our luggage during the day and take showers before departing.

Some of our rooms didn’t hace hot water. Facilities are limited (access to main road and restaurants is a 10 min walk away, drinking water not available, wifi didn’t work all the time).

The property featured an amazing courtyard and the king deluxe rooms were amazing. The rooms had windows either side which allowed for a nice breeze to cool the room. The hotel staff member was beyond friendly and went about her work quietly and with a warm smile, she was amazing!

The rooms were great but the shower had hardly any hot water or water pressure. The fan also made some noise when in use, still great value and would recommend to stay.

Wonderful hotel that really gives you everything that is in the name a magical spot and even more magical from the moment you check in the team will help you out with information on taxis, activities and other stuff. Great spot

The hotel has everything you need, it has got A/C in the room plus a fan, beds are nice and the room is spatious for 2 people. Bathroom was small and no place to put your stuff. the pictures were of a nicer room with a terrace

I thought we booked the room from the pictures that has a terrace, not everyday there was cleaning of the room, no shampoo or soap supplied

El Eden is a very cute little guest house. I stayed in the terrace/suite which has no doors, only curtains to keep out the elements, if you wamt to. I never closed them - it's so lovely to sleep (in a comfortable, mosquito net covered bed) so close to nature. The terrace looks over the gardens which are lovely, and to the ocean. The team were friendly and super helpful. Everything was kept clean. Plus it's only a short walk to La Punta beach, shops, bars and restaurants.
