Opposite the beach and a very handy 15min walk to the Medina or very easy get a petit taxi (10dh) on the main road outside. Spacious room with small fridge, good breakfast with plenty of choice and friendly staff in the dining room especially the lovely lady cooking omelettes and pancakes. Public areas are very well appointed with stylish furniture, lovely art and very relaxing. It was off season so it was very quiet and peaceful by the pool and day beds in the garden. We were able to check in earlier than 3pm and get a late check-out of 2:30pm which was great. We only ate once at lunch and bar food it was grand. It was lovely watching the sun go down in the evening at the front bar and drinks before/after heading out (great guitarist each night, not too intrusive). Overall Atlas exceeded our expectations as some of the reviews were quite negative. It was off season, hopefully they can improve before peak times.

Some staff at reception and in the bar certainly could engage with customers more. Rooms expecially bathrooms, towels and patio tiles and pool furniture etc definitely needs updating. Aircon room 241 was totally ineffective and convinced it actually blew out warm air (when set to cool). We had the window open so not too much of an issue in February (although i did get some bites) but it would put us off staying in Atlas when it gets hotter. Room cleaning was not consistent during our 3 day stay, only one water glass for two people, wine glass/cuttlery not removed. Our room card had to be reactivated numerous times even when not stored close to phone. It's a silly complaint but like other reviewers toilet paper very poor quality and I'm not sure saving the hotel any money! .

Beautiful room in an excellent location ! Beach across the road. All restaurants right there. Short walk to the Medina which was a nice sized relaxed Medina after all the medinas we’ve been to in the last two weeks. The girl at reception upgraded our room. WOW! After being on the road travelling Morocco for over two weeks and nearing the end of our trip, we went to our room and it was a suite with a beautiful view ! It was so nice to have all that space and be able to relax in our room with a nice view. Parking for our car right at the hotel

Not a big deal, but the shower flooded the bathroom. Luckily our bathroom was huge

The Resort is located right in front of the beach, and we were lucky enough to receive an upgrade room with view over the ocean for our girls to enjoy more their stay. The personelle was really courteous, nice and kind. They are very accomodating and helpful. The young man by the reception was very kind to give us some tips and explained to us different great places in Essaouira and transport and handed us a huge map of Essaouira. :) The pool area was very good maintaining the good hygiejne and made it easier to keep an eye on the kids. The Garden/veranda was really beautiful and relaxing and the fresh winds from the ocean made it very enjoyable. Omg! We enjoyed the morrocan mint te so much! The lady by the breakfast entrance indeed so smiling and accomodating, all of them! And until we left the hotel the guard man was very helpful and made sure we left the hotel with smiles in our faces. We were so lucky to witness the tour du maroc right in front of our hotel.. We had the best times! The sunset it feels so romantic over the Essaouira beach, our horse riding and camel riding experience were the most unforgetable while facing the surfing and kites in the sea. The sand of the beach was the finest and feels good at our feet! And oh the colorful medin! Only if we had more time and if only Ayla and Ayana likes to long distance walking, we’d probably enjoy more the place! And it feels so great to have visited the Essaouira fish port! The best fish port I ever seen in my life! With variety of fishes and I made sure to have tried some of them! Essaouira's Ramparts are featured most in the Game or Thrones' Astapor scenes, gladiator and many more! It was an overall experience that will for sure remain in our memories! We will definetly go back to Essaouira and wiæl always choose to stay at this place.

Nothing really.. everything is wonderful! Ah maybe the taxi because we are a family of 4 with small children but we needed to split and get 2 taxi because they had this rules of only to occupy max 3 passengers per taxi. Actually the hotem is located very nice just short walking distance to medina and fish port and the beach is just in front of the hotel.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable; right in front of the beach and within 10 minutes of the Medina. The breakfast buffet was great. The room had a great view and the lobby was quite impressive.

There was absolutely no sound proofing in the rooms. Constantly heard doors banging and furniture being dragged on the floor above. The room was a "junior suite" but it was too cramped with all the furniture that was stuffed into a relatively small place. The accommodations felt generally "tired" and in need of an update.

The lovely reception staff were helpful and friendly. The beautiful lady cooking omelettes for breakfast was marvellous, so patient with so many guest demands. The room was clean and comfortable. But why no drawers for unpacking clothes? A wardrobe is great, but you need drawers as well.

The swimming pool was freezing even though it was August. Perhaps solar panels could be used to pump warm water into the pool (it works in other hotels). The gym was hidden away from view, I used it. The bedroom had no drawers to lay clothes out such as T-shirts and underwear.

Nice and rather large bedrooms, the a-la-carte restaurant was very good plus a good quality room service reasonably priced , great location in front of ocean (the beach is extremely large and quite nice especially for long walks) in a quieter area still within easy walking from the Medina and Port

The staff can vary from quite good (most) to a bit more negligent (a few). No heated pool at Christmas, gym okish but could be better (a bit small)

Low season in Essaouira so the hotel was not busy at all. Quite a large hotel with a resort feel, right across from the beach which was nice. After staying in Riads in Marrakech, having a big modern room was quite the upgrade. Room was large, shower and bathtub, and couch and TV. King bed was very comfortable. Oh and they upgraded us upon check-in, which was also super nice. We did not have breakfast included but when I checked in the morning, the spread looked pretty decent. It's about a 15 minute walk from the bus station/entrance into Old Town, and its a nice walk along the water. I'm glad we chose here vs in the old town.

No coffee / tea making station which I need in the morning. I asked for a kettle at the front desk but apparently their room service closet/attendee doesn't start until 7am. We were able to get tea from the downstairs restaurant but additionally, they eventually delivered a kettle and mix of tea bags to the room (extra cost for the teas).

Be careful choosing sea view room. Yes, there is good sea view, but road is noisy in evening and at night.

Location was excellent, cross the street to be on the sandy beach We were upgraded to a suite which had an amazing view of the ocean The staff were friendly and welcoming and accommodated our requests, for example opening the gym at out of normal hours. Thank you atlas

Although the décor was really nice, especially the rose tables in the reception area, for me the details matter. For example, not having a bolt on our room door, or not having the do not disturb sign to be able to hang on our door reserved me in giving it full stars. The swimming pool outsode was great but despite us going in July the water was very cold, so heated outside pool would be a great addition. Full options for breakfast are not clear / publicised - if we had not read reviews we would not have realised that fresh omelettes and crepes were an option.

Location was good. Facility was clean. Breakfast buffet was okay but not great. Housekeeping did their job but did not go beyond. Spa is amazing and great service. In our 4 days there the lobby store was never opened. Bed was comfortable

Towels are worn We did have leaking faucet in bathroom that periodically caused flooding on sink. Raised concern and maintenance looked at it but couldn’t see obviously where it came from. So we just dealt with wiping counter as needed
