Well located, clean, safe hotel with authentic design. I loved it very much. The staff is outstanding. Special thanks for Rose and Yhcar at the reception desk. They were very helpful, polite, kind with a wonderful smile. The hotel 8 minutes from both bus station, 5 min from the 5th avenue and 10 min from the beach. A real oasis.
There is nothing! Highly recommended!!

Staff were really sweet and always greeted us with a smile. They were very attentive to our needs, from beach towels to our request to change rooms due to a crack on the door (we stayed for a week and mosquitoes might get in). Walking distance to 5th ave and the public beach! Room was always refreshed everyday and new towels were ready after a long day in the water! Really appreciate that! The breakfast place included was a minute walk away but we loved it there. Nice big portions a la carte menu, its not a problem at all!
Warehouse bar beside the hotel can be very loud till 1am but we're deep sleepers and very tired from a full day so it didn't bother us.

I travel a lot and I dislike staying in resorts/busy areas. Hotel Casa de las Flores exceeded all of my expectations and was an amazing home base for our trip to Playa del Carmen. The staff were incredible, the space felt wild and cozy all at the same time (jungle vibes), and the hotel concierge was my favourite part (Blackie, the cat). The space was the perfect distance from everything - it took us no longer than 10-15 minutes to walk anywhere we needed to. If you are wanting absolute dead quiet, this place may not be perfect for you due to the bar next door. However, we spent our evenings playing cards out in the common area and it made the most amazing background noise. We felt the place would have been eerily silent otherwise! Once back in our rooms you really couldn't hear much music. There are so many nice restaurants and street vendors nearby. However, please note this is NOT a party hotel, and do not expect it to be one or you will not have the time you want. We felt incredibly safe, they have 24/7 security and the gate locks at night. We got back this morning at 02:00am, and we are already looking at coming back in 6 months. Until next time, Hotel Casa de las Flores!
Nothing. This place was everything we had hoped for and more. Don't hesitate to book this - there were families, couples, and solo travellers. This place is for everyone.

Location was great, staff was very helpful and spoke Spanish and English OK. Rooms were comfortable, WiFi worked, hot water in the shower. There wasn’t much noise from the party part of the town, so no complaints. Held luggage after checkout in a secure room.
All good!

Stayed at Casa de les Flores for 5 nights total before and after a GAdventures trip- 2 of which booked through booking.com and the other 3 as part of the trip package. Great hotel, clean, comfortable, helpful and hospitable staff. Best hotel I have stayed at as part of a group tour- In by experience these hotels pre booked by the company tend to be far from the centre, shabby and very basic. Casa de les Flores was certainly not this. Away from the main 5th avenue but not "out in the sticks" which was the perfect location for a quiet stay in Playa.
Where the breakfast served in the cafe was excellent and a great taste of Mexican breakfast, it would be better if the included breakfast was on site as I feel as if I overpaid for the included breakfast. The cafe price which was only around 130 pesos (£5.17) if ordered off the menu. Could do with a few more outside seating options away from the pool or reception where you could sit a read a book for a few hours.

I found the location to be very convenient, close to the ADO and the Quinta/beach and many restaurants and shops. It’s on a quiet street, so there is no late night noise from bars or clubs. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot and had good water pressure. There is a mini fridge in the room as well.
It can be a bit noisy if there are many people in the pool as the rooms are kind of built around it. There were small ants in the bathroom sink area, but this is very common in the caribe and didn’t bother me at all.

This little boutique hotel was the exact experience I was seeking for Mexico and the service exceeded my expectations. Fantastic price. Loved that it had aircon and a fan above the bed to provide options. Warm and welcoming reception, staff were superb, some even took the time to teach us some Spanish which we were grateful for. Our room wasn't ready because we were so early, we used the facilities to change and store our luggage before we went to lunch to wait. The grounds are well kept and lovely in the middle of a busy little city. The pool was divine, not big but everyone was considerate, I enjoyed reading by it in the lounge chairs after my swim and listening to the hustle and bustle outside while watching the birds and lizards enjoy the garden. Our room was spacious, lots of room for our luggage and stuff. Was pleasantly surprised we had a fridge for our drinks. We were at the end of the garden, had a little outdoor seating area that was semi private as people didn't need to walk past to get to their rooms. It was shaded and nice to sit and read. Love the decor of the whole hotel and our room, colourful but subtle Mexican flair, felt like someone's very large home with all the little touches, art work and garden landscaping. Breakfast in the little cafe down the road, 3 minutes walk, was perfect. Fruit for starters and good choices for cooked meals. Again, lovely old style Mexican decor, lots of plants creating a serene vibe and a busy cafe. Easy walk to all the cafe's, bars and resturants, 4 minutes. Also easy walk to Walmarts, ADO bus station and the ferry., 10minutes each way. We went to Xcaret for the day, highlight of my year!! We caught a taxi there and he came back and picked us up after, door to door, quick and easy and if I remember correctly was only $50 USD return.
Absolutely nothing, would definitely stay again and I miss it already.

Very homely and friendly and honest staff and manager. After staying at na balam in isla de mujeres which cost 3 times this price and the manager from mexico ripped us off, this hotel is all about honesty which is so important. Comfortable bed. Clean pool ,this is important because several hotels in Mexico (including na balam) had pools where you could tell they weren't being maintained and water was still. Close to town and beach. Staff happy to look after your every need. Great restaurant recommendations. Great price
A kettle in room would be nice but it seems lots of expensive hotels don't have this either

Staff spoke a good level of English and were very helpful. The room we stayed in was immaculate, and kept so for our full week long stay. Air con worked well and wasn’t too noisy, wifi was free with a strong signal. The pool was kept very clean. There was a small fridge in the room which worked well, and a water filter in main reception. Breakfast was at a small cafe/restaurant round the corner. Good traditional Mexican breakfast all served with coffee and a serving of fresh fruit. Staff at the cafe spoke very little English but there was an English translation of the menu available and good wifi onsite, handy for planning your day. Overall we had a great stay at Casa de las Flores and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone planning a stay in Playa Del Carmen 😁
We would have loved somewhere in the hotel to make or buy coffee in the mornings, but this wasn’t a big deal at all (and we understand they are planning on offering this soon!)

Cute hotel tucked away from the main touristy area , but close enough to everything like shops , bars , restaurants . The hotel is lovely , it has a beautiful courtyard and nice swimming pool, and it’s decorated in a typical Mexican style .rooms are spacious and lovely with fridge inside and big bathroom . Air con is great too . Staff is very nice and helpful , even though some of them don’t speak much English , but that was not an issue for me as I can speak Spanish :) They however always tried to assist us and help the best way they could . We stayed 4 days and had a great time .
Rooms were lovely but we missed kettle and coffee. We had to go out to buy breakfast and coffee every morning . Also , we got double charged for government taxes and ended up having to pay £50 more to the property than our Booking reservation stated ( going to claim that money back ) . When I tried to argue with staff at the reception , they just said call Booking . Apart from this little incident on the day of check in , I don’t really have anything bad to say about staff . One other thing I didn’t like was that if you try to get a cup of coffee from the reception , they charge you for it. It should be free for guests , like in all the other places where we stayed in Mexico .
