The location of this hotel is the best of all the island. I will be staying here again. Dont expect a 5 star hotel because it is not. It is clean, the sheets are cleaned as well as the towels, restrooms, and rooms. It is also SAFE. All rooms have a small FRIGO BAR which translates to a small refrigerator. Our cleaning lady was super nice and very thorough in her cleaning of the room. It is an older building as stated dont expect 5 star hotel. We got our rooms in the TOWER ROOM SECTION. Which has a balcony where you can see the ocean every morning or afternoon. The proximity to playa Norte doesn't beat anything else. Please note the chairs on the beach even though owned by them are not included you pay $27 dollars ($450 pesos) per day for two chairs and an umbrella. Also, they start picking them up by 5:00pm. The door that leads to the beach is also closed after 5:00pm. Which you will have to go through the front street and around the hotel. They have a pool which opens at 9:00am and it shuts down at 9:00pm for "cleaning". We also rented a golf cart from them for 24 hours it costs $95.00 they will keep your driver license so just an FYI. They have water towers to refill your water jar that is provided in your room. Or if you travel with a water container you can fill it up. Also note there is no Wi-Fi like others stated in your room only near the pool area. That small area is filled with mosquitos so bring mosquito repellant. The Wi-Fi does work around the pool though. The front staff was nice. They act like they dont understand you BUT they do. I think they just act that way towards tourist people because of the constant complaining. Here I go: My only complaint was the young girl at front just looks at you like she does not get it and just walks off on you when you are talking she has no manners sadly is the only complaint I had of the place. Beach chairs should be included in our stay but sadly they are not.

Right on one of most amazing beaches in the world! You don’t rent a car on this island just walk everywhere, r I’ll shops and restaurants. Beautiful garden setting. No frills rustic not for the complainer type. Clean, safe, comfortable, there was a safe in the room.

Can hear noise from the town. No frills rustic… not for the complainers.

The location and the garden is extraordinary. The beach in front of it is heaven on earth, especially if you’re there in off season. It’s way less crowded. The room is fine, it’s not the newest and very basic but the location is definitely why you book this place.

They could invest a bit more in updating their rooms comfort wise.

Breakfast poor, coffee and warm bread (toast). Grounds well landscaped, wish they would pick up cigarette butts. Staff late to open twice. Always waited long at reception for them to appear.

Perfect location on one of the top beaches in the world. Golf cart rental and beach lounger rental available at this hotel.

Rooms are outdated, but for the price and location it’s a good place to lay your head at night.

This hotel is right at the beach, Playa Norte, which is very convenient. The garden and pool are bery well kept and the property is very clean. I enjoyed having a balcone looking out at the beach and water. Staff is very nice and accomodating. It was my fifth time at Isla Mujeres and by far the best, mostly because of this hotel which I will definitely be returning to.

The property and restaurant was right on Norte Beach which is the main beach area - the best location. Cold purified water available in the hallway

The original room purchased (ground floor cabanas) we were given was mouldy and dirty so we had to request to change to the Castle room which we had to pay extra for (thankfully not much) but it wasnt ideal to have to change rooms after 29 hours of travelling and being so late at night. Castle rooms were significantly better and massively improved out trip/stay

The location of this hotel is unbeatable for access to the beach at Playa Norte as well as shops, bars and food outlets. The more modern Castle Rooms I have stayed in are spacious and airy while the Ground Floor / Cabanas have lovely rustic decor and charm. Both are very reasonably priced compared to the fancier places nearby

When I have visited wi-fi has only been available in the pool area / reading nook and Buho’s cafe, which is not ideal

I think I would like to see more comfortable seating chairs or put weatherproof cushions on wooden chairs/rocking chairs.
