The reception people were very friendly and helpful. Some spoke fluent English. Others we sorted it out with Google translate. The Hotel was clean and quiet except when families walked by the room.

The bed was a little soft for me. Maybe not for others. There was only a sheet, not a blanket. So, if you wanted the AC on for ventilation, it was cold. I used a towel for an extra layer. It may be you could request a blanket at the desk.

This little hotel is well kept and in a convenient location. 15 minute walk from the beach and 7 minutes from the ADO bus. There are many good restaurants close by.

Like many Mexican hotels, there was only a sheet on the bed with no quilt. I just used the towels for extra warmth, as the A/C was directly above the bed. It may be that the desk had a blanket.

Great budget hotel, clean, comfortable beds, kind staff. My only issue was the night time receptionist, he would play shows on his phone very loud and the way it is made, it makes an eco-chamber reverberating the noise into the rooms. It was loud and annoying, not necessary. Use headphones.

I stayed at Hotel Yumkiin twice, once in December and then when I returned in January. It was a no-brainer on the return trip. Location, price, staff, cleanliness and rooms are all top tier.

I don't know if I honestly have any complaints. This was a real 10 out of 10 experience for me, both times.

I stayed here on two occasions. Staff were very friendly, and let me store my luggage whilst I went to Cozumel between stays. The room was really clean, spacious, with great wifi and excellent fan/AC. Location is convenient to ferry, supermarkets, ADO terminals and the main pedestrian street whilst being relatively quiet at night.

It was close to the action without the noise Rooms have a mouldy smell when you first get in which is a health concern. When you turn the AC on it goes away but you need to keep it on. Beds could be comfier. A thin blanket would be great because you need to leave them ac on

The room was clean where it mattered (floors, beds, wardrobe, bathroom) and was cleaned daily. There is a lot of storage, many coat racks, a safe, and complimentary toilet paper, soap and one towel per guest. There is a bottled water fountain at reception, which is super useful. Our door lock (chain latch) was broken the first night but reception staff tried to fix it to the best of their abilities. It was properly fixed by maintenance by the next evening without us having to ask for it - great communication between the team! The location is great, it's very close to the ADO bus terminal, the beach and a fun square although the latter can be a bit loud on Friday. There is technically no glass sealing the windows, only a kind of lamina, so soundproofing isn't possible. The guests were perfectly respectful though and I was able to sleep well.

There was ample dust sitting on the curtain rings, which is a bit unpleasant to look at.

nice place in a good location. Room is spacious and seems to be pretty clean. I think it's a pretty good place for short and convenient stay.

While I was there, there weren't many people and still you could hear people talking outside the rooms. They weren't talking loudly or anything, just bad sound isolation.
