Pay no attention to the false reviews on this property. Notice that all those reviews are from accounts with just one review. Fake! There are no bugs, the service is incredible, the place is top notch and immaculate. With your room comes access to an exclusive pool at Oceanvs Club steps away from your room only for guests of this Hotel and it is great. You get guaranteed beach chairs or day beds and you can charge your service directly to the room. They cleaned the room every day and replaced the high quality towels. One of the best places I've ever stayed in Mexico period let alone Isla. Couldn't recommend more

Breakfast, location, staff, all excellent. We loved our stay here, and would highly recommend this property. Amazing beach location, and literally a 10 minute walk to anywhere you want.

A couple of small things. I asked for a glass of tap water at the beach bar, and was told quite sternly that this was not possible, and I had to spend money on a bottle of water. We received a glass of water every morning at breakfast no problem. I think this was a money grab. Can’t be a five star hotel and force people to buy bottles of water. Second was the lighting at night on the stairs and path leading out of the reception area. It was very dark at night, and needs some additional lighting to be safe.

The property was in an excellent location right on Playa Norte beach which is the best beach on the island! It was quiet in the evenings and just a short walk into town for dinner in the many restaurants. The bedroom was huge, the room and all of the amenities were great & the bed was very comfortable. Staff at the hotel reception were very friendly and very helpful. A particular thanks to Diego on the front desk who was fantastic!

The breakfast service in the beach club (next door) was very slow and the staff at the beach club doing breakfast service seemed uninterested. Whilst the a la carte breakfast itself was very good, we waited over 40 minutes both days for our food. This was a bit disappointing!

Proximity to the beautiful water. The front desk staff was very helpful and professional. With our reservation we got a free drink coupon to use at the restaurant. The beachside server, Sunny, was great! Cocktails were great! The restaurant was close and our server Rogelio was very nice! We had use of beach side lounging furniture. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. We had a balcony with partial beach and water view. They also have a spa across the street for massages.

It was a bit inconvenient to go to the front desk each time you need a beach towel. It would have been nice to have a beach towel station or a couple beach towels in the room. I would also recommend “table fly propellers” since we are in an area where there are many flies and it’s inconvenient to have to keep using your hand to swat at flies. If they put the propellers in the middle of the table then we won’t have to constantly be swatting.

Arguably the best location on the island, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff who were genuinely trying their best to be attentive. Master suite was very pleasant with plenty amenities and clean. Small and well-maintained property. Reserved beach seating for the hotel quests was an excellent idea, as it could sometimes get crowded on the beach with the locals.

Operation of the hot water in the shower could be improved, sometimes had to wait a long time for it. Music at the beach was at times loud, which appeared to be competing with the music from nearby resorts. Small communication issues with the staff sometimes due to language difficulties.

Lovely clean rooms, drinking water provided. Quiet pool area (we had it to ourselves pretty much every day so the kids could enjoy themselves and make noise). Huge portions for breakfast (which is included). Great location - 100m to beach and short walk to the town. Lovely beach beds including service from the bar and restaurant. Reception staff are incredible - very helpful and can arrange all sorts for you.

Service at the adjoining Oceanvs beach bar (where breakfast is served) can be very very slow. One day we waited 90 minutes for our breakfast! They paid for our drinks that we had that day to apologise but other orders such as drinks and lunch were also slow or one drink would arrive and then the other drink we ordered wouldn't arrive for another 20 minutes.

Everyone at the hotel was eceptionally courtieous and helpful. Our stay at the hotel felt welcomed. The facility was clean and spcious. The bed was comfy and luxurious as well. Despite the high heat and humidity on the island, the airconditioning made the room feel comfortable. The meals at breakfast were deliscious and memorable in their presenation and flavors. My favorite part is how the building is designed, the decor, and the landscaping of the property. It was so beautiful, I was reluctant to leave to go on any outings and definitley sad to leave to return home. When we return to the island, my boyfriend and I will certainly be staying here again!! You get so much value and more for what you pay for!

Nothing in particular was bad. It was a truly an enjoyable stay. The only thing customers might need to know ahead of time is that there's a wet bar and snack bar in the rooms. If you eat or drink anything out of here, you will be charged for it upon checking out.

What an amazing hotel in a fantastic location. It is right on Playa Norte, which is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The hotel has beautiful and spacious rooms with balconies. But the biggest plus is definitely the beautiful beach area with sunbeds for their guests. Breakfast is fantastic and served in the beach club OCEANVS. We spent our last days in Mexico here and enjoyed a couple of luxurious beach days there. Absolutely recommended!

Nothing, we had a fantastic stay at this hotel!

Gorgeous pool and restaurant looking over the ocean. Nice big beds and bathrooms. We had a jr suite which had a huge couch and patio.

The food was generally mediocre- fish tacos were great. Bar staff was really nice. The only lounger with any shade at 3 pm we were told “we have to move off or the staff will all get fired bc it’s the owners” but the owner wasn’t even there ~was ridiculous. After numerous calls and emails - Booking dot com will not respond or honor their price match- so book on the hotel website it’s much cheaper.

The location was amazing and it was great to have a pool and private beach. Really enjoyed our stay here.

It’s quite expensive as one of the nicer hotels on the island. But aside from that it was really amazing
