The staff was amazing at Bora. We booked a 6 night stay last minute after being very disappointed with our Airbnb. They accommodated with a very early check in as well. The food was delicious, drinks good, bed super comfortable! The upstairs deck was a brilliant touch. The staff worked hard to keep the property clean and in great condition The pool had direct sunlight so it was perfect temperature. Plenty cabanas for each guest. They gave great recommendations, helped with laundry and was always helpful. There is plenty of parking for ATVs scooters or even a car rental.

Wish the whirlpool jets worked a bit more

The location was great - a little off the beaten track but a relatively 10-15 min easy downhill walk to the shops & beach. You will most likely need to get a cab back but the fares are reasonable and it takes >5mins. The pool area was amazing! You could stay there all day and enjoy the great service from staff and soak up the sun on the generously sized sun beds. Also, very cool that each room has it's own rooftop terrace. Rooms are all off the pool so unless you keep the curtains closed it's not superrr private. However, they were modern, spacious and the beds were huge and very comfy. The staff were so friendly and hospitable. The food & drinks were great and came out quickly! I would live there if possible - highly recommend. Thank you BORA :)

Amazing hotel retreat in Puerto Escondido. We stayed here for 3 nights and had the most relaxing stay away from the crowds in La Punta. Thank you to Jacquelin for making the most amazing smoothies (“El Jefe” smoothie) and to Lendi and the rest of the Team for the friendly, attentive service, for helping to arrange taxis and for serving a delicious dinner. The hotel is very luxurious as each room has it’s own garden terrace and outdoor shower. The pool was thoroughly cleaned every morning too. Highly recommend for your stay in Puerto Escondido

Our stay at Bora Boutique was fantastic. Everything was super comfortable and clean. The design is really pretty and we felt that it was a peaceful and relaxing escape from the beach front which is much busier. We were especially pleased that we were able to check out late (6pm!) at no extra cost, which was very generous.

The roads to the hotel are not built up so you need to walk on uneven pathways to get down to the main town but this is just how this part of town is. It’s not a problem getting taxis if you prefer not to walk at night on this terrain.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Less than 10 minutes down the hill to the hustle and bustle of La Punta. Which made it the perfect location because it was so peaceful and quiet while being so close to the action. Everyone who works at the hotel was beyond lovely and helpful. The selection and quality of food and drinks was great and had everything you could have wanted. I really could not recommend Bora Boutique Hotel more.

Everything. It was the most gorgeous space. The beds were huge and so comfortable. Lovely air con rooms for when it was so hot. The pool area was gorgeous. The food was absolutely delicious too! It was so nice having our own little sitting area above our room too. It was only about a 10 minute walk from the Main Street in La punta, which was perfect as it meant it was really nice and quiet but also close enough to everything. We were working a bit whilst we were there too and the internet was great. Staff were super lovely and accommodating to everything we asked for. Overall it was such a lovely experience and would highly recommend.

The place is absolutely stunning. As you see it in the pictures - that's how it looks like when you enter. The rooms are spacious, very clean and modern. The place is beautiful and calm. It is very close to the beach and main streets of Puerto Escondido yet the hotel is in a calm area where you can truly rest. Having a rental car is preferable because a Taxi can get expensive. A rental car is a cheaper and better option. Breakfast was very good but there are many places where you can go to eat down at the beach. I definitely recommend this place!

Very comfortable rooms/beds. Modern upscale bathroom. Nice pool/rooftops. There is s great place only 2 min walking distance to see the sunset/ocean.

A little challenging to navigate speaking english. Menu mostly in spanish, limited english among staff (but they made an effort!). My impression was that the hotel was very new and still trying to figure things out. My suite did not have much of an ocean view, but some do. The kitchen seemed to open around 09, and the food was very basic, but OK. Amazing beds, not the best pillows (only the firm round type usually reserved for decorative purposes).

The property is beautiful and perfect for pool time and needing a place that makes meals for a reasonable price.

It is clear they are a new property and still figuring some things out. One night the kitchen chef left early and I tried ordering a late dinner (around 8pm) and couldn’t. But after that they started letting me know if the kitchen would close early.

Staff were lovely and helpful at all times, lovely place to stay

15 minutes uphill from the main place for restaurants and bars but nothing of the hotels fault.
