The location of this hotel is great, while it's not on the beach, it is very close walking distance, and it's right in town and a short walk to the nightlife. The property itself is quite big, the pool is beautiful, the vibe is cool.

This property has a lot of potential, some attention to the details and using the vibe to have people hang out, music at the pool, food/drink service at the pool could really elevate this property.

The staff was wonderful, especially Alex. The location of the property was close to the beach and within an easy walk to restaurants yet far enough away from noisy night clubs. The room with 2 full beds and a kitchenette adequately accommodated our family of four considering the price. The AC and window blinds worked well too.

The beds were a bit firm and pillows could use a refresher. Storage and hangers for clothes could be improved.

The property manager, Alex, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, accommodating and really just lovely. There were a couple unexpected hiccups upon arrival but she handled them with grace.

There could be some freshening up of the property but overall it did meet the needs of our group.

Alex was so nice to us. Cleaning staff was amazing! 2 from our group had the best massages they ever had in their lives

We booked a suite at Paradise Suites for six nights and we are very happy we did. We had been staying at another hotel which was on a busy street and it was much too noisy and we needed some place more cozy and quiet and Paradise Suites ended up being perfect for us. At check in we met Alex the hotel manager and all the staff went out of her way to be sure the suite was to our liking and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We had an interior suite which faced a courtyard with kitties and iguanas. Although we had done plenty of snorkeling, it was nice having a pool available and we really enjoyed spending time there. I highly recommend getting an interior suite so that you are tucked away from the street which isnt as busy as the downtown area but still there is plenty of tourist activity with people walking about. Paradise Suites is conveniently located close to small convenience stores, a larger market just a few blocks away, plenty of restaurants and food carts. Altogether, if you want to be close to downtown Isla Mujeras, close to beaches but do not want to stay in a noisy and crowded hotel, Paradise Suites will be the perfect place for you.

the only thing I didn’t like is that they use to have security at the door at night. I didn’t recall that being the case anymore. playa norte is very safe but when you are traveling alone it’s still nice to have someone who works at the hotel at night

THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT. VERY QUITE. THE ROOM AND GROUNDS HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED TO HAVE A RELAXING VACATION.

SERVICING THE ROOM WAS VERY INCONSISTENT. SINCE TOILET PAPER COULD NOT BE FLUSHED, WE HAD TO ASK DAILY THAT TRASH BE EMPTIED. ONE DAY I REQUESTED A BROOM TO SWEEP THE ROOM. IT WOULD HELP TO HAVE A MAT ON THE DECK TO WIPE DEBRIS OFF OUR SHOES, SO WE WOULD NOT BRING INTO OUR SUITE.

Best thing is the location. Convenient to the beach and main area. The feeling of being secluded and peaceful was nice.

Small shower, shower heads that partially sprays water, bed linens and towels with stains.

it’s a quiet enclosed “compound” hidden away from the busy streets! I love how it still felt a little jungle-ish, sand, boardwalks, plants growing wild, the rustic pool cabanas. the patios, etc are great for relaxing, the pool was very clean and calm. plenty of chairs and spaces to relax. the Decor is very boho / artsy, with eastern meditation themes mingled with contemporary art. The beds are SO comfortable, Alex the manager helped us with anything we needed and check in and check out were so easy! everyone was so kind. we will definitely return, the pricing was also very affordable compared to others in this north part of the island. a very very short walk to the lagoon by Guru’s or the main playa Norte beach.

We had a very comfortable stay here! The property was lovely and had loads of space. The staff where all very kind and always happy to help! The location was amazing right on top of the beach with plenty of restaurants.

We feel the hotel could do with a general update. In particular the pool area would improve largely with sun beds for the guests! The shower in our room wasn’t the best as the water would flow through holes in the doors.
