We had a nice stay overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the property is peaceful and quiet — a rare find. One of the best parts was how close it is to what’s arguably the nicest beach on the island, just steps away.

A few things to keep in mind: the hotel is located on the wilder side of the ocean, so it tends to be quite windy, with strong waves. During our stay, the beach was fully covered in seaweed, which unfortunately made it nearly impossible to walk into the water. The shower and jacuzzi faucets were also a bit tricky — it took us a while to figure out how to get the water running and adjust the temperature properly. Lastly, while the AC cools the room well, the sheets provided are extremely thin. I ended up catching a cold just from leaving the air on overnight. It would be helpful if thicker blankets were available as an option.

It's all about the location. Beautiful grounds and you can be in the pool and look at the waves in the ocean. It's quiet but right near all the restaurants and Norte beach. Just perfect! We have stayed here twice and will stay there again next year. I highly recommend this place. You can really enjoy the ocean views because the beach isn't crowded like it is on Playa Norte and when you want to swim in the ocean, all you have to do is go on a short walk around the rocks and you're right on Norte beach.

There aren't many pool/beach chairs and the a lot of the beach chairs are broken and uncomfortable. But we weren't sitting down long as we spent most of the time in the water.

Very cute hotel off the main path but a great location; loved the hammock and small pool outside of our room and also loved the main pool overlooking the ocean. Large rooms with fridge and microwave. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to the popular Hidalgo street and the beautiful North Beach.

Really need to have bottled water readily available even if we have to purchase it. Maybe just have a vending machine with beverages and snacks. They provided one water dispenser in the conference room which was not super convenient. Beds were very firm with scratchy sheets and hard pillows.

The staff is very friendly and I enjoyed that they have large filtered water stations throughout the hotel to eliminate plastic bottle waste and provide plenty of water to their guests. I even left my pillow on the last stay and they were able to return it upon my next visit! It has a residential feel, very relaxed and accommodating. It has very hot water, which is nice! They really protect your belongings when you are there if left in lobby or on the grounds. Loved the outdoor terrace and jacuzzi tub! I look forward to staying again soon as I have now stayed twice.

The beds are a bit uncomfortable and made it hard to get quality sleep. There were some electrical issues on the outdoor patio due to the humidity and after Beryl, so just be a bit careful to not stand in water to turn on any outside switches.

We booked the superior balcony room overlooking the sea, and the view was literally to die for. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend, with what felt like our own private beach and sea access (it is public but with low foot traffic). You are a few minute walk to the north beach. Large fridge to stock with local beer from the nearby supermarket. The pool area is adequate. With more attention this hotel could be something special.

To enjoy this hotel you need to look beyond the general lack of cleanliness (I believe the room is cleaned every two days, the hallways have large dustbins and are general unkept) and the unfriendly front of house staff (everyone else seemed nice).

Small boutique hotel on the north end of the island. Very quiet location with a private beach. Although the hotel is an older hotel, it certainly has much more charm than the big resorts. The room was beautiful, clean and bright. The staff were pleasant. The palm trees, vegetation and small garden features around the hotel made for a very relaxing stay. A few minutes walk to the town and about 10 minutes to the ferry. Very pretty location.

This is the best view in Isla mujeres. Such amazing value! I love that it's not on playa norte because it's not busy with tons of people and vendors. It's a 5 min walk to playa norte thoguht so you can go swimming (the beach it's on is not swimmable but very peaceful). Also a very close walk to lots of shops and restaurants. The pool is perfectly located. Plenty of chairs to lounge and the guy that works the little bar is great and will order and deliver delicious food at the pool area (since the hotel doesn't have a restaurant). I recommend this hotel to everyone because the balcony with the hammock overlooking the ocean is simply breathtaking. It's also nice that it's a small hotel (not like those huge resorts)

The room was great, obvious updates. I feel like we might have paid a bit too much thru booking.com. Location is awesome for our kids and adults. Staff is always friendly and helpful, especially Franco. We adore him, such a nice lad.

Recommendations for order in food. They didn't have any at front desk.

The location is wonderful. The staff addresses any needs promptly.

It has gotten so big that the pool area is too small for number of guests. People get up very early to put towels on all the lounges to “save” them and often don’t come back to the pool for 3-4 hours

Love the location...quiet yet 2 min walk to north beach. Very relaxing. I loved the beach right outside property...tons of shells and sea glass.. room had comfy beds/ mini fridge and safe....and right outside our room was bottled water dispenser....saved us so much $$.

Shower design concept....no shower curtain and glass wall is only half...so floor was wet. But such a small thing. Hot water was plentiful and good shower
