If location is key, Caribbean Paradise Hotel & Spa - 5th Avenue is an excellent choice! Situated in a prime tourist spot, it offers easy access to convenience stores, charming artisan shops, and vibrant nightlife with spectacular shows. The nearby bars and restaurants on 5th Avenue provide great dining and entertainment options. Inside the hotel, you'll find a team of staff always willing to assist, contributing to a very welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortably sized, and the family-friendly pool is a good size for everyone to relax.

My recent stay at Caribbean Paradise Hotel in Playa del Carmen was truly unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional service, prime location, inviting atmosphere, and unparalleled comfort. First and foremost, I must commend the staff for their outstanding assistance during the check-in process. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly helpful, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience. Their warm welcome set the tone for the rest of my stay, and their attentiveness to my needs throughout made me feel like a valued guest.

While my stay at the hotel was overall enjoyable, I must mention that the neighborhood's noise level, particularly from nearby bars, was quite noticeable until 2 AM. Despite the hotel's efforts to provide a comfortable environment, the lively atmosphere of the surrounding area made it difficult to fully unwind and get a peaceful night's sleep. However, it's important to note that this issue is beyond the control of the hotel itself, and their staff remained attentive and accommodating throughout my stay.

the property was very close to the main strip and very accessible if you’re out enjoying your day. It’s far enough from the louder portions of the strip and easy to stray from the noise if needed.

two things I can think about not liking are two small details because one may not be within the hotels control… which is outside noise well into the evening. The other is the noise from the room adjacent ours. I heard a sneeze, I replied ‘bless you’ thinking it was my wife in the bathroom. In actuality it was the neighbour in the next room. we both laughed, but the wall is rather thin.

Bed was super comfy. Staff were friendly and did a great job making sure our room was clean. the room itself was really nice. I saw lots of people complaining about the noise on the reviews but to say it was in the heart of playa del Carmen, it was fine. if you’re going on vacation to sleep at 10pm, don’t stay in a hotel in the heart of plata del Carmen! Also, sometimes the washroom did smell but a lot of playa del Carmen is like that, so it’s not the hotels fault, and it wasn’t all that bad.

Tip: if your AC unit isn’t working very well, take the filters out and clean them - we did that and it worked like a gem. That, and the shower could do with some maintenance. the shower head was so scaled up that half of the water was spraying in other directions.

The hotel is in a great location! Right next to 5th Ave, easy to walk to the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was great, it had a view of the street!

It didn’t bother us because we wanted to be near the popular spots but it is noisy until early morning due to close proximity to 5th Ave which might bother some.

I love the location. We were a few steps from the main Avenue.

The elevator is still not working it’s been months. Checking in we had someone bring our bags up but checking out they took more than 45 minutes to have someone help us so we wound up dragging them down the steps ourselves. We were packed for a week’s vacation and only stayed there for the first night so imagine the size of our luggage that we had to drag down 3 flights of stairs.

The pool looked dirty, no clear water so we didn't dare to go for a dip in the pool. That was a shame because we also picked the hotel for his pool.

We like the view from the room on the 5th ave, the jacuzzi was nice. The staff speak English and the price includes breakfast in the restaurant in the lobby floor. There where loud music from the bars below but we know it would be like this and we like it this way

We had an rental car and all streets got paid parking. Unfortunately the hotels parking is also for additional price so I had to pay. The guy in the parking entrance doesn't speak English so it took some time to let us in. Also the elevator was out of order that day so i had to go upstairs two floors with heavy suitcase

Location

Small fridge in room in bad condition, needed to insert room card in or order to keep AC on, no luggage stool, pillows super hard including mattress. Elevator doesn’t work there, hard to carry luggage upstairs.

Mary was the lady who checked me in. she is so kind and helpful. I told her my birthday was coming up and she prepared balloons and a kinder treat on my bed for my special day. all the staff was helpful and nice. the location was AMAZING. I will have to say there is a strong sewer smell coming out of the bathroom, however you get used to it after a while and it’s not so bad considering the price and location. Mary really made my trip welcoming and she was helpful in booking a massage in the spa at the hotel. would definitely stay here again!
