Quite a superb location. Close to everything. Conveniently placed along Ave. Constitución just before 5ta avenida. Free parking available for guest (a luxury here). Breakfast covers the most important items of a good breakfast and customer service here is superb. Especial for the front desk personnel such as Flor and the lobby men like Kevin. Rooms are comfortable, have a nice AC unit and cleanliness is top-notch. We did not use it. But right in the lobby is a Tour Agency with a repertoire of activities in case you need to do something extra or else previously not planned. This will be our go to hotel for stays at Playa del Carmen

Some aspects of the room's bathroom. Mainly, one of our hand towels had a stain on it that luckly got noticed before first use, and the sink's faucet easily splashing water outside due to it being a little too short for the position it was installed on.

Isaac at the reception did a good, thorough and professional job explaining about the hotel, perks of an IHG member and finding my reservation. The room is big with a helpful balcony. I was given a quiet area as requested when booking. Roomkeeping and cleanliness were very clean and the huge bed, very comfortable and exceptional. The shower was hot enough with ok pressure. I am very happy with the very central location especially during Carnival and would not hesitate to recommend to others and stay here again.

Breakfast could have more variety.

This hotel was spotless, and I would like to thank the GM, the breakfast staff and the hotel cleaners. They were exceptional. The breakfast had everything that anyone would want, and the employees were very friendly in spite of the fact that the hotel was fully booked. The location was perfect-centrally located and very easy to walk to store, the bank and restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable, and cozy.

Although the hotel had a stated policy of no refunds, my granddaughter and her boy friend contracted covid, and I asked if I could cancel one week's of my reservation. They said no, and the resolution was not satisfactory. Going forward, I will buy travel insurance.

This hotel has an excellent location, provides all the basic needs anyone can have when on vacation or business trips. Room is very clean, beds extremely comfortable, microwave, fridge, bar sink and coffee maker in each room with furniture that holds suitcases, bureau with drawers for clothes , an armoire to hang clothes, an iron and ironing board, a digital safe for valuables, a desk area for working a television set with remote, a well appointed bathroom with shower, lighting for any occasion, a washer and dryer in the hotel, a beautiful rooftop pool AND a buffet breakfast which is as amazing as the staff. Can't say enough.

Super clean, comfy big beds. We stayed for one night after a disaster with another property in the area. We booked very last minute and were impressed with the quick check in, big room, friendly staff and enjoyed the breakfast that was included in the rate!

We had a room with a window that faced into a corridor on the ground floor. It wasn’t a problem for a one night stay but I probably wouldn’t choose that room for a longer stay (but it did mean we had a very quiet night sleep as we didn’t get any noise from the street outside)

Good location, next to a Subway, cell phone repair shop (very good, low price), and a short walk from a Walmart and Mega Sorrianos. Good breakfast.

There is a taxi mafia in Playa del Carmen attached to many hotels, including this one. They will charge you 250 pesos (15 dollars) for a half mile drive, but if you call the Radio Taxi service (Google it) or flag down a taxi, the ride back will cost you 50 pesos (3 dollars).. The mafia taxi will cost 60 dollars for the 15 min drive to Ixcaret and 150 dollars if you take it to Cancun. The mafia taxi service is so powerful that the radio taxi will not drive up even close to the hotel. But if you walk a few hundred yards away from the hotel, this or any other one, you can get a taxi for a quarter of the price. Unlike most of Mexico where the prices are cheap and the people are super friendly, Cancun and Riviera Maya are set up to drain tourists of all their money with lousy service in return.

Great location, one block from 5ta Avenida, and short drive to parks such as Xcaret. Nice breakfast. Staff really nice and helpful. Our room was not the best at the beginning, we explain the issue and quickly they change us to a new room. Really happy with the place, fully recommend it. Little parking space in basement, have other external parking that solve the need. But when arriving when basement is full, you have to walk into lobby or use a doorbell to request access, and a staff member walk to the external parking to open it. Not a big deal but makes parking little complex at times.

Room size was good, as two families traveling together we got connected rooms. Staff was friendly, especially the house keeping. Overall property was guest and family freindly. Had a tour desk, with a great details and good offers for the guests, along with honest recommendations to avoid overpaying.

Breakfast spread was very limited. For the price, they shall improve the quality of breakfast to make a good experience. Limited meal option for vegetarians. Room keys stopped working, which required one to go to welcome desk to get it fixed.

The location is perfect to the main street, bus stop , restaurants and for pick up for sightseeing. The staff is helpful and answers all your queries. The breakfast is a mix of local mexican and american along with fruits and breads. The rooms are clean and the bathroom as well. The swimming pool on the terrace has an awesome view and great place to chill after a long day. At the price it is indeed a great place to stay and enjoy Playa de Carmel

The washing machine wasnt working during out stay

This is maybe the best apartment in Playa. The hosts were professional and kind, the apartment is massive and modern. Beautiful bathrooms, good bed and sheets, AC, a floor fan, kitchen. Everything you need is provided and there are many corner stores nearby if you need anything. You are out of the main strip, but only blocks away from it, but you are also in the area with lots of great local restaurants. Be sure to explore above the strip! Go to El Fogon for tacos!!!
