We had a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment at this great condo hotel. Very well designed space, cosy and comfortable and our own private balcony. Thoughtful provision - everything you need in the kitchen, ice in the freezer, free coffee and soft drinks on arrival and other nice touches. Good communication. The pool looks strange on photos but in reality the long thin ribbon pool with a waterfall at one end and hot tub at the other was perfect - good temperature, out of the direct sunlight, we enjoyed it. Access to a beach club nearby was fabulous - free sun loungers on the beach and next to the bigger pool in the adjacent hotel. Great beach/ sea view and lovely service from the beach club staff. Good food incl seafood. Loved watching the pelicans and other passers by from comfy sun loungers. Best hotel/ facilities/ service/ value for money in our whole mexico trip - highly recommended!

Nothing, we loved it. I have seen some comments re the loud nightclubs down the road, but they aren't that close and even with a street side apartment it did not stop us sleeping.

We had a great time at The Maya Villa Condo. Good location. Close to everything but still quiet. Only had one night when we heard dancing club noise, but it was a Saturday and was tolerable. The staff was great and super helpful. Condo was clean and comfortable. The pool is small but refreshing. We were able to use the sister property pools with our wristband, so that was a nice option. Quick walk to the beach. Spent one day at Mamitas Beach club, which was a fun day. Good restaurants. Walk to El Fogon for legit great Mexican food.

I loved that everything worked, the light bulbs shone brightly and the decor was tasteful. The design and flow of the apartment was super comfortable. Furnishings were fresh and tasteful. The whole apartment felt cared for and welcoming. The inner courtyard was peaceful, lush and calming with the waterfall. Hottub jets were strong, but water could have been hotter. Kitchen was well stocked and came with a large drinking water dispenser plus a spare. Linens, towels, soaps were great. We have been to Playa many times but typically stay away from the center due to nightclub noise. This unit 404 was on the inner courtyard and extremely quiet. AC also worked. Water pressure in the shower was strong enough (not very common in Mx). We would definitely stay here again!

Although we were the only guests in the office and there were 2 emplyees, it took a long time to check in. I had already filled out a lot on Booking. Com but in the office had to read, sign, and answer questions on paper and then wait for the two boys to figure out their computers and direct us. They were friendly but seemed disorganized. Note that checkin is at another location around the corner. There is no front desk at Maya Villa. There are several properties managed by one company. It was not a problem but caught me by surprise. Also additional fees were added on at the property, including a resort fee, but this did not feel like a resort!

I like very much everything! the size of the room , the fact that u could use the pool of the other hotel condo... even if it was so close to the quinta avenida the noise wasn t so bad for us :) we ll be back

maybe a washing machine/dryer will be great , for families is very important!

The nice vegetation, suites are well kept, and nicely furnished.

Pool was too small and access to pools on sister properties was denied. not accesible for older people or the disabled.

We loved the location. The more you are in Playa the more you realize the location is perfect. Close to all the fun and shopping all within a quick walk. Far enough away that you don’t have the noise. The property was well cared for. The gardens were beautiful and surround you making it feel like a paradise. Pools were clean and warm. Restaurant was delicious priced a little high but it is fresh seafood. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. House keeping did a great job. Beaches were ok but had a lot of seaweed rolling in and they were actively cleaning it up. We were told they are not usually like that. Easy walk to the marina to take ferry to Cozumel. Beaches at Cozumel were beautiful. The Bell boy walks you through your condo and gives good instructions for everything you need to know.

The only small complaint would be our hot tub on the roof top did not have a cover and did get dirty from the wind blowing stuff in. This did not really affect us to much because we enjoyed the hot tub by the pool.

The beach club and waiters, the ocean & swimming. The nachos were yummy.

The Spanish speaking female at beach club entrance was cold, rude and unhelpful and used language barrier (she may or may not speak English??) as a means to cut me off. There wasn’t a rush, no one in line but couldn’t give me a minute to talk. We came twice to beach club the first day two men were very nice. Second day one woman only and she displayed apparent disdain…thankfully I already knew routine as she had no intention of facilitating the experience for us.

between beach and quinta avenue, so exactly in the sweet spot. 2 nice pools, garage for the car, towels for the pools & beach. We had the apartment at ground floor, 2 bed rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen & the private jacuzzi!

minor detail but the boys at the associated beachclub maybe. Waiters there weren't sharp at all, 2 wrong orders in 2 days and still demanding 20% tip afterwards.

Safety, secure. Staff is very helpful.

Would have liked to have a bit more sun & natural light. Our suite was facing North and had no sun and very little natural light.I would stay here again, but only if our suite was facing South and possibly on the second floor, not ground floor level. I would request a different suite purely for light and sun. Otherwise, it is a little oasis right in town.

It was just gorgeous! So comfortable, well laid out and super clean the maids were brilliant and all the staff were so friendly. We wanted solidarity and weren’t bothered but they were always there in an instant when we needed. The location couldn’t be more perfect either. Just brilliant would 1000% go back! Supermarket was a 10 minute walk also
