Location was great, rooms really comfortable. We upgraded to a room with a sea view and balcony this was absolutely worth it. Our friends had a standard room which had no windows! Food was good, restaurants were a little hit and miss but nice selection. Pizza slices by the pool was a good addition as was the coffee shop. Entertainment at the pool was fun and the staff were really enthusiastic- shout out to Danny and Manny! Good selection of drinks on offer as well.

Restaurants were hit and miss. Mexican and Italian were okay but the grill wasn't great. Not necessarily a dislike but an FYI - as with most places in Mexico the hotel including pool, rooms and balconys are non smoking.

The all inclusive included so much! Coffee bar, ice cream, snack room. Half the pool was party vibes the other half was more relaxed. Brilliant location. Buffet food was actually pretty good quality, breakfast was brilliant, lunch was a bit repetitive and dinner was hit and miss BUT you could go to any of the three restaurants and local food was also amazing.

Our room wasn’t cleaned very well, we complained a couple of times and nothing really improved.

The room was super comfortable and spacious. The entertainment staff were engaging and friendly. They put on a great pool foam party. The breakfast buffet at Ventanas was delicious, and the food at Zarape-especially the seafood-was amazing. I did visit the spa and the hydrology facilities are some of the best I have seen- comfortable, relaxing and just a beautiful and refined space.

The beach along the property is quite eroded and not what I expected for a Caribbean beach resort.

We loved the room. It was large, light and airy with plenty of room for luggage, etc. Many hotels don't have much room for 2 suitcases! We liked the food options, particularly the Sushi Bar and the lovely staff there. All the staff at the resort were very helpful and friendly. Once we realised how hideously expensive Tulum was, we definitely felt we received value for money!!

This was our first time in an all inclusive adults only resort which is, not surprisingly, catering for the younger hip & groovy crowd- at 65, we felt a bit old!!!!! The check-in/out process seemed slow and cumbersome - there always seemed to be long queues in the reception area when we walked past. Our stay was at the end of a fabulous 4 weeks touring around Mexico. We observed that everything was in USD, not pesos, and that seemed to take away the "Mexicanness".

Room was beautiful. We had ocean view and it was amazing! The property grounds are clean. The 3 restaurants were surprisingly good! We love that there’s a coffee shop on site (all inclusive).

The lobby bar closes at 11, which we think it is a bit early. The entertainment is a bit lacking. Wish the hotel had alcohol dispensers (like Riu).

Facilities were good. Most of the restaurants were good and the rooms were comfortable. They allowed us to use the facilities before our check in and after check out before heading to our next location.

Bar closed too early. One of the reception staff were rude. Quality of some of the restaurants was a bit low.

When we checked in; although I had booked a room unfortunately it stated I booked for 1 instead of 2. Staff said to give him $200 cash and he would add my husband to the room. Ended up, he just gave him an extra bracelet. We also got talked into a vacation time share thing; was given a 100$ voucher (they put in my husband's name and we couldn't even use it since they never added him onto the reservation. Wasted almost w hours for nothing and to find out the staff pocketed the $200. Guess he needed it for Christmas

The staff, every single member of staff were so friendly. helpful wouldn't be the right term. the staff could not do enough for you. absolutely nothing was too much of an ask. the staff were so jolly. so well spoken in spanish and english. so lovely, sweet and so polite. they made the entire experience for us. every single meal we had from the buffet was delightful, cannot complain. fresh and juicy fruit and veg. english/american classic breakfast, as well as what most people would eat at lunch time. endless choice of cuisine. you have the coffee and snack bar, the food here changes daily. Every snack I saw was decorated and presented to perfection. The ice cream was so creamy fresh fruity and delicious. The restaurants weren’t my favourite, but cannot complain. I just preferred the mixed buffet to chose what I liked. Every bar we went to, inside, the pool. Even room service, the service is outstanding. You can order as much as you like, the drinks are made and served pronto. Every cocktail was made fresh in front of me, the drinks were consistently great. If I had endless money, I would tip every member of staff I had met, a significant and life changing amount. I only wish the members of staff were paid extremely well and were really looked after. Carlos at breakfast was a favourite of ours, as well as Marissa. I’m sure there are many staff members in the buffet area with the same name. Jacob was another member of staff, at the grill restaurant on an evening, as well as breakfast. Beautiful people, the loveliest, warm and kind people who go absolutely above and beyond. Cannot recommend enough.

We dont usually give a 10 but everything was perfect. The room was very big. The pool is spacious and didnt feel crowded at all. The staff is super friendly and helpful. No waiting for the restaurants like some other all inclusives, you sign up before for a specific time and thats it. There is always a snack available to grab. The activities are super fun (volleyball, fire show etc.) Plentty of drinking and cocktails options.

The room service for certain stuff and after certain hours costs extra but it was really not a big deal. The alcohol and beverages are not on the upper level so dont expect anything too fancy, but once again it was more than enough.

This is an amazing resort and it's a bonus that it is adults only! We only had 2 nights there, but wish we could have stayed longer! It was the end of a busy 3 weeks in Central America for us so was the perfect place to relax before the long trip home! The pool is enormous with plenty of sunchairs. A bar over the pool made it easy to grab a drink and resume the position lounging in the sun! It has beachfront access which is great. The weather was a bit windy so being on the beach wasn't ideal, but the pool and facilities made up for it. The food was also amazing! Buffet breakfast and lunch with delicious options (so many options!) from Mexican to Italian and everything in between! There is a choice of great restaurants too and it's all included. The "snack and beverage room" was just such a great bonus if you felt like grabbing some fruit, a sandwich or some bar snacks! Good coffee and icecream too whenever you wanted! The room was just magnificent! It was huge and the beds were so comfortable. Giant bathroom, lovely amenities and a balcony with water views. There is music in the evening which was fine for us, but some may find it a bit loud.. our room was closer to the beach so it really wasn't an issue for us. It is in a good location too, on the beach but away from the busy main area of Playa del Carmen. The main street - Fifth Avenue or "La Quinta" is a short walk away though if you wanted to go exploring, and as 2 single female travelers we felt pretty safe walking around. The staff are super friendly and helpful and overall it is a great place to stay! highly recommend!

The only thing that in many respects is out of the control of the Resort was the seaweed issue.. There had been some wind and rain, so a lot of it had washed up on the shore and had been shovelled into large mounds which began to emit a strong odour in the heat! This smell then wafted into the resort. Not a major issue, but maybe some kind of air fresheners in the corridors may help change the smell, especially around where the rooms are! But it really didn't affect our stay!
